In addition, he caused damage to my home: my blinds were ruined, my driveway/pavers were stained from his van's oil leak, and my bedroom furniture was left covered in dust and drops of plaster. Despite giving him the opportunity to clean or repair the pavers, the stain remained. When I asked him to take responsibility, instead of addressing the issues, he became angry, defensive, and unprofessional in both his behavior and his written communications. He even tried to shift the blame onto me and claimed I should have purchased primer so he could check for his own mistakes -- an unreasonable and unprofessional expectation. Based on my experience, I would never recommend him to anyone. I am now left with damages to repair out of my own pocket because of his lack of accountability and poor workmanship.

Review for Just Call Joe LLC At first Joe seemed very…read moreprofessional and said all the right things to get the job. We hired Just Call Joe LLC for a large project including a full kitchen renovation, coffee bar, enlarging our pantry opening with barn doors, two bathroom renovations (one expanded), lighting in several rooms, a ceiling fan installation, utility room renovation, roofing work, and installation of an electrical subpanel. Unfortunately the experience was extremely frustrating. The project start date kept getting pushed back and once work began there were about 12 no-call/no-show days, constantly delaying the project. The biggest concern was the quality and safety of the work. The electrical work was not done to code. The subpanel had neutrals tied to the ground bar, cut wires inside the panel, and incorrect wire gauges that could have created a fire hazard. Plumbing work repeatedly leaked and had to be redone multiple times. At one point there was a suspected gas leak and instead of using proper detection equipment Joe tried checking with a lighter. I had to purchase a gas leak detector because he did not have one and insisted there was no leak in the crawlspace. Bathroom work also created additional costs for us. Joe was unable to properly install our shower doors and had to redo tile work, which forced us to buy additional tiles. His incorrect measurements also caused us to purchase the wrong size vanity. Other workmanship issues included sloppy caulking, improperly supported drain pipes, improper water heater ventilation, and incorrectly installing a ceiling fan that I had to fix. In the kitchen he installed cabinets without removing the protective floor paper underneath them, which is still visible today. Another issue involved windows he claimed were picked up. After terminating the job we learned he never picked them up and had only placed a deposit. He promised to reimburse us but never did despite multiple calls and messages. The only work that turned out well was a butcher block table and shelving he built. Due to the delays, no-shows, safety concerns, and additional expenses we incurred, I would strongly caution others before hiring Just Call Joe LLC.
