You will have to get to St Pancras station. This place is quite large but easy to navigate. Our trip was in the early morning and many people came here earlier than the time the train leaves. Everyone will have to pass through immigration and security with their luggage and bags. The train itself is spotless but the process for getting to the train track is a little strange. They won't let you know which number it will be until it is super close to the time. When that happens then everyone is trying to hurry up to that certain number. That was a little bit on the hectic side. Overall though the train ride itself is smooth and we got premium seats so we also got a light meal and drinks while we were traveling on board. It takes about 2 hours and 16 minutes to get to Paris and I really love train rides so this wasn't feeling too long or too short. Had a fun time and a cool thing about this one is that we go underwater!!

Once in the terminal for Paris departure, we found refuge at a few basic seats. They offer two cafes and a clean bathroom. The train arrived on time with quick boarding. The lower large luggage area on the train is limited on a first come first serve basis, although has higher shelving available. The ride was great without any issues with clean bathrooms. They offer a Eurostar Cafe onboard where we ordered water and chips. The cashier was friendly and offered us French mini chocolates, which we graciously took. At the cafe we purchased subway passes for Paris called Navigo. Much easier process than flying.

The seats looked fine and I didn't think anything of it, but when I got the confirmation email, they booked my tickets for the next day. I called Trainline and the customer service person was rude and unhelpful. He said the tickets were non-refundable and they would not be able to fix the issue for me. My trip is 3 months out and all they would have had to do is switch the date to one day earlier. I will not book with them again.

These guys are the BEST! We were coming into Gatwick late at night from an international flight…read more(Morocco). You never know how long delays will be, or how long customs will take. Our driver was there with a smile and a sign with our name on it. What a welcome sight after 12 hours of travel time! Our driver was so friendly. He told jokes most of the way to our Heathrow connection, and kept us very amused. He also had the car stocked with waters & CANDY! Kids thought he was the best driver ever. The company was professional. I arranged everything over the internet, pre-paid the fare and it all went as planned. No complaints. We haven't always had good luck with transportation companies, seems like they're never where they should be. This place is fantastic - highly recommend.

And really with train lineage that dates to 1863! One can only imagine a young Jack the Ripper roaming the stations late at night... Piccadilly Circus stop is my usual stop when I'm staying in SOHO but I promise I'm not Jack lol! A convenient location, really... in the heart of London with the Theatre District a stones throw away and iconic Carnaby street within a stroll. Boots is the convenience store or Primark if you're into souvenir tees and socks. British Pubs a plenty too! Piccadilly Circus stop is also where I met my soul mate... pretty English-ish lady with Twiggy lashes and angelic Bardot lips. We made eye contact and... Decent service running from Heathrow to, uh, Cockfosters. I know, I'm older than middle school, but…read moreit still amuses me to hear it repeated. Helpfully, the cars have a designated area for luggage storage. Just don't let your own luggage get out of your sight. The Piccadilly line splits at Acton Town, heading to the North for Uxbridge and slightly more South for Heathrow, which also splits at Hatton Cross with one line going to terminals 1-2-3 and then 5, and the other going to terminal 4 before returning to 1-2-3. This can be a bit confusing for the tourists who might have some trouble with English, let alone the mumbled version of the train drivers. In addition to Heathrow, the line also stops at King's Cross / St. Pancras for the Eurostar train to Paris. This makes it the most "touristy" of the Tube lines, so expect people to ask where "Lie-chest-er" Square is (it's "less-tuh"!). This is a very long tube line, completely crossing from the northeast of London to the west/southwest. It takes about an hour and a half to go from one end to the other. Still, it's extremely useful even as the cars fill to the brim between Holborn and Earl's Court and again from Hammersmith to Heathrow.

I remember that apparently this station was quite famous for having the longest Escalator in Europe…read more(though I'm not all that sure if the record still holds). Anyway, the station is fairly typical of an Underground Station, meaning that the trains do seem to pass through here on a reasonably regular basis. Yeah, it wasn't bad to be honest with you, and there are some interesting places located around the station.

The station is extremely deep with a very long escalator from the ticket hall down to the platform level. The usual ticket barricades and Oyster readers are there, with a staffed ticket booth. The station is in Travelcard Zone 1, between Old Street and Kings Cross on the Bank branch of the Northern Line. The southbound platform is extremely wide and dates back to when there was only a central island between the northbound and southbound lines. I wish more stations were like this - I hate having to walk around the muppets and be right at the edge of the platform!
