My complaints about the time I spent living in this complex are several:…read more 1. They have no drop box for rent checks and no way to pay rent online. Thus, if you happen to have a job that prevents you from dropping by the management office during 9-5 weekday hours, you have no way of paying rent. 2. Even if you do happen to come by between 9-5 on a weekday, the management office is frequently locked, and the phone is only sporadically answered. It's appallingly unprofessional. 3. The apartment manager here seems to change 4-6 times per year, suggesting that the staff is underpaid and / or poorly supported. 4. Good luck getting anything done on a weekend. 5. They perform pest control services without giving you any option to opt out. Generally the cheap pest control services employed at apartments like this one involve unnecessary, toxic chemicals, which I don't appreciate having sprayed in my apartment without my consent. 6. The rent is surprisingly high for subsidized housing, but your neighbors will be every bit of what you may expect from subsidized housing. 7. This is not the complex's fault, but this place is swarming with birds, and they tend to try to build their nests right above your door. My doorway is constantly full of feathers and bird poop, and the little winged rats have the nerve to dive-bomb at you when you leave your apartment. 8. They have absolutely no recycling option. What decade is it again? In short, this apartment stinks. If you're thinking about living here, I would suggest doing almost anything else with your life instead. If you want to have the same experience as dealing with the management office here, try repeatedly head butting your steering wheel.

When they fixed the A/C they cut a hole in one of the bedroom walls which released 1000s of bed bugs inside the walls. I had to fumigate twice on my dime! I finally moved out and was told they would file against me to replace the carpet they never had cleaned after all the flooding! I used my carpet cleaner to clean up but mold was already developing. I have noticed since moving they are tearing it down to skeleton and rebuilding. No one knows if it will be available to rent or if they as re turning it into an extended stay hotel in this tiny tourist town.

(We have been here for 2 months already) some of them are even safety concerns like the Windows not locking, or the fact we have no smoke detecters. 2. Bugs everywhere and a hornet nest right by our door outside. (Which no one is fixing) I have woken up several times to bug bites all over me and the pest control never comes. I have even had multiple wolf spiders in our apartment. 3. The landlady is a pain. Constantly making us do our own maintenance work when she does come. We had all broken blinds and no drip pans on the stove and she tells us.."here install these ones and put the broken ones in the tool shed." Really? Isn't that supposed to be your job? The landlady will come over whenever she wants. She rang our doorbell constantly at 7 am until we answered about trash that WASN'T ours. She also is never home or answers her calls! If you have an emergency maintenance request...good luck. She will only answer her phone after 5:30 pm..on week days because she has a landline and she is in San Antonio working ANOTHER job. She is never there on weekends either..so again..good luck if you need to contact her. There is no office here...No cell phone, and she doesn't answer emails. She is honestly too old to be doing this. This may be the most affordable rent in Fredericksburg..but it is old, not safe, and it isn't ran properly. If it would let me out 0 stars on this review I would. Don't waste your money or get stuck in a lease here!!!

They didn't cure it with Clorox and they didn't clean the mess up.. they knocked a hole in our bathroom door in the process.. my roommate flakes out on me skipped out on rent. When I went by the office with a letter I typed up for them a money order to pay my way out of the lease and my keys. They argued and argued with me. Telling me that they couldn't accept the keys or the money order. I was just trying to do the right thing and be the responsible adult I am. I've never been late on my rent either. If you want a decent place to rent I definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!!! They are SLUMLORDS! That can't keep up with the maintenance on their stuff!!!!

Neighbors+all staff participate in passive aggressive hate rituals, not limited to: honking, revving, littering, wafting dryer exhaust, exhaust gassing drive-bys, strategic coded walk-bys, smoking various substances, busting air filtering mechanisms. Mgmt has a time limit for your stay there and they are not denied.
