The rest of the family didn't do so well... My son ordered from the kids menu. He wanted Linguini. He had the options of: * Plain linguini ($8) * Alfredo linguini ($10) * Alfredo linguini with chicken ($13). He ordered plain. He got Alfredo. I asked to get it switched to plain. The person I asked told me that is just how it is made. "Plain is Alfredo." I asked, "What is Alfredo then?" She said, "that is with Alfredo with Chicken." I asked, "What is Alfredo with Chicken then?" She said, " that is supposed to say Shrimp." The look on her face was "why is this a problem for you." When we got the bill, it showed we were charged for Alfredo linguini for $9. My daughter ordered a chicken quesadilla, she got cheese. We asked about it, they made her another one, but it took longer to get than the original order. My wife ordered the turkey club. It came out without the bacon, lots of turkey, none of the sauce. They gave us 15% off for our confusion which was nice. I'm still baffled by that linguini.

Al of this week I have been in work interviews with candidates that have gone over the lunch hour…read more However, my employer hired Social Catering and Events to provide a catered, hot lunch each day and I have been quite impressed. While I am sure that they build the meal to the budget and event type, each day has brought a delicious hot entree (for example, today was a fantastic vegetarian spinach and cheese pasta roll), a salad (the watermelon and arugula salad was pretty darn tasty), sometimes a side (if you have the cornbread, you MUST use the flavored butter spread), and always a great dessert (homemade chocolate chip cookies with crumbled bacon....need I say more?). Angela (on of the partners) and her team have been really attentive, including remembering the drink selections of those of us on the interview committee and bringing them out to us when we arrive. And they have been respectful of the meeting environment, including quickly and unobtrusively clearing things away while we meet with the candidates (or, today, silently serving individual warm bread puddings right after lunch was cleared). And the set-up of the serving platters and drinks is top notch. One of the things that they specialize in, and like to do, is catered parties in peoples homes. They will be the first caterer I call should the opportunity arise. You can't go wrong. Contact is info@socialcateringandevents.com

Their team arrived right on time and they were courteous and helpful from start-to-finish. The (incredibly delicious) food was prepared and arranged beautifully right on time, and they were flexible to bring everything out as we needed it. They helped me move tables, offered suggestions for presentation, and offered to wrap up and set aside dessert for the bride and groom to enjoy later. Throughout the evening, they were on-point in service and attitude. They played a huge role in ensuring the reception was a success. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

She accepted over a thousand dollars and confirmed to bring dinners to our family in Cape San Blas while on vacation for the week. We received our first meal, missing one of the sides and after requesting the missing item be delivered and also questioning the quality of the food, we were told that we would be getting a refund and no more meals. So our family is stuck on vacation without allergy friendly food (not great choices in PSJ) and if I had know Colleen was going to screw us over I would have brought our food to cook from home. When you agree to feed a family that has dietary restrictions and say it can be done, don't screw them over and leave the whole family hanging including children! We have never been treated so horribly and I would not want anyone else to go through this.
