Mike was quick to respond with phonecall. He carefully measured. Estimated work completed in 2-3 weeks. One awning was complete the same week, but as tempertures dipped dangerously low, we posponed the other awning for a week or so - understandable as the temperatues could have cracked the siding and new materials. Love the awnings very much. I did not expect them to harness the door lights - which was a great surprise. Very professional workmanship. The house looks complete.

We had about 5 of them, and they uninstalled the 5 awnings and held them for us until we finished our house painting. The crew was great, and the person I forget his name, was great to talk to. They used the holder around the ladder to make sure it does not hit the house or gutter. They really know how to gel with customers and guaranteed the work will be done correctly. They came back today and installed the washed awnings and repaired the one, and did it in a clean fashion. Fast, efficient, and they really know how to treat their customers. I recommend anyone who needs awnings cleaned and repaired, they will get the job done. The price was good too, and they were honest. Highly recommend Shine-Awn.

Consultant Bryan Witt was very rude and not knowledgeable about the store products. I explained to…read morehim that I was interested in purchasing a front entry door for a three flat building. He informed me that I needed a commercial door, when I asked did he have a display door, I was taken to the back door of their building to view a commercial door. I immediately informed him again, that I was looking for a front entry door. He walked me back to the front and preceded to search for the store catalog. When Bryan found the book he slung it across the table at me. The service was terrible, he repeatedly told me that the door I wanted would cost around $5000 on up. I made him aware that the price didn't matter I was interested in a quality door for my building. The service was just rude and disrespectful. These guys were working on a busy corner in my neighborhood. It was the time of the morning where…read moreeveryone is in a hurry to get somewhere; drivers are likely to be on auto-pilot, in a hurry and not paying attention The guy with the power washer was not stopping to let people by. This would have been fine, except that their ladder--which was not being used--was filling the only dry spot on the sidewalk. I won't go into all the details, but it was creating an unsafe situation for pedestrians that was also difficult to avoid. There are plenty of families with kids that pass this way, and they should not be pushed out into traffic. I figured it was an oversight -- they don't have any reason to really know the neighborhood and what makes navigating that corner more complicated than most. So, I pointed it out and asked if he could move the ladder to the side. [I think I was nice, but maybe I am totally not self aware an an absolute jerk right off the bat...?] Powerwasher guy was immediately angry, and started telling me how he's just trying to do his job. At this point, squeegee guy interjects to tell me he will move the ladder. But, I wait for a long moment and he doesn't. I ask when he will move it. He says now. But, he keeps squeegeeing. I wait. It appears he is passive aggressive, has no intention of moving the ladder, and just wants to appease me so I will go away. I don't want to be blown off. Eventually angry powerwasher guy stomps over, picks up the metal ladder and thunks it down noisily in a better place. I thank him and start to cross the street. Before I am even to the other side, I hear the clatter of the ladder again. He has made the extra effort to put it right back in the place where it blocks the sidewalk. It is still not being used. One star because the windows at that storefront usually look fine.
