Because it was a Groupon when I called to schedule it was told I could only use it between 930-11am at which I told them that I worked and I needed afternoon. When I told them I would be paying for my husband then they agreed to give me an afternoon slot. Lady was rude at the front desk and told me that next time I could just pay it there. We were taken to a couples room but never asked if we wanted to be in a room together, given instructions as to where to lay which we didnt understand due to language barrier and when we didnt do it as she said she came in yelled at us and talked in chinese- probably called us stupid, and appeared exasperated. I think she could and should have explained slower- but neither of us understood so it wasnt a just ME thing! Massage was soft, disorganized, odd and the lady massaging my husband's feet kept stopping - he thought she kept falling asleep!!! There's a big signed that tells you what to tip starting from $10 worst to the best which is $25 per person... a bit much for a $65 below average massage... but expected! as we were walking out she looks at me and says "TIP!" I told her my husband gave the tip in cash ... He gave $10 each and they looked at the $10 like it was diseased. Yes maybe $15 each was better but we weren't happy and really didnt want to give anything! The whole process was uncomfortable to say the least! would never return. We have had many massages including in Beijing, Thailand, Dominican Republic etc... but this was definitely the worst. Not sure if this treatment was due to the Groupon or if its a usual... but it was definitely RUDE.
