The wedding is over, and for the last week I have been looking at picture after picture of the most…read morebeautiful wedding shots ever. Darrell and Norm did an excellent job. People on facebook who I barely know are commenting that these are the best wedding shots they have ever seen. They captured everything from the swoosh of my dress to the amazing spontaneous sunset, to every single guest being in a shot at one point or another. Before the wedding, Darrell took great measures to familiarize himself with our wedding party and location. By the time the wedding rolled around, a lot of our guests and wedding party knew him- they were like "Look, there's Darrell, lets go get a picture!" That amazed me, that he would become such a part of the wedding. The attire and demeanor of both Darrell and Norm is highly professional. I can't say enough good things. Feel free to PM me for further recommendation on this great wedding photographer!

I had the pleasure of working with Darrell this past weekend at a beautiful (the weather made a…read moreglorious appearance) wedding in Port Ludlow. Laura (who was the first to review) was the bride, and I have to agree whole heartedly with her when I say that he was fantastic to work with. He and his assistant, Norm, held nothing back when it came to capturing gorgeous, candid shots. As the sun set on the most beautiful day of the season, they were sure to grab the bride and groom for some beautiful moments despite all the "traditional" pictures having been captured already. There were completely professional, easy to coordinate with, and always on the spot for those "one thousand words" shots. Thanks Darrell!

They were on time to locations, they clearly worked together as a team perfectly. The price we paid was super reasonable to the pictures and quality of all our items. They even helped us out at the end of our wedding. Which we did not pay extra for! Our wedding album was the best i have ever seen. they sent us some little odds and ends stuff after the wedding with our pictures. the presentation was spot on. I really couldn't be happier with the outcome of the wedding pictures. Friends and family still marvel over how spectacular the photos are. We wouldnt have had such amazing pictures without the dynamic duo couple! They are a super loving couple and I would and Will gladly recommend them to anyone that needs Professional pictures taken!! Side note: they also did our christmas family photo which was loads of fun!

In addition to taking…read moreexcellent, vibrant photos, they were incredibly kind, funny, and helpful, and went above and beyond to help us make the wedding run smoothly. I could not be happier with the photos they took! Not only did they have great suggestions for group shots and poses, but they captured so many beautiful candid moments. Their photos are all bright, colorful, and lively. And their turnaround timing is amazing! They sent us 20+ edited "preview" photos less than two days after the wedding, and just recently sent us all completed photos, less than a month after the wedding! We did have a relatively small, short wedding, but that was so much sooner than I expected to have them! Heather and Ryan are also just AWESOME people! They are so calm and professional, but also very funny, warm, and wonderful to be around. They graciously offered to help us anytime they saw we needed assistance. My mom definitely appreciated Heather helping her bustle my extremely poofy dress! They also managed the time we scheduled for photos very well. We never felt rushed, and they made sure they captured every moment that we wanted before they left. We are so happy that Heather and Ryan were a part of our wedding. They were the perfect photographers, and excellent company! I would love to work with them again, and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Her energy instantly made me laugh and put me at ease. I left the meeting smiling from ear to ear, telling my husband "I love her! I am so excited for them to share our day with us!" Heather and Ryan were amazing throughout the entire process. They did our engagement shoot for us. They suggested places around the city that I hadn't even thought of, and were super flexible when the unpredictable Seattle rain got in our way. Even though we got caught in a rain storm, they are pure professionals, worked around it, and got the job done. We had such a good time. I was so in love with our engagement shoot! Heather was in contact with me weeks leading up to my wedding. I had a scare with my father, and she was unbelievably supportive, gave me ideas of how we could include him, and constantly checked in on me. I appreciate this level of compassion and it reaffirmed me that the energy I felt from her from the beginning was genuine and she is a solid good person. Her support leading up to and throughout my wedding means the most to me. The day of, they were punctual, on time, and got right to work snapping pictures of my family as we got ready. They made the whole process go smoothly, and always seemed one step ahead of everything. I honestly don't think I would have made it through the day without Heather by my side coaching me (with a few laughs along the way). I was so comfortable with Heather and Ryan that I forgot that they were taking pictures the entire day. I have a complicated family dynamic, and during our family photos, they made sure to get a picture with every combination imaginable (which is difficult, believe me). When I received my photos, I was in love with all of them! Seriously. They were everything I was hoping for and more. Heather and Ryan captured literally every moment of the entire day. The great thing about them is they edit your photos, and give you every single picture so that you are the ones who can decide which photos you like the best, not leave it up to their discretion. I think I got over 2,000 photos back. It was so much fun to relive those moments and is so special to know that I have all of those memories to keep forever. My entire family was so happy with all of the photos. Everyone keeps commenting on "They did such a great job! These are such great photos!". They made us look good, feel good, and capture precise moments that mean the most to us. I am 100% so happy with the work, and friendship, they provided! I consider Heather and Ryan a part of the family now. We had so much fun with them at the wedding. They connected with every attendee and all of my friends and family were raving about them. I now consider Heather a friend, and will definitely be hiring them for photoshoots in the future as our family grows. Hire them for all your photography needs, and you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Even though I didn't personally know the couple in the video, Mark's vision and editing made their story a romantic and fun movie. I immediately contacted Mark. With only a month's notice, Mark was able to make it work. Mark worked around our crazy schedules, took care of all the details, made us feel comfortable (even though we very camera shy) and always responded to our emails and calls immediately. His professionalism and responsiveness made our lives so much easier. Our video was delivered ahead of schedule and it was perfect. We didn't plan to have a wedding videographer at first. After seeing so many demos we were not impressed, all the videos were emotionless and boring. I am so glad I found Cascadian Weddings before it was too late. Now that few months have passed, I am so thankful that Mark was able to capture this very special day on video for us to enjoy for the rest of lives. A lot of people don't see the significance of a videographer when they have already have a photographer to capture the day. Trust me, you'll regret it. It's not the same thing. Most couples are so busy and tired during the wedding that it just flies by. You will want to go back and watch the most beautiful moments of your wedding unfold from the best angles, Cascadian Weddings will make that happen.

Originally, I didn't think a videographer was that important but I was SO wrong! Our video represents so much more than just our wedding - it truly captures our entire relationship. Mark was so much fun and he spent time and interviewed both of us before the wedding. He integrated our responses perfectly throughout the video in a way I'd never seen before and it added such a wonderful dynamic. We left all the creative decisions up to Mark as we knew he was the videography expert and he selected perfect music and captured every part of our wedding - from the pre-wedding primping to my father-in-law's hilarious dance moves at the end of the night. After sharing the video through social media, it's surreal how many people have told us it is the best wedding video they've ever seen. Every time I watch it (which is frequently!) I'm reminded of something else that happened during the wedding that I had completely forgotten about while being caught up in the whirlwind of things. It really was the best night of our lives and I'm so grateful to Mark and Cascadian Weddings for giving us something tangible that we will always be able to watch and share with our friends and family. Thank you, thank you, thank you! If you're looking for Seattle Videography, I highly, highly recommend Mark and Cascadian Weddings!

I've never left a 1-star review on Yelp, but this seems to be my only option. In January 2023 I…read morehired Suh Events to shoot something special -- my friend's 50th birthday party where he celebrated by playing bass in a band on stage for the first time. I made the mistake of paying Such Events their full fee up front. They came and shot the event, everything seemed fine. They followed up a few weeks later and said they were starting the editing process. Then they stopped contacting me. The first few times I checked in -- a month, 2 months later -- they said they were working on it. By the 3rd month, they stopped answering emails or calls. At the 4th month, my friend who'd had the party went and talked to them to make sure they were still working on the project. They said they'd had some personal issues get in the way, but they assured him they'd start working on it. It's now been over 6-months and they've stopped answering his calls or emails too. I know sometimes projects can take a long time to edit. But I'm sure in those cases the photographer stays in contact with the client, fully explains any issues, and works to agree on a later delivery date. They don't just stop communication and disappear. So at this point it just seems I made the mistake of hiring an illegitimate business, and the best I can hope for is to somehow, some way, at least receive the raw footage they shot since it's a once-in-a-lifetime memory, and they're the only ones who have it. This review is my last ditch effort to at least make that happen. Needless to say, I recommend not ever ever hiring Suh Events, unless you are ok never seeing the Event you hired them to shoot.
