The prices are competitive and they do daily delivery to St Albans (other areas have 2 days in the week for deliveries). The team in the Plant Information & Advice Centre are incredibly helpful and they have lots of free booklets to help with maintaining your garden (laying turf, planting trees etc.).

Something for every budget from good standard porcelain floor tiles right up to Versace tiles (!!). A nice showroom and friendly, knowledgeable staff who had plenty of good advice about various tiles and all the sundries that go with them, grout, adhesive etc. The tiles I bought are now laid in my bathroom and look great so thanks for the tips.

I think it's generally top quality products but some will cost a fortune to take them home with you! A great place for one off items, such as cushions, mirrors, Christmas baubles etc as they can be really unique. A great place to visit in the sales though!

There are various items for the home such as candles, sprays, linen and pillows. There is a small selection of clothes and night wear including dressing gowns. Upstairs is where they keep the children's clothes and accessories (they have a lift) and it's lovely to have one or two of their pieces for your child if you can stretch to it. I'd definitely recommend going in the sales!

The staff are working their socks off in the store. Pity customer services at head office don't do the same. They pass the buck back to store constantly. Barbie dolls springs to mind. Don't care attitude. The store staff do care about customers and their satisfaction. The staff are spread more than thin. They are running the store on half the staff they had pre covid. Doing twice the work for the same salary! The manager was clearly unwell but still soldiering on and setting her staff a good example. The store was cold. Surprised the staff don't have pneumonia. Dunelm, start treating your staff with some respect, give them some incentive, a bonus from time to time and some heat in the store. It's heartbreaking to see how they are treated. They are on the front line and put up with abusive customers also. They don't deserve any of it. I recommend the service in store 1000% , it's 10 out of 10. On the other hand, the service from head office has to be zero. They simply don't care about customers or staff. They only care about their cash register ringing! Well done St Albans Dunelm. You're doing a fantastic job.

Probably best to see the website for details but curtains, cushions, kettles, art material, pictures, kitchenware and they also have a coffee shop. Easy and free parking and I think a bit of a hidden jewel at the moment.
