And honest; I thought I needed a new timer and was prepared to buy one from Thanx Bubba but the owner reprogrammed mine and gave me sound expertise if I chose to move forward with a newer unit. I witnessed a female driving over 90 miles per hour recklessly on my drive home from work tonight with this company on their trailer. She then proceeded to tailgate others and recklessly swerve in and out of lanes and cause others to break hard to avoid hitting her. With a trailer hitched to their pick up no less. I certainly wouldn't trust someone that practices such selfish and dangerous behavior on the road to take care of my house. read more

They were able to accommodate and work with our schedule-came out quoted us a fair price- for a yard that hadn't been landscaped for several months- We were happy to pay. Allena owner of Thanx Bubba landscaping in Henderson Nevada is a thief, does not care about her business or her customers and only wants to take your money. She quoted us $1000 for a job that should only take no more than 3-4 days but took 6 weeks to do it and still didn't complete it. Per her requirement she needed a 50% deposit to start working. We sent her a check in the mail and she claimed she never got it and demanded another check or she'd charge us late fees. Interestingly, we gave her another check in person asking her to come pick it up which she did, and the next day called my mom saying that the original first check finally arrived and she deposited it with the other check we gave her in person the day before. I think she planned that and that's why you shouldn't trust her. her first visit where she trimmed everything including cutting down one tree, she left the tree with a 4 foot stump and left all the cuttings on the floor in her dumping zone which were on top of these antique metal ground lights and several were broken. She had no sense or care to protect the light fixtures or be cautious, and instead just dumped large tree branches all over them. See pics and see how close and big these tree branches were by the ones that survived and see the broken ones buried. She said that she would return to complete the rest of the work another day. We didn't think she would return only once a week for 30 minutes each time over the next 6 weeks only to pickup a few branches each time vs. cutting down long branches and bundling them up to fit in her truck. But that's what she did! Her 2nd visit she skipped the week before. No call no show. When we called her she through a fit. Don't you dare call her during business hours cause she's working and no one else picks up her phone. Don't you dare text her cause she hates texts. She became very rude and hostile with my mom, and then me and picked up my call answering "what do you want from me? I'm working". She didn't even say "hello". She's a thief, fraudulent, hates her business, doesn't like people, she's in your face confrontational, has no customer service and doesn't know how to run her business or care for it. Since we moved to Vegas, I have only used Thanx Bubba for our landscaping needs. We have desert landscaping and Thanx Bubba always does a great job. I found Thanx Bubba through Thumbtack, and they were the only company that followed through with giving me a quote and coming to the house for an estimate. Every time Allena and her crew come to the house, they do an excellent job and provide quality work. She is always professional and she's one of the few who still take a personal check. read more

I had sent her a txt telling her that my lush Lantanas on 1/2 of my yard I did not want them cut back as they were blooming and the others were frozen so that would good to do...but she did both? Some of the stucco was damaged by my front gate. Since she got in my face and yelling at me I left her and have repeatedly asked about getting invoices for the work she did and let her know that the lights she installed were not working and I want the info on the brand to see if there is a warranty and still no response. She is not currently licensed in Henderson, it expired 2 years ago, I did text her that info stating it would not be me to turn her in...mainly because so far my neighbors still use her and I don't want them to be in the lurch with out an Gardener. To be fair, I haven't actually done business with them. However, I was at the dump this morning with a 28' trailer stacked 7' tall with trees and concrete. My husband questioned them before I was woken up and the "owners" response was "Is it to early for you because it isn't to early for me." Are you kidding me??? My daughter previously posted a 1 star review based on our experience hiring Thanx Bubba and the owner Allena but left out some other things that you all should know. Initially Allena's quote was for $1000 which included everything we asked her to do. Then she came back and asked for $400 more to trim two tree trunks down to the ground which was originally included in the first quote for $1000. She argued that she didn't include them in the first quote, so I said fine and gave her the additional $400 to cut down those two tree trunks down to a stump. After 6 weeks of her coming only once a week for 30-45 minutes only each time, I finally asked her on her last day if she'd be done that day in completing the job work we agreed on. I mean...I didn't hire her for weekly maintenance where she'd come weekly to keep up the landscaping and that was very clear from the start! I hired her for very specific requests which should of been completed over a few days, max one week versus treating this job like she was providing us with weekly maintenance where she'd come weekly. I was selling my house and needed the job done. But she's too lazy and doesn't care as long as she has your money. She said no and got very offensive and confrontational like how dare I ask her when she'll be done. So I ignored her attitude and told her thank you but no thank you and get off my property then...I don't need you anymore. She got very angry and told my husband that we were very unprofessional and rude because I told her to get off my property and never come back and she's never met people so impolite. I highly doubt that Allena! I didn't care anymore that I paid $1400 for a job that she didn't finish and just let her go. I didn't want to wait any longer and I couldn't because we were closing escrow in one week. Our realtor sent her gardener over and he came and picked up all her mess she left for 6 weeks of very very slow work, and did a better job that she did and our realtor didn't even charge us. He was quick and completed her job without additional pay from us. Don't work with Thanx Bubba and Allena unless you don't care for quality of service and customer service. She's a thief, rude, confrontational, doesn't care for her business or customers, acts really nice in the beginning until you ask for something and she's very unpleasant and unapproachable. She behaves like she hates her job. She lies and isn't reliable and won't show up if she knows you're out of town or not in your home while still trying to get paid. And she will not be cautious and work carefully to prevent damaging anything else on your property while she's there and she won't admit it or take responsibility for it. DON'T TRUST ALLENA OWNER OF THANX BUBBA. I swear this is all true and want to share so no one else gets burned by her. It was an awful experience that I'm glad is in my past. So BEWARE! read more

It says that she has 5 employees working for her but, she only has 2, she being 1 and the other another person. Has an eye for detail! Always checks out our sprinkler system to make sure we're watering properly. Great deal as well. Very knowledgeable with plants and fixing any landscaping related issues. Stay away from this woman company ! I strongly do not recommend her service. She will act nice and first , but don't be fooled. She is a wolf in sheep's clothing. It's just a matter of time before she will find a reason to harass you as she did me and countless others( see her yelp and thumbtack reviews) I thought people exaggerated in there reviews about her , but it's all 100% true. She is my first negative review. Often skipping her service day without giving notice , she can leave property dirty and not picking up after herself ( she might apologize for it though) She can cancel her service on you without notice or even bothering to inform you and then send you a bill with late payment fee( she wasn't on time to pick up my cash payment and I had to go to work) She will threaten to take you to court if you disagree to pay fee. She doesn't check on irrigation when she sees dying plants , resulting in multiple , very expensive bushes down the drain( see pics) She charges me triple he price then other companies to change a valve ( see pics) I'm going to report her to Nevada State Board of contractors .
