I should have read reviews before I went there for a haircut. My hair looked like Trista put a bowl over my head and cut straight across, even though I impressed upon her repeatedly that I needed layers.. Honestly, i could tell she didn't know what she was doing in the first.minute I was.in the chair. She didn't seem to hear what I was telling her about cutting layers.I looked like Buster Brown when she was finished. Took her about 10 minutes . It was terrible and they charged 55$, which I did not pay, as no one came up to take my money as I waited at the podium. I have been having Courtney highlight my hair for many years. She is very gifted with color! The vibe is very fun and upbeat every time I have gone in. All of the ladies are friendly and busy, which means they are great at making people feel their best! Love this place. Not sure why the negative reviews. First time at this salon it was a horrible experience. Not only was a highlight/lowlight $336 my hair looks awful. I had 5 pictures to show this girl and my hair looks nothing like what I wanted. She told me next time to bring more pictures. This salon is over priced and the hair dresser took 4 hours to do my hair nothing like the pics I showed her. The whole time she was doing my hair she kept insulting me that my hair is very thin. My haircut is awful I told her I wanted to keep it long. The high lights and low lights are nothing close to what I wanted. This salon refused to give me back my money and if I want to go in for corrections, I have to pay extra. Don't go to this salon unless you want to waste money, and have a horrible hair experience. read more

This was my first time at T'hairapy. Christine charged me $15 for "extra time" to dry my admittedly thick hair, but then still left me with wet and frizzy hair when she was "done." She had called me in for the appointment but when I got there said she only had a half hour. I'm not sure whose hair takes only half an hour start to finish (perhaps short haired gals?), but my long hair certainly doesn't. I didn't know about the "extra time" charge until after I left the salon and got my receipt so tipped on top of the entire fee. $73 to walk out with wet, frizzy hair is not my idea of good service. They should be upfront about available time and up-charging. I could have told her a half hour would never have been enough to wash and blow dry my hair. And if you charge for "extra time" then actually take the time to finish the job. I have never had a salon charge me extra to actually get my hair dry. read more

First time customer and I brought my 2 kids in for cuts. The salon itself is cute and clean. I was promptly serviced by friendly staff but the cuts were absolutely terrible. My daughters hair was not cut straight at all and my sons hair was not at all what I asked for. The stylist didn't even trim around his ears with the clippers. I had been cutting at home for the last 5 months and I honestly was doing a better job than this trained professional. I'm very disappointed and I will not be returning. read more

I have been coming to this salon for years. My hair dresser had just recently left so I decided to try someone new. I had a terrible experience. Not only was I at the salon for 7 hours, I left so upset about my ruined hair. I was told I could come back and the same girl would try to fix it again.
