Very cute interior replication the food stalls and marketplaces in Thailand.
The food was good the portions were quite small. The lunch portion of basil chicken was really very small - almost more rice than the stir fry and the flavors were very mild. The server never asked us what heat level we wanted and we forgot to say medium to hot so it was pretty bland.
Since we were still hungry we ordered pan egg rolls (basically one shrimp wrapped in a wonton wrapper and fried) served with a sweet chili sauce, they were fine, nothing special.
The chicken wings however were the sleeper dish of the day. Only two wings total (2 drummettes and two flats with tip attached) so that was a bummer. They were smoking hot, fairly crispy and still very moist and were dusted with fried garlic (or shallot) bits which really picked up the flavor.
Given the many other Thai spots within a few blocks I don't think we would return until trying others first. read more
