This restaurant has something about it whether it is the atmosphere or an old edwardian style building I am not sure but it is nice inside feels cosy and familiar
But
We all want to know whether the actual food is good or no ... and , in my opinion , it is not.
It seems like people still run Thai restaurant in an old fashion way back in 1950s when Aussies didn't know anything about Asian food , means taste Bland with an effort not to "offend " taste bud,,, 2017 is almost here we don't want to eat anything blend we want an authentic, original ,different.
This Thai food restaurant has Thai cook Thai waitresses , Thai co-owner ( wife of an actual owner, this was told to us by wife herself) but doesn't have the real taste of Thai at all. I can cook exactly same or pitch better if I buy sauces from supermarket. All dishes have same vegi combination ( carrot plus baby corn) in almost everything . Curries are runny And tasteless . All we tried was way too sweet . I am talking about 9 dishes we have ordered and all were described as above
I didn't get bad vibe there service was friendly and efficient , place was very clean and nice
So, this place has a potential just need to look into Red Spoon for Thais i am sure if they do it they can become very good
