Quite a decent Thai restaurant! It's not authentic, but the food tastes good. First thing that I notice once I stepped into this restaurant was its decoration. Normally restaurants are decorated according to their themes or where the foods come from, including this Thai place. Most of Thai restaurant in any foreign lands normally are decorated nicely and with Thai stuff to attract customers. So, one thing that you can notice whether the owner of the restaurants are Thai is the decoration. What I'm most certain about this is that a restaurant owned by Thai people would not have Buddha statue as a decoration, especially only the head part, because it's considered disrespectful to Buddhism. But this kind of thing is present in "the western society". So this is why I knew from the first step that it's own by Spanish. However, the chef is from Thailand. Coming back to the taste of the food. It was decent, but not authentic. For me, I definitely prefer authentic Thai food, but like other intentional restaurants in Spain they adapted the flavor to suite Spanish taste buds. The quality of food was quite good and fresh. There are two dishes that I recommend: Tom Yum Kung (if you like spicy, you have to tell them) and Khao Pad Saparot (Pineapple Fried Rice). The chicken satay here is so so. I tried Mussamun curry which was okay. Though I haven't tried other types of curry. The service was good. The waiters constantly took care of my table. The restaurant is clean and cozy.

Absolutely fantastic food and cocktails here. One of the best meals I had on this trip to Spain…read more It's basically a fusion of a Thai and Valencian cuisines in a modern setting on the busy Gran Via. Service was great all around. Attractive, friendly, and competent people. I started with the absolutely delicious Ping Pong cocktail, a mix of lychee and passion fruit purées with gin. Wow was that a great drink! I had two. Next I started with three Guillardeaux oysters. They were so plump and sweet. Astounding, actually. I could have made a meal of these if not so expensive (€3.50 each). I also tried a small croquette of Roquefort and spinach that was everything a croquette should be. Next up was an amazing Thai fish cake. It was crunchy and tender and mildly spicy with a nice hit of fresh coriander. It was a starter that I was sad to see disappear so quickly. It's a taste I want to experience again. My main course was a tiradito of local seafood. It's basically a ceviche but they amped up the flavor with a Thai-inspired marinade. The shellfish were amazingly sweet and tender and played well with that sauce. A very generous portion, too. I finished with dessert, a small disc of cheesecake topped with both a caramel sauce and berry purée. Neither was overly sweet. It was surrounded by beautiful chopped, toasted hazelnuts and a crunch derived from coffee. The entire dish worked beautifully. All of this came to €65! Very good value. Whoever is in the kitchen is seriously talented. This place is a winner. Go, eat like Thai royalty, and enjoy!

NOTE: it seems their Yelp address is not updated! Other than that, the easiest 5 stars to ever…read moregive. The new address is Gran Via de les Germanies 34. Came at opening time on a Saturday night and we were only able to get bar seating, where the friendly bartender served us a full menu. The 2 of us started with a sashimi bowl with tuna and salmon of a very high quality, just pure sea flavors with perfect texture. Served on a bed of rice and a soy-based sauce, this was a easy and playful cold appetizer. We next ordered 2 thai fishcakes which floored me. How does a Spanish restaurant do Thai food? This place does it damn well! The prominent lemongrass flavor balanced by other Thai essences (I'm guessing ginger/cilantro root/chilis) was masterfully done, with a very bold overall taste profile (paralleling that of jamon). My favorite. We ordered the seasonal deep fried thai fish as a main, which was seabass when we were there. At 19 Euros for the market rate, it was fair. The whole fish was deep fried to a crisp, rendering the smaller bones edible. Served in a lovely thai sauce (similar to the fishcakes) and smothered with spring onions and chilis. Lastly, the dessert was truly memorable: pumpkin flan with chunks of chili infused apricot, topped with a whipped requeson cheese cream and caramelized and crispy pumpkin seeds! Cocktails were respectful of classic recipe and bold too (pisco sour and a passion fruit /lychee / mint / gin drink). Dinner for 2 with 3 self-selected courses, 4 glasses of wine was 75. Staff spoke some English and were friendly and highly professional.
