We elected to sit inside as we normally do to stay away from the smokers! We looked at the daily buffet $26.50 CHF per person. Not bad for Switzerland, however we opted to order Al La Carte. We picked the chicken Larb and a red curry with chicken and veggies. A small bottle of water and a soda. Total cost $72 CHF. Both dishes arrived and they were pretty. The larb was like no one we had ever had. The chicken was in slices and not finely chopped. The taste was very good but the chicken was not as flavorful as it could have been. The red curry dish had a wonderful taste but wasn't exactly served as described. Described as red curry sauce with bamboo shoots and peppers. Well it also had a bunch of eggplant that we purposely avoided in the other dish and another tiny little squiggly stuff that neither of us liked at all. It didn't have any peppers...oh well, the sauce and chicken made up for the other issues. Service was great and a very nice atmosphere - 5/5 Food Taste - 4/5 Food Cost seemed high for a lunch - 3/5 Total rating - a solid 4/5

Great Thai food! After a week of stuffing our faces with pizza and pasta in southern Switzerland,…read morewe were craving something different. This happened to be the first Thai place we encountered while out on a walk, and it was just what we needed. I had the chicken satay, and it was excellent. Just the right amount of heat, and very flavorful. The mango ice tea was more mango than tea, very refreshing. Service was very good, even with a little bit of a language barrier. Sit outside if the weather permits it! We had a little table surrounded by pretty hanging lights, perfect for a relaxing evening.

Yelp Review 2026 #44:…read more We came to Prik Thai because of multiple factors: it was close to our hotel, we wanted food with flavor, it's highly rated on all review websites, and it had been raining all day. I saw pictures of their Pad Thai and it looked the same as the Pad Thai I would eat in Bangkok. So, I knew what I was going to get even before getting here. We walked past this restaurant several times to/from the hotel and there's always a lot of people. It just has to be good. The restaurant is small with maybe 10 tables. To see the menu and place your order, scan the QR code. Our server brought us our drinks and she asked us if we placed our food order and we had to show her what we ordered. A few minutes later, our food arrived. But we didn't have plates. We asked for plates and the server seemed confused. We were too. Are we supposed to eat straight from the plate the food came in on?!? Chicken Pad Thai: Looked legit. Piping hot. I cut the egg-wrapped pad Thai in half to let the steam out. It had red onions which changed the flavor. This was a cross between pad see ew and pad Thai. It had a smokey/ barbecue-esque flavor to it. The portion was massive - it can be shared by 2 people. Did not finish. 2/5 Spring Rolls: It comes with 3 per order. Piping hot as well. Very oily. All I could taste was oil. Did not finish. 2/5 We waited over 30 minutes after we gave up eating to get our check so we could leave. But all the employees took their dinner break all at the same time. We had to walk to the counter so somebody could acknowledge us. Our server, who was still chewing, asked us if we wanted our leftovers to-go. It wasn't good when it was still hot and fresh. It certainly won't be good cold. My hair and my clothes smelled like cooking oil after.

I was going through…read morerice and Thai food withdrawals while traveling in Switzerland and, in our search, for a place to eat, we stumbled into Prik Thai--and what a find. My husband speaks Thai so that was good but the server spoke some English. We ordered Pad Thai (we usually steer clear of it in the states because they make it too sweet in most Thai restaurants but the server convinced my husband), Massaman curry, chicken and vegetables stir fry, papaya salad, and drunken noodles. Everything was delicious and what we expected, except for the drunken noodles--they were completely different to what we were used to but still very good. I am very glad that the server convinced my husband to get the Pad Thai because it was amazing. My favorite, however, was the Massaman curry; combined with the rice, it was absolute heaven. I was happy. The food is great, prices are very good, and service is quick and friendly. Our family was in their very happy place and ready to explore more of Luzern.

There are actually three Phanat Thai restaurants all within a few feet of each other. This one is upstairs, and is the more presentable version of the downstairs take out café, even with bare walls. There are pictures and artifacts of the old country. Our CHF20.50 pad thai was pretty standard in taste, but the presentation was spectacular. Served in bowl resembling a dragon boat, with 6 medium shrimp on the sides, rice noodles in the center, topped with bean sprouts, with crushed nuts on the edge of the dish, topped with a lemon. Not as good a shrimp as Yun Nan. Asked for medium spicy, but next get high spiciness, to give it more kick, if ordering it again. The CHF22 spicy chicken with rice, came with hot chili peppers, red peppers, green peppers, amid shredded chicken. Topped off with an over easy egg. Good presentation, and one of the best basil chicken dishes I've tasted at a Thai restaurant. Ordered a CHF4 Sprite, otherwise would have paid CHF2, or $2.14, for each glass of tap water!

It's a small place than can accommodate about 24-seats. Base on my US Thai experience, I would say the food is very authentic; just by looking at the ladies cooking in the kitchen.
