Flower stands with freshly cut flowers and an abundance of vegetable crates colored the exterior of the building's grounds. We found an assortment of shops offering meats, condiments, pastries, baked goods, coffee, fresh seafood, pastas, prepared salads, sushi, lunch spots, cured meats, nuts, beer, wine, fresh herbs, sandwiches, caviar, ice cream, cheeses, housewares and gift items; quite the assortment here! The only thing that was difficult to find were non-food gifts for our friends that were actually made in Denmark. Most were manufactured overseas. We stopped and had a wonderful lunch at the very popular Hallernes Smørrebrød, seated at their bar. This market is definitely worth a visit.

It's even slightly cheaper than the other Asian store by Norreport. Definitely appreciate that they have fresh vegetables and the like in the back at fair prices (for CPH standards). They've got lots of frozen items (dim sum, dumplings, fish balls, etc), seasonings, dried noodles - everything you could possibly need. It reminded me of home.
