Great if your travelling and are looking for quick bites or just something to carry along with you for your daily excursions. The place obviously is catering to tourists visiting the downtown area as most folks in there buying stuff when we went we essentially buying similar things. They do also have weekly specials on various items which you can find on their website, which obviously helps to save a buck or two if your traveling on a budget as Copenhagen itself can be rather expensive when compared to other european cities.

Personally I like, that they have a lot of organic products, they change their discounted items weekly and I had never problem about quality of my purchase. This store is organized, clean and seems everything fresh. Even there was a lots of people in the time I was shopping, no big lines in front of cash register. Last few years I can see, that Netto is really caring about their stores. They really taking them one by one and refurbish them. Thumb up from me!

Yesterday I was walking by and thought I should give it a try. The super market is very messy. It looks quite dirty and the entrance looks old and not well kept. The people shopping there were a bit weird. A mix up between inner nørrebro and Christiania would kind of describe. However I was happily surprised with the groceries. There is a large variety of chocolates, ice creams, chips and all the junk food. They also had some cheeses that are not easy to find everywhere and not a bad selection of vegetables/fruits. In general I found products that are not found in other super markets (like chocolate pillow cornflakes!) which would make me go back at some point. Aldi could not become my favourite everyday super market, but it could be my getaway for more variety. Cause let's face it, super markets in Denmark have less variety than in most countries I have been. So secrets like this are good to know!

The have very specific culture and gastronomy, connected to (mostly) Orthodox religion. Usually I buy cheese, wine, prshut (cured meat) or sweets there. I especially enjoy buying the Napolitanky- They taste almost like 20 years ago! I was very happy to find this place a few years ago. I'm not sure this is a shop where Danes will regularly go, but before you travel to the Balkans, you should check it out, and educate yourself about food and beverages, so you don't struggle there. You can also rent Balkan DVDs, but if you don't speak a Slavic language, it probably doesn't have much value for you. My rating is high, because there are thousands of ethnic shops, but this one really stuck with a concept, so you can not find anything else there except Slavic products! The service is not the most outgoing and helpful, but this is part of after war syndrome. Hope you enjoy what they have to offer!

Must go place if you are from ex-yu, and if not jusk ask the staff for help.
