At night they have ferry lights and I'm not gonna lie...they got me! Plus, not only do they have outside seating but they have a few tables right out front that are like little huts and I couldn't resist! We ordered a couple of different dishes. Starting with two appetizers, unfortunately I can't remember what one of them was! But we did order the soft shell crab and that was pretty good, I don't think fried soft-shell crab can really be bad though :P . I had been craving fried rice so I went with that and it was good. It wasn't the best fried rice I'd ever had but it did hit the spot and it was a very large serve so even after sharing I had some to take home for lunch the next day. My dining companion had the Moreton Bay bugs and he thought they were also good. Both dishes came out plated quite nicely as well :) If I was going for Thai down on the coast I would definitely go back, I especially like the outdoor seating at night - cute ambiance!

The decor was quite cool and definitely had a very Thai feel to it. The elephant chairs were incredible! Good menu selection with lots of curries, options for all meats, seafood & plenty of vegetarian. Our entree of chicken satay skewers was served quite quickly. They were piping hot and quite tasty. Not my favourite of all time, but still very good. We ordered the Phanang curry and Pad Thai to share as our mains and both were delicious. So much food though - definitely regretted ordering the starter as we were so full. I usually prefer the noodle dishes, but I have to say, the curry was yummmm! Would happily go back there. I'm super picky when it comes to Asian food but especially Thai food. We've spent a bit of time in Thailand and so often you come across crap versions of it, but this was good! There's a reasonable selection of typical rice and noodle dishes to choose from the menu as well as a selection of already cooked dishes in the bain marie. But whenever I come here, I typically go for the beef curry soup noodle, which is curry beef taken from their bain marie, mixed with some kind of stock and thrown together with egg noodles and fresh veggies consisting mainly of coriander and bean shoots. The curry is quite delicious and sufficiently spicy (you can ask for hot...or mild or medium depending on your preference) and pretty satisfying quantity wise. And while the beef curry soup noodle is typically all I consume here, based on people I bring with me, the other dishes (such as pad thai) are equally as delicious.
