While in the US Asian massagge usually refers to Chinese style, in Portugal Thai massage seems to dominate. Fine by me as I enjoy Thai massage and it's hard to find in the US. For the uninitiated, Thai massage is like the opposite end of the spectrum from Swedish. It always makes me wonder about my masochism.
The price is very affordable, about 40 Euros for an hour's massage. If Thai is not your thing they offer other types such as zen, deep tissue and foot reflexology too.
The room is spacious, clean, and not at all dingy. There was a little communication problem but once they figured out what massage we wanted, the therapy began.
