Just arrived, so far so good. The place is very nice.....
La C.

Stopped by for Sunday dinner and had a blast... The food was excellent and wait staff was very good. The food was cooked perfect. When the main dishes were served, we were so excited to taste the food and for got to take some photos This means I must return and I definitely will return.

Pad Thai

This place satiated my Thai craving while in Germany. It definitely hit the spot. Food was pretty good. Portions were decent. Menu is quite large with many options. Service was really good - fast and friendly. Wonderful ambiance and environment. A German-English menu is available; plus, the staff speaks English, so it is quite helpful. I went for lunch (13:00-14:00) in the mid-week after walking around Böblingen, and it was not busy. Other parties seemed pleased with their experience. Overall, the food, although not necessarily the best I've had, was filling and satisfying. I will certainly return if in Stuttgart as my Thai cravings must be met. I ordered the Pad Thai - good, but I wish it had stronger fish sauce flavor and a bit more sweeter. Great presentation. Had an adequate amount of chicken and shrimp.

#54-the Chicken was fresh and the veggies still crispy

My first realllll food in over 7 months-but don't let my lack of culinary experience in a while fool you. This place is legitimately delicious. I ordered a Chardonnay and one of the Chicken entrees (#54-the Thai basil enticed me). The Chardonnay was top notch and the food was prepared rather quickly. The presentation definitely brought to all to a higher level. They delivered a pot of rice for the table to share-and it was perfectly prepared. Sticky-but not toooo sticky. The dishes we all ordered came out as they were prepared-and my took the longest, but not too much longer than everyone else. You could definitely taste the fish sauce in my dish-and it was pretty Laotian tasting, if that is a thing. The chicken was very fresh as well as the vegetables. The eggplant and other variety were sautéed but still crispy, giving an overall freshness to the dish that gave me life. The location is right on an accessible corner and the atmosphere just brings this place to a higher level. Strongly recommend!

** They take Credit Cards // parking is atrocious // very cozy restaurant ( not pram/stroller friendly)** I really wanted to love this place. I heard great things. Ambiance and friendliness of the staff was great ( although they were playing Chinese music). That was about it. The food was simply not good. I ordered a traditional Thai salad - Yum Nau- spicy beef with cucumbers, etc. the sauce was watery and the beef was over cooked. It was like eating saw dust. There was no spice whatsoever ( ordered extra/Thai hot). I had ordered a Thai tea, but when it came out it was lemon flavored green tea accompanied by two cups of creamer. That is not Thai tea! I had also ordered Hot and sour soup -Tom Yum - and it was so bland. No hint of Thai spice. The bamboo shoots and ginger root might as well have been rocks. Still on the hunt for a good Thai restaurant in this part of the world.

We met here for our monthly dinner. The food was good and in regular portions. I had a cocktail in a big cup that they set it on fire. I forgot the name but it was fruity and not strong. They have menus in English that's always a plus. Overall the food was good and the drinks were average nothing really impressive. The customer service was decent and we didn't wait long for our food.

Squid with mushroom and vegetables in Thai basil suace

This place is delicious. I went there by myself on a Sunday night and they were packed. The decor is beautiful. The menu comes in English and German. The wait staff speaks German, Chinese, and some English. I got the deep fried eggplant with shrimp appetizer. It was tender and fluffy. The sauce paired perfectly with it. For the main course, I had the squid in Thai basil sauce. It was the perfect amount of spicy and sweet, it really allowed the flavor of the dish to come through.

Tasty red vegetarian curry! I was quite happily surprised!

You can tell when cultures don't work for tips. Great food. Customer service a bit stiff.

Service can get a big slow because it gets BUSY really quick and it's mostly Americans from the local base who don't speak much German.

Wow!!! What a gem! The service and the food is top shelf. Relaxing and quiet dining area. Not 5…read morestars only because it is small but the food and service outshine that easily! I had the traditional Pad Thai. Perfectly seasoned and spiced to my request. My friend had the white curry. Just as delicious. I will definitely be back to enjoy this awesome restaurant!! No English menu but the owner/operator speaks English and German very well. If you are thinking Thai is Stuttgart come here!

My FAVORITE Thai restaurant in Stuttgart! Delicious and authentic Thai food you must absolutely…read moretaste! (IMO good Asian food that's worth its price is hard to find) THEY MOVED: Friends took us here in 2013 when it was called Floating Market & located on Theodor-Heuss-Straße 14. We were so bummed when we thought they closed. But we found out they moved in 2017 and changed their name to AYUTTHAYA Bar & Restaurant on Gerberstraße 5A. The food is still delicious and has that spicy Thai kick to it. Smaller space than before, but still clean and lovely. FOOD: My husband always orders pad thai, and this was one of the best ones he's had. I had #41 Jungle curry ___ (can't remember the rest). It's not the coconut curry I thought. It was more like a sauté sauce with lemongrass, but I'm so glad I picked it! Definitely will come back!
