However, after receiving my food, I discovered that it was actually quite good. While I wouldn't describe it as amazing, the taste was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, the portion size was generous, and I had a lot of trouble finishing it - but that's definitely not a complaint!

Only to find STAPLE PINS in my mouth as I take a bite of the naan that we ordered. Needless to say we feel really lucky to have not ended up in A&E, especially with kids, infants and elderly. To avoid any scene on the table, I reach out to the reception desk to speak with the manager or person in charge with the piece of metal in my hand. A man appeared after a few minutes wait to literally jump to take those pins from my hand before even letting me speak, not knowing I have taken pictures. And now as I request to speak with the manager, it was a joke to see the commotion in the back trying to figure out who will or should role play a manager to deal with the situation. As a guy turns up claiming to be the Manager, the least I expected was an apology first to start the conversation, but of course not. Instead, without even letting me speak, he tries to offer me a 'smallish cake with a candle' as a compensation, just because we were celebrating an occasion that he had no clue about. I literally had to ask him to shut up! and chose not to speak any further. We ended up spending over £300 for an awful experience that literally left me frustrated and worried, thinking what if the kids, elderly or even anyone else around swallowed that sharp staple pin....yet no apology was offered. For some reason as I write this review, it upsets me even more bring back that whole experience in my mind. Mixed starters was great, then came the main course, thai green curry, beef and veg and a mixed veg side dish and rice. Plenty of rice, but to be honest the other dishes are what you'd get per person in any other restaurant, but these were between 4 of us, so we had to eat bearing in mind there was 3 others to eat also. Quite uncomfortable. We then had deserts (not included in price). My husband had a Ferrero ice cream, so when he found crunchy bits in it he thought it was nuts but no it was broken glass!!!! The edge of the bowl had been smashed. We immediately pointed this out to the staff who seen bewildered . My husband went to the restrooms to spit out the glass and rinse his mouth. They replaced the desert which he then enjoyed. We followed this with the included coffees which were also good. We were however extremely surprised when the bill came and we had been charged for everything. At a minimum I would have thought they'd have discounted my husband's desert and maybe as a gesture of goodwill maybe even his whole meal. But no. We had to convince them it was the right thing to do. But they said ohh it was an accident, but ok by you, but one of your customers ingested broken glass. We were made to feel like it was our fault that we'd done it on purpose. What for £6 of a £180 bill??? Shame but we won't be returning.
