She had wipes on the side table by the bed which again I don't know if it was sanitized because I'm sure other people have used those wipes to clean up. First off, I meant to write this review last week when I met with Dr. Llorente. I was just going…read morethrough so many emotions at the time after she diagnosed me when I went undiagnosed for more than 2 1/2yrs by other doctors. I was very sick for a while. Joint pain, fatigue, hair loss, uncontrollable weight gain, felt cold all the time to where my toe nails looked blue, and everything in my body hurt. I saw soooo many doctors from multiple primary's (I kept changing), endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, internist, 2 rheumatologists and any other "ist" out there. Only thing I found out was that my blood work showed an auto immune disease but they never figured out what! I even asked to get tested for the MTHFR gene mutation and not one doctor knew what that was and Dr. Llorente knew everything about it! I tested positive for that after insisting to my old primary care that I need the test! I had a cancer scare due to a large hard mass on my left ovary and now fluid filled cysts on my right and a fibroid. My sister battled ovarian cancer this past year so I was freaked out. Then my lymph nodes in my armpits were swollen recently and after an exam they wanted to do a biopsy which I refused because it can spread cancer. THEN I found this amazing, wonderful, kind hearted, gentle yet confident woman who has changed my life and has given me hope that one day I am going to heal and be myself again! Dr. Llorente order a ton of blood work for me.. 36 vials to be exact. I had an appt with my primary shortly after who insulted all the bloodwork dr Llorente was getting done for me and it was that moment I knew that I found my soul doctor if that makes sense. Lol someone that actually gave a crap to connect the dots and THAT she did. She found that I was both low and deficient on most of my blood work meaning most of my health problems were from that! BUT I also have a Candida Overgrowth in my gut (that is causing all the deficiencies) that other doctors kept dismissing that it was from my IBS. I've had mucous in my stools for years and probably candida for years unknowingly! It's made me so sick to where all of my symptoms I mentioned earlier are the cause of the candida! And maybe the cause of my auto immune disease, my mass which I spent $2,000 in hospital bills to remove, and my swollen lymph nodes they nearly biopsied and charged an arm and a leg for. Dr Llorente doesn't just tell you you thyroid is fine because your tsh, etc is normal..she connects all the dots and is very very knowledgeable unlike most doctors who only know their speciality! Come to find out she also practices functional medicine which is a major major plus in finding out what is wrong and how to truly treat the problem rather than just the symptom! She didn't prescribe me a bunch of pills! She spent an hour with me explaining everything I detail which helped me to better treat my issues. In my 46yrs I have never had a doctor like her! I truly just love her even as a person! And to top it off her office staff is a gem! They are so welcoming, they smile and just very kind people which is also rare. If I could give more stars I would! I can't imagine her getting anything less! And to the reviewer below, Dr. Llorente never pushed any of her supplements on me. I'm fact I didn't even know she had everything I bought and found out after leaving her office when I had a question about a supplement. Also, she always wore a mask around me so I'm not sure how legit that review is. My review is 100% honest and I wouldn't have it any other way! Also I got a flu shot 20yrs ago and nearly died. I used to be a pill popper and realized all these prescription meds ruin and wreak havoc on your organs and immune system. Treat the problem! The organs!
