It was my first time getting a prenatal massage and Melanie did such a wonderful job targeting all the areas I pointed out and more. Melanie has great energy and a soothing voice. She showed me options of either laying on my side and back or using the pregnant cushion that has holes for the belly and boobs which I decided to use. It was comfortable and safe to use. When she started she used a massage oil that had a lovely mix of essential oils and a sage spray around me. The aroma combined with the calming ambiance in the room; the low lighting, zen music and sound bowl at the end made me feel absolutely relaxed and rejuvenated. Melanie used a good amount of pressure and always checked in on me if I needed any adjustments. The space she rents out of is very clean, cozy and has a cute, vintage interior design since a lot of the decor and furniture is thrifted by the owner. I went two times to get a (much more expensive!) Hydrafacial in a different spa next to my house, but they were ineffective against the one big whitehead I had. Huong got the stubborn whitehead out in one facial and with minimal discomfort. After a facial from Huong, my skin is glowing, and I get so many compliments. She even noticeably lightened up my brown spots (which hadn't noticeably changed after three Clear + Brilliant laser treatment$$$). Huong works hard through the entire facial. While she lets product sit on your skin, she stays busy massaging your arms/legs. The environment is welcoming. I love the warm bed and calming background music.
