I really wanted to be able to give this a five-star review, but I ate here twice and the…read moreexperiences were vastly different. The first time, I came about 8pm and was promptly seated. I ordered a glass of wine and the duck with vegetables in a light soy sauce. I also ordered the Thai special dessert, taking home half my dinner, as it was copious. Service was excellent. The duck that night (and as leftovers) was fresh, tender, and tasty. The dessert was also very good. I'd sent a picture to my family in the area and they mentioned how much they like Thai, so I invited them for a meal. I made a reservation for the following Thursday night at 6pm. We were seated quickly and promptly asked for our orders. My one family member ordered what I'd had the week before and his wife had asked for a recommendation for a dish without soy sauce, so she was recommended a fried duck dish that came with three side sauces. I ordered the red curry coconut duck dish. Our food came out within 10 minutes. My duck was a bit dry this time and the sauce was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn't. Hers was even worse. Her fried duck was too dry to really pick up easily with her fork. I could tell she was unhappy, but she didn't ask to send it back. She mentioned to me several times, that where they normally go, it's very fresh. She told me later that even her fried vegetables were soft and not crisp, thus not recently fried. His meal he said was fine, although again the duck was far more dry than it had been for me just a few days earlier. It occurred to us that it was likely leftovers from the midday meal time and that my meal at 8pm previously had been fresh. This was very disappointing, as it was not an inexpensive meal. The photos I took are of my first meal and my second one. Theirs are not depicted. I advise anyone going to choose a later dinner hour, to ensure peak freshness, although I cannot guarantee that.

Perfect spot in the middle of the Island town - Lindau. Indoor and outdoor seating. Recommend…read moreoutdoor since it sits in a beautiful quad with 15th century town tall as your backdrop. Staff was bomb.com and the facility was nice, clean and convenient. Food was delicious with large portions. Probably the best tempura ever, anywhere. All three dishes (duck w/tempura, chicken Pad Thai, LAAB and a couple of drinks) €50.

We eat Thai food in our home at least once a week and rice, at least 3 times. I was going through…read morerice and Thai food withdrawals while traveling in Switzerland and, in our search, for a place to eat, we stumbled into Prik Thai--and what a find. My husband speaks Thai so that was good but the server spoke some English. We ordered Pad Thai (we usually steer clear of it in the states because they make it too sweet in most Thai restaurants but the server convinced my husband), Massaman curry, chicken and vegetables stir fry, papaya salad, and drunken noodles. Everything was delicious and what we expected, except for the drunken noodles--they were completely different to what we were used to but still very good. I am very glad that the server convinced my husband to get the Pad Thai because it was amazing. My favorite, however, was the Massaman curry; combined with the rice, it was absolute heaven. I was happy. The food is great, prices are very good, and service is quick and friendly. Our family was in their very happy place and ready to explore more of Luzern.

Yelp Review 2026 #44:…read more We came to Prik Thai because of multiple factors: it was close to our hotel, we wanted food with flavor, it's highly rated on all review websites, and it had been raining all day. I saw pictures of their Pad Thai and it looked the same as the Pad Thai I would eat in Bangkok. So, I knew what I was going to get even before getting here. We walked past this restaurant several times to/from the hotel and there's always a lot of people. It just has to be good. The restaurant is small with maybe 10 tables. To see the menu and place your order, scan the QR code. Our server brought us our drinks and she asked us if we placed our food order and we had to show her what we ordered. A few minutes later, our food arrived. But we didn't have plates. We asked for plates and the server seemed confused. We were too. Are we supposed to eat straight from the plate the food came in on?!? Chicken Pad Thai: Looked legit. Piping hot. I cut the egg-wrapped pad Thai in half to let the steam out. It had red onions which changed the flavor. This was a cross between pad see ew and pad Thai. It had a smokey/ barbecue-esque flavor to it. The portion was massive - it can be shared by 2 people. Did not finish. 2/5 Spring Rolls: It comes with 3 per order. Piping hot as well. Very oily. All I could taste was oil. Did not finish. 2/5 We waited over 30 minutes after we gave up eating to get our check so we could leave. But all the employees took their dinner break all at the same time. We had to walk to the counter so somebody could acknowledge us. Our server, who was still chewing, asked us if we wanted our leftovers to-go. It wasn't good when it was still hot and fresh. It certainly won't be good cold. My hair and my clothes smelled like cooking oil after.
