He told me it is the best doner in Berlin and that I needed to order chicken with garlic sauce. Who was I to stray from those orders? The bread itself is what made this way better than what we get in the states. It almost tasted fried, and it was delicious. The chicken was almost carmalized on the outside and really tasty. The salad was crisp and fresh. The whole thing came to 3 Euros. Really just impossible to beat.

I got the Berliner curry wurst with fries and it comes smothered in tomato sauce and mayo. The sauce is tangier and sweeter than ketchup and pairs so well with the sausages! They had so many options and are surprisingly vegan friendly with tofu and vegan mayo options. A must try if you're in Berlin!!!

The sausage is flavorful on its own, and drowning it in ketchup does not make it better (1 star off) and the sprinkles of curry powder gets drowned in the ketchup making it obsolete too (1 star off). Vegan currywurst is an option, but I did not like it. There are a few high-top tables with standing room only, and customers are cordial in sharing the small space. They accept credit cards. I find the tacky murals featuring Cold War era politicians more entertaining than the currywurst.
