My niece and nephew have been coming here for swim lessons (since toddler age) and gymnastics and my brother and parents have been raving since day one. It's clean, spacious, and the staff and coaches truly could not be more friendly and attentive. This party was for a 4 year old with about 13 children in attendance and their parents, plus family. Scottie and Laney were on it-super helpful with any and everything and were great with the kids. Every adult in attendance commented on their friendly professionalism. I don't have children of my own, but if the love my niece and nephew have for this place says anything, it must be great (I mean, the 4 year old wanted her party here)! If you're in search for a place for lessons for your children or a party place for kids, this was a great deal with the upmost friendly staff.

My kid went from moving his arms to basically doing less than he was doing before. They have him swim while other students swim, when he's not a strong swimmer, which is very dangerous. No one knows what is going on. The swim lessons never start on time or end at the right time. Every time I ask the manager they give me an answer and nothing ever changes . The owner needs to seriously make some changes before they loose more customers.

I don't know much…read moreabout gymnastics but is seemed that they had a pretty reasonable collective of things needed to learn the sport. The kids seemed to have a blast and it was hard to make them leave. Having been to other gymnastic gyms in Lubbock without AC, I was very excited that this gym was nice and cool. If you have to come here with kids, I think you'll enjoy watching them.

Zia Elite was the place to be when it opened, but it has been going downhill for almost a year now…read more We don't go there anymore unless it's for a birthday party (which we had last weekend). The floors were wet and the carpet tiles were coming up due to the water that leaked underneath them. The entire building smelled like mildew! It was almost overpowering. The roof had already been leaking for a while. Mold is now growing in spots! All the kids went home with wet socks & wet booties. The ball pit was partially deflating due to the holes in it. The mesh ceiling was torn off with half of it dangling into the ball pit. My child held up a ball and it was so disgusting. Once I noticed how awful the ball pit was, my kids and the other families avoided it for the rest of the party. But seriously? EWW! The inside of the pit needs attention: it's a huge safety concern. There are exposed wires on the ball merry-go-round thing... and it's still open for play. All the jumpy houses were dirty and duct-taped! Zia Elite needs a major facelift.

Other then having a 4 y/o that enjoys gymnastics I know nothing about gymnastics... can't tell you…read morea move, name an apparatus, or name an Olympic gymnasts. However, I can say that Rock Solid is about as good as they come. We've had our daughter at a couple different gyms and so far this one is the best. She is 4 -- (so far) she doesn't want to be competitive or pressured to do riskier things, and this is largely why we like Rock Solid because while they are very competitive in some of the programs, they also let the kids have fun. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful with the little ones. You get a sense that they actually enjoy the time they spend with the kids and that is worth alot. Unlike other gyms in Lubbock, the entire building is air conditioned so parents and kiddos can enjoy the time more comfortably. The only thing I don't like about RS is that the sight lines are the greatest. Because of the way the building is oriented, it can be difficult to see everything your little one is doing. Since they rotate around, this is not a huge problem but something that can get on your nerves.
