I paid TexCare Lawncare $11,300 to replace the turf in my yard and Robert left me with a worse mess than what I started with. On top of that, he left a ton of debris on our street (turf, soil, gravel) that the homeowner association is now demanding that I take responsibility for. You should never hire this firm or Robert to do anything. He is irresponsible, whiny and full of excuses. He will refuse to take responsibility for any of his decisions. Matt Duncan I would NEVER recommend using TexCare Lawn Care for ANY service and here's why. I hired Robert (owner of the company) to complete two tasks: remove the massive amount of weeds from my yard and then have them hauled away. He came and assessed my yard, I asked him for a quote. He said if the work took his crew one day, it would cost $1,120 WORST CASE SCENARIO. He said if the work took two days, it would cost $1,680 WORST CASE SCENARIO. When it came time for he and his crew to do the work, they completed phase 1 of the job and it took his crew eight hours. They completed phase one of the job satisfactorily. When worked out mathematically based on what he quoted me, this job was supposed to cost $1,120. It took ONE day to complete, not two. Regardless, he still requested the full $1,680 for two days of work. I was able to gather $1,350 out of complete desperation to pay him, which is more than I should have had to pay based on his quote. The work was completed on a Saturday and the dump was closed so he promised he would come back and have the massive pile of debris removed by Monday. It's now Friday of the following week and the massive pile of debris is still in my driveway--making my yard look worse than it did before he and his crew did his job. I've made multiple attempts to contact him in an attempt to finally get this unsightly pile of vegetation removed. His response, "I paid a guy $200 to remove it and he hasn't done it, there's nothing I can do." Robert refuses to pay someone to come remove the debris since the man he hired failed to complete phase two of the job. Now my yard looks worse than it did before he and his men began their work and I'm out $1,350. Robert is a dishonest businessman. He will bait and switch you, and not complete the work he agreed to do. Never use TexCare Lawn Care unless you enjoy paying more than the agreed-upon amount and not having the agreed-upon work finished. He will promise you up and down that he has the best rates of anyone around and this is not true. He will lie to you about the price. I am an extremely dissatisfied customer and Robert has completely ceased communication with me since I live in Utah and he moved to Texas. He has done absolutely NOTHING to remedy this situation. He essentially told me the work will never be completed, and now I am being threatened with eviction from my house again--the entire reason I hired Robert and TexCare Lawn Care in the first place. Thanks a lot Robert for being an honest businessman, charging prices you agreed to, and completing the work you promised to complete. NOT. Never hire TexCare Lawn Care unless all of this sounds appealing to you. Seek help from another company. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company and my best advice is to STAY AWAY. Hopefully Robert can learn some better business ethics in the future... read more

Went away for a month that happened to get a lot of rainfall. I came home to a jungle in my backyard. I contacted several companies for quotes. Robert responded personally via email within an hour of me requesting a quote (on a Saturday night!) and came and looked at my yard and gave me a quote the next morning. I agreed to the quote, and he did the work right then. The job done was awesome. He and his team took the unruly jungle back to a properly manicured lawn. Very happy with their hard work and customer service. Will definitely use them Highly recommend. read more
