8 oz Hand-Cut Sirloin*

This is a great Texas Roadhouse! We had a wonderful server and plenty of rolls and peanuts to eat. We ordered 2 cheese fries for the table which were delicious but a little too greasy. My sirloin was cooked well and seasoned well! It was tender and delicious. The apple sauce on the side was very liquidy, but also sweet and really good. Cool ambiance with CNU signs and other cool neon light ups. It gets crowded, so make a reservation!

We stop in once a year and always have a great meal and this visit was no different. Food was all good and my husband's steak was cooked perfectly. Our server was kind and friendly and made sure we had all that we needed. It was a busy Saturday night, but used the call ahead wait-list and only waited about 15 minutes for our table once we arrived.

After going to the movies on last Friday, Sophia and I ate lunch here. If I mentioned it before, Texas Roadhouse is one of the few franchise spots we go to. Rarely has there been a time when we left here unsatisfied. Would this visit ruin the experience? The restaurant was half full when we walked in so grabbing a seat took no time at all. TVs were on with sports on the screen and country music played throughout. It was a minute until we had service but it gave us enough time to .ake our selections. We picked fried pickles for appetizers and for my main course, I chose the smothered chicken entree, which is grilled chickem covered in either gravy or jack cheese (I chose jack cheese) and sauteed mushrooms and onions along with Caesar salad and steak fries for the two sides. The meal was good overall. Sophia ate most of the apps which tasted fine. The chicken was well cooked with the toppings complimenting each bite. The salad and fries were perfect sides for the dish, which I did take home for leftovers for the evening. Definitely a fulfilling meal for yours truly. We will be back here the next time an opportunity rises. Till next time :)

If Texas Roadhouse don't do nothing else right.... The rolls are supposed to be good..... so why was this Texas Roadhouse serving rolls that look like dry pancakes at prime time on a Saturday night?! We thought maybe the first basket of rolls were just old and dry, but then they brought more bad rolls. Disappointing. So we ordered a lot of different meals. I got the three piece catfish. Two pieces looked good but they gave me a third piece that looked like broken off breading. Gross. I had to ask for another piece. Our server Destiny was so lovely. Shout out to her for being so helpful.

If you're in the Hampton/Newport News area and are looking for a restaurant that's open after 10:00 pm, Texas Roadhouse is your place. I love it here! The portions are large and the rolls are to die for. My go-to were the Chicken Critters with a side salad. The tenders ranked well on the flavor and super great on the comfort. And did I mention the rolls??!!! Service can range anywhere between excellent to average. However, due to amount of customers dining, it is easy to see how hard working the servers are. The ambiance is casual, lively, and comfortable. I love that the local college sports team is represented. Two thumbs up.

I really didn't want to give this place a 1 star but my prime rib had so many problems. But first, the wait was pretty quick at 10 minutes. We got refills quickly and the cactus blossom was great. The place was really loud and packed so we had to repeat orders a few times. Both the sirloin and prime rib were served room temperature to cold. Our server thankfully took the prime rib back to reheat but as soon as I got my prime rib back, it smelled like wet dog. I was hoping it was just the smell but the taste was that but stronger. I forced myself to swallow to at least give it a try by the smell and flavor were overwhelming. Thankfully the prime rib was removed from our bill but I still feel sick to my stomach from how it was.

Have been back many many times since my last review 7 years ago. Really can't complain about anything service is always good and so is the food. The place hasn't changed minus the fact no more peanuts and the peanut shells that used to be all over the floors lol. The only reason I'm giving this rating a 4 stars is the Kraft Mac n Cheese they serve is not acceptable for Mac n cheese when you dine out.

Situated right under the York River bridge, not far from the Yorktown museum, is the cutest village. I'm sorry, they can't claim it as part of the original Yorktown but it is cute. There is a lovely river walk...hence the name of the restaurant. They have some of the BEST views in the area being right there. We had reservations however it being the busiest day for restaurants, we had to chill our heels for a few moments before being taken back. I was more than ok with this as we ended up getting a window seat (see above for reference). Thank heavens they put the name of the server in the receipt cuz y'all know my Swiss cheese brain. Cara was the wonderful server who took care of us. She was always there ready for me to get my mum good & spoiled. Super friendly and very helpful. The buffet, it was impressive for a buffet and while not a big buffet, it was specialized. First up were 3 different kinds of salads, then a fruit platter, and bagels & cream cheese. They had a raw bar with shrimp & oysters next, then breakfast stuff (eggs, potatoes bacon etc) mac & cheese, garlic mashed taters & then a carving station with turkey, ham & lamb. Finally a small but respectful dessert table. If you couldn't find something to fill you, you weren't looking. The single sour note of the buffet was the salmon and Mac & cheese. I'll know better next time. Overall the River Walk has come back with perfect timing and style. I highly recommend a visit. Parking is a pain but patience will help

When I found out they were having a set menu for Vday I called the week of and we were able to switch our reservations to Friday February 13th. I downloaded the InKiND app as well and they gave me a $50 off discount if you spend minimum $150. The open table app did have a $20 per person fee for reservations and that will be applied to the final bill. Our reservations were at 4pm and we arrived early and the parking area is ample with a parking garage and some street parking. We started walking to the restaurant at about 355pm. This time of the year seems to slower with ot being cold. Once inside we were greeted by the young ladies up front. We were offered a table or booth and we chose a table. We did sit at a table with the view of the water which was nice. Jason our server came over within seconds to pour us water and take our drink orders. We both wanted sweet tea with lemon. Since we knew ahead of time what we were ordering, we gave our appetizers orderes first. We ordered the soup of the day which was the she crab soup. It is highly recommended. We only ordered a cup and not a bowl because we were unsure of how it tasted. The Caesar salad had no anchovie flavor like we are use to and was just medicore. We ordered the meatballs which had lamb and pork in it. They were juicy, tender and just needed a little more seasoning. The Calamari was fried to perfection for me and could've used a pinch of salt. The sweet tea was everything and I would recommend it. For the main entrees, we chose the shrimp and scallop risotto and the beef braised Ragau. There were two scallops and four grilled shrimp and few asparagus with some chopped up bacon. This dish I highly recommend as well. The beef was tender, seasoned and pasta was cooked perfect. Overall, this is a nice and quiet place to dine at anytime. I would recommend and will definitely return again. Jason was on point with his promptness.

It's been at least a year since visiting TD because it's somewhat of a lengthy drive from where I live so, when passing by it's a convenient food option. So glad I stopped and revisited. My visit was mid afternoon with only a handful of customers in the place. I was instantly greeted with a friendly smile and hello, said I wanted to order a to-go and grab a beer as I waited. Melody at the bar was very friendly and accommodating as she served up a beer and walked me thru my food questions and order. Once I got home, it was chow time. The whole rack of ribs was deliciously moist, tender and flavorful as was the pulled pork I ordered for sandwiches. The sides included mayo based slaw (they have both vinegar and mayo slaw choices) and collard greens. The slaw was fresh and good but, the collards were very good! I should have also order the baked beans but was an oversight. I'll order the beans next time for sure and there will be a next time sooner than later. My late lunch/early dinner to-go was a delicious meal. Two Drummers staff is friendly, the food is very good and, if stopping to eat in the restaurant or to just have a beer/drink at the bar, the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Definitely a good family owned business to patronize!

Initially we were told…read morethere would be a set 3 course menu because of the size of the dinner party but upon arrival they were out of many things on that menu. They were also out of the snake river Wagyu ribeye and strip steak. We were told they didn't receive a shipment of meat. The food was really good regardless of that, luckily they had three orders of lamb chops left so some of us ordered the rest of that. I like that when you order a steak it already comes with two sides. Other steakhouses you would have to order sides à la carte. The cocktails were amazing and service was great. Only thing that was a little weird was we had two birthdays and asked the manager if they happened to do a complimentary birthday dessert or something for the two birthday guest. He responded politely with we don't do any birthday desserts but you can order champagne since it's a celebration. Mind you it's a party of 12 and each couple's bill was at least 250+. Nonetheless, we had a great time and money was well spent, definitely worth trying out!

I had walked past this place over a dozen times, always thinking it seemed a bit expensive. I finally decided to try it and confirmed that the prices were indeed high, which can be perfectly acceptable if the food quality matches the cost. Unfortunately, it didn't. I ordered the burger because it was the least expensive entrée on the menu at $24. While it wasn't bad, it certainly didn't justify the price. I'm not completely certain, but I strongly suspect the patty had been previously frozen. The bun also felt like a standard packaged brioche bun rather than something fresh or house-made. My buddy ordered a steak that cost nearly $100, but it looked like it had been cooked in a pan with little care or attention to detail. Presentation and preparation simply didn't match the premium price point. But he was given a tray of fancy salts to use on the steak? We also tried a flight of their three Old Fashioneds, and each one missed the mark. The Black Forest Old Fashioned tasted more like a cherry-forward cocktail than a whiskey drink, and their house Old Fashioned, which included Grand Marnier, came across more like a soda than a balanced, spirit-forward cocktail. Overall, while the food and drinks were decent, they fell well short of justifying the high prices. At this price point, I expected significantly higher quality, attention to detail, and execution. The saving grace was the wonderful and kind staff that work there. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to help guide you through your decisions with patience, which I would expect at this kind of restaurant.
