I asked Michael Ortiz to help me with a certain apartment but he was no help at all. Asked me to go in to the office when I told him I just wanted a name of an apartment. I was willing to go to the apartment knowing I'd get approved and give them his name for the help. I honestly wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I have never worked with a apartheid locator before and now I know why. I got a number off a Craigslist add a couple of months ago. I explained my situation to Jason O and how my boyfriend has a criminal background. Jason told me he could get me into a apartment it may be not as nice as I want, but he could get us both in but we would have to give him 300.00. Well we needed a place so we Gave him the money and saw two not so nice places. I called apartments now and they told me locators are not suppose to charge!!! Broker/Owner Gilbert Costello of Texas Relo Experts also owns the moving company In and Out Movers which they provide complimentary 2 hours when using their apartment locating services. I went through TRE to find a new apartment and used his moving company In and Out Movers on Aug 4, 2018. During the move my couch was damaged (dropped going up stairs and hitting rails/door frame) by the movers. I have been trying for 3 months now as of 11/4/18 to have Gilbert repair my couch but have not been successful. I have sent texts with the photos of my couch multiple times over the last 3 months. He has returned maybe 1 out of 10 calls, texts. Bottom line my couch has still not been repaired. I am very certain it should not take 3 months for the moving company to have a couch damaged by their movers to get repaired. I will not be using or recommending these businesses read more

I decided to come to the Texas Relocation Experts location yesterday as I was looking for an apartment with really no luck. It's in a shopping center that is fairly new so I assumed that I had made the right decision. I know nothing about apartment hunters so just figured I'd walk in, give them my information or talk to someone. I walked in and there was quite a few people working in there and there were some people being helped. I stood for a few minutes thinking someone would greet me or help me right away. Or at least let me know they'll be with me, but no one did so I just sat down in the chairs they provided. I waited for about ten minutes and no one came up to greet me or anything. I left and was really disappointed. I thought it was extremely rude no one came to greet me or just let me know they'd be with me in x amount of minutes or whatever. I've found a different apartment locator thankfully and they actually want my service. read more

Looking for 2 apartments at the moment in a certain school district. Stopped by because it has been difficult & the move is coming up soon. The gentleman was nice enough, took the information, showed us what he had on his computer, made a couple of calls to determine availability, and made a few judgement calls related to location and amenities. All of this I found helpful. However, I was expecting him to take me out & show me a few sites, as I have experienced in the past with other "apartment finders". Instead I got a print out & was sent on my way, with the expectation I mention his name so he will receives a commission. Maybe I am in the wrong business. That was a pretty good wage for a half hour work, especially since it was for not 1, but 2 apartments. Of course that is all dependent on which place I choose based on my own leg work :) read more

We tried one place on our own and was turned down because of our credit (both bad because of divorces). We hated wasting $100 for nothing. We called T.R.E. Darlene took us 2 different places and was extremely kind, helpful, professional, encouraging and understanding. My brother called looking for an apartment and the agent he spoke to was adamant that there was no way he could find an apartment that would accept him.. so my brother called Apartments Now and they were able to find an apartment without any problem at all. My BF and I worked with Stephanie here back in October or November, and found our current apartment. He originally emailed her and was contacted and told to come in. We went in for an initial consultation to discuss what we were looking for, credit, and location parameters, and then she emailed us a list of places to check out- interestingly, the one we were most interested in from her list was one we had ruled out when searching on our own, because we were under the impression that we could not afford it. Working with Stephanie was easy- our second appointment, we met at the complex and spoke with the leasing agent, went for a tour, and discussed their specials. Ultimately, we ended up applying on the spot and moving in a month later. Stephanie kept in contact from our initial email, to calling me to schedule both appointments around my crazy work schedule, and following up with us once our application went through and our move was underway. He did go show the home to a friend that lives in San Antonio just to appease our reluctancy and our fears of fraudulent rentals that swarm the public. If you want someone to NOT help you find an apartment, this is the place to go! I filled out a request form on their website. I got a phone call the next day from an agent named Michael. We briefly went over my criteria for the apartment. We set a date for me to come to San Antonio to look at the apartments he had selected for me. This was very important to me because at that time, I lived about 120 miles north of San Antonio! So exactly one week out, he texts me to confirm our appointment. I confirmed. Then, on the day that we are supposed to meet, I hop in the car to drive to San Antonio. Before I even got out of my city, I sent him a text to see where I should meet him. He then replies "I'm with clients all day, how about tomorrow?" Now why would I want to meet you tomorrow when I've already took the day off of work to drive to San Antonio to come meet you TODAY? Absolutely unacceptable. I informed him that would not work. He then told me "if you really need to see someone today you can stop by the office." No thanks! I immediately opened Google and found another locator in San Antonio that was willing to assist me. Very poor customer service from TX Relo. I just don't understand how YOU scheduled our appointment, confirmed it, then forgot! Imagine if I would have actually drove all the way out there. Unacceptable! read more

The so called leasing agents Josie c and m ike care nothing about the nobody's like us who need apts. if you want someone to throw some listings at you. Then she's the one, doesn't return calls and or texts. You get a response (give me a sec) She never responded . I am not perfect I need help that's why I turned to these idiot's. And don't think you will get movers with them either. But they don't tell u that in advance, you just assume it comes with their so called service. I tried to work with a guy named Mike (210-317-4158) I saw an ad he posted on craigslist, apparently, it was fake. I insisted on knowing where it was, I guess this made him made that I was interested in a place that he made up. For some reason, when he found out that I was moving in from out of state, he threw a fit, insulted me, and told me that I was wasting his time and that he was "worried for the people in Texas" and "don't come to Texas" and "don't waste my time". Apparently when people respond to HIS ad, it's wasting HIS time when he makes stuff up? No, you're wasting mine. STAY AWAY from these people, they're incompetent, rude, and dishonest. read more

They say they work with broken leases, but as soon as you tell them that you have one, they become condescending and rude. They also say that they will "escort" you to properties, and that is false, at least in my case. They have not stopped calling or texting me either! The properties that were shown were horrible, and not worth my time. Try another locator! Unprofessional and not worth your time. read more

We arrived in San Antonio in November 2017 and Yiza Silva helped us find a place within the first week of arriving. We only signed a 6 month lease so we could get the feel of the town and decide on what area we wanted to live. Called Yiza a few months before our lease was up and told her our price range, amenities we wanted and area's we were interested in and she quickly started giving us options and kept checking in with us until we found the right place. I got so lucky I came across this place, Kimberly Garcia especially! I needed to find an apartment in a week and a half within my small budget and Kim nailed it! I was in such a bind and she would meet up with me during my lunch break to look at some apartments with me (even on her days off), she made sure that I was in a safe neighborhood being that I was alone, and she constantly kept in touch with me to find the best spot to fit my budget. I was very interested in a apt listing on their website so I called for more information. I had a male employee from the company that called me back from a number #210-551-7217 who wouldn't take time to hear my concerns in the Ad. after I informed him that I "just wanted information on a specific listing" he gave me barely any information about it, unless I asked specific questions. From his verbage, it sounded like he didn't want to help me because I was only wanted info on the specific Ad only and not wanting to use his full service of having him as my personal apt searcher, so he seemed upset and didn't want to help me. This is not my expectation of a apartment search service. I will tell you I will never recommend your services to anyone I know. If anything, he should have heard my concern and addressed it, and maybe I would have asked for his help as a apt searcher for more places. read more

Long story short I stopped using her services because she did not communicate with me like I expected her too. I would call her a couple of times but she would never return my call until I texted her. I was not satisfied with her services. The reviews were horrible.
