My gino said I couldn't go back to him, I needed to go to the Center for cancer and blood disorders. What a mistake. I was put on a treadmill of treatment and after a year, was told I needed to be on kemo for the rest of my life. At that point, I said I wanted a second option and called Dr Duer. He saw me right away, found a study that was done at Balor Medical, (not an option I was given st the center ), and got me into treatment right away. The office also found me assistance from several charity places to help pay any out of pocket. The center never even said this may be alvalble. The only bad thing I can say, and it's not bad per say, is that Dr Duer takes a Lot of time with his people, so if you don't get an early apt. Be prepared to wait. Bring a book or tablet. Lab apts are quick as are kemo apts. This is the best care in the area and I can't say good enough good things about this office and staff. Leslie Cranston

My primary doctor made me feel like it was super aggressive and we needed to move quickly. Then for weeks ... Silence. Your mind is your worst enemy. Things didn't move very fast. Well it took over a month to the get answers. Dr Barker explained everything and took the time to make sure I understood it all. He was very knowledgeable and helped ease my mind tremendously. Once I saw him things started moving rapidly. I was getting treatment less than a week later. Only been to a few treatments so far. His staff is very friendly and helpful with all my questions. Not that I would want anyone to go here!!!! But on the rare chance you need to I would recommend him.

Download the Authorization To Disclose Protected Health Information Download the Authorization To Disclose Protected Health Information (Spanish) Fill out the form Print the form Sign the form Find your local cancer center Submit the form by fax or mail Medical records are stored at the cancer center where you received treatment. It is now October 9th and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MEDICAL RECORDS EVEN THOUGH THE WEBSITE STATES MEDICAL RECORDS ARE STORED AT THE CANCER CENTER WHERE YOU RECEIVED TREATMENT. My PCP is needing those records so that I can make an appointment to get a few other health issues addressed. However, I've had to prolong making the appointment since my medical record request has not been processed WHICH IS DELAYING ME GETTING TREATMENT. In addition, the doctor I saw talked down to me which I did not appreciate. However, his NP was AMAZING. I will be looking for a new provider and facility that does what it's supposed to, when it's supposed to.

At Texas Oncology Presbyterian Cancer Center in Dallas, I recently underwent a total hysterectomy…read moreperformed by Dr. Jonathan C. Oh, who both recommended and carried out the procedure. A sizable mass was diagnosed as endometrial carcinoma. During surgery, lymph nodes, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and cervix were all biopsied, and I was relieved to learn that every result came back negative for further cancer involvement. The surgery was done robotically and laparoscopically, which greatly eased recovery. I no longer needed pain medication just two days post-op, and within four weeks my incisions had already faded--leaving very little evidence of surgery at all. I would recommend Dr. Oh to anyone seeking a physician who is not only highly educated, experienced, and skilled, but also straightforward and reassuring. He inspired confidence at every step, and that confidence was completely justified. Thanks to his care, I am now cancer-free with a low risk of recurrence.

No care for the person with them supporting them. "The patients" It is clear these nurse's all in the field for money only. No care, no personality, it is just push them through and get them out. It is sad... As if people where not humans. Disabled people should not come here, because you will be treated rudely. This place made me pay upfront for my radiation treatments - what my insurance didn't cover- ok…read morefine. They kept turning in wrong codes to insurance over and over again before finally getting it right only to do the same thing the next day. Sent me several bills, of which my upfront payment already covered. I asked for detailed billing, in person and over the phone several times and all they sent was more bills or a past due notice, no detailed billing. Over 6 months now and they still have not turned in my credit of payment to my insurance company or billed me correctly. I don't know what these billing people are doing, but they sure aren't doing their job! EVERY WEEK for over 5 months I've spent several hours in person or on the phone trying to get them to straighten my records and bills out with no luck. Also need them to correctly turn my credit of payment into my insurance company since I already met me out of pocket but it's not showing it. Would like to add, they seem to have billed my insurance for more treatments than I actually had. Totally fed up with this place and incompetent "financial" billing staff members!

Dr. Fay came highly recommended to me from a patient of his that was very successfully treated for his leukemia and I am sure I am with the right physician to help me battle my disease. Everyone connected to Dr. Fay has been so friendly and great to be around, they just make you feel welcome for your appointments in his transplant offices. There is a disconnect with the people you speak with when you call in and the "patient coordinator". They obviously do NOT care about me as a patient. After following all their requests and them saying "you will hear from us in a couple days" (which started two weeks ago) to getting disconnected today after being on hold. When I called back the message said to call back during regular business hours M-F 8a-5p - BUT IT WAS 4:41pm. Their answering service said sorry just call back tomorrow. I'm done with these idiots. And to think I almost trusted them with my life. This place is JOKE!!!!
