I get it -- there's no lunch hour when you are a salesperson. But damn, guys! If you didn't try to upsell so much, we could've been out of there, an you would've had a commission ... and your Taco Bell! Since the purchase, we have experienced numerous problems and have had the couch exchanged five separate times. At this point, we are seeking appropriate compensation for the continued inconvenience. Each time we contact customer service, we are told there is no one higher up available to speak with. As someone who works in sales, I find that very difficult to believe--there is always a next level of escalation. Being offered a $200 credit on a $3,500 purchase, after everything we've dealt with, feels extremely inadequate and frankly quite insulting. In addition to the repeated issues with the product itself, we have had to miss work multiple times to accommodate delivery windows, all while working around your company's schedule. The overall customer service experience has been very disappointing, and we have not been provided with any meaningful resolution or a way to connect with someone who has the authority to help. We were told if ANYTHING goes wrong with this mattress it comes with a 20 year warranty. Fast forward to present day, and our mattress is sagging horribly and creaking worse everyday. We open a warranty claim, but it is denied. Why? Due to "inadequate frame support". What is "inadequate frame support"? No idea, because the 'terms' of their warranty don't define this or elaborate whatsoever. This is simply a loophole for them to be able to deny your warranty claim. Our frame is most definitely not inadequate. We are using intellibed box springs and a top of the line bed frame from one of the top furniture stores in the Houston area, definitely not inadequate. When I try calling mattress firms corporate offices the line rings and rings. I was also hung up on. I emailed them and have not received a response or explanation. Disappointed is an understatement. We spent over $8,000 on a bed and got 5 years out of it. Take your money elsewhere.

We needed the mattress and adjustable base quickly because we were in the process of moving from AL back to TX. Before we bought the mattress and platform, we warned him that we had a spiral staircase and there was no other set of stairs. On the day of delivery, they could not get the bed up the stairs. We called Victor and he said as soon as he was done at the store around 9 p.m. he would come to our house and help us get the bed frame upstairs. So instead of sending the bed & base back to the store, we decided to wait for Victor's help and trust that he would show up to help. Victor arrived with a friend to help us. Remember this is after hours and he was not on the clock. We attached straps to the base and the railing of the balcony. The three of us pushed up the adjustable base while Victor pulled it up to the balcony and secured it as much as possible. As soon as Victor had it stabilized we all ran upstairs to help him pull it up and over the railing. After struggling and sweating profusely in the humid and very hot summer night we successfully got the base upstairs and most importantly no one was hurt. Victor and his friend went above and beyond that night to help us.

"just give it a try". I called the same day and said they wouldn't work and he promised a replacement by Friday. I was then told I would need to bring back the mattress before they would drop the correct one at the store as this was company policy. I said I wouldn't make an extra trip up there to cover their mistake... I'd bring it when the mattress was ready for pick up. I was then told the delivery drivers would call me when they were 30 minutes away so I could get there to do the exchange... I live more than 30 minutes away from this store... and I do have a life. Nice policy. A day later I was told my mattress was backordered and at least a week out. I finally gave up and purchased from Mattress Firm. I returned the mattress 1 and I had to ask for a receipt proving I had returned it, as no verification was offered. That was 16 days ago. I have yet to see a refund hit my credit card. I was told I had to call corporate... but they have a policy of putting you on hold for a 10 minute period and cutting you off, asking for name and number for a call back that never comes. I don't know what the exact policy is, but I've made four calls and been cut off each time... for exactly ten minutes each time. I was told the office is in Florida but their message said they were closed when I called at 9:45am ET. I've called the store with no help and I've called the area supervisor with no response. This morning I received a call back from another store... the number given me for the supervisor... and I was scolded for airing my complaint on the voice mail that his customers heard... so sorry. I then suggested maybe he could reach the supervisor, Chris Johnson, and suggest that he return my calls. So, as I said at the beginning of this, I suggest STAYING FAR AWAY FROM MATTRESS ONE. Communication is awful, I had to call several times to figure out what was going on with my order and most of the time I was being ignored. Delivery are a complete disaster, they send very young guys, 1 of which was very unprofessional, cursing in my home with my 6 year old son running around. Worried about getting home too late to go out with friends instead of putting the furniture together. Way too much time is spent in the homes when these deliveries are made, it was a 2 hour job that was done in 5, my fiancee ended up jumping in to get them on their way so we could go to bed. These guys had little to no experience in assembling furniture which resulted in a king bed not being put together correctly and my son's full size bed not being put together at all because they thought they were missing a piece. A new part had to be ordered, which he didn't do right away, he waited until I got upset to do something and had the nerve to curse at me when I was getting upset due to his incompetence of running a business. He blamed the furniture vendor when all along it was his own fault. Tad could not care less about making anything right, be careful, just because he discounts everything, doesn't mean you'll be happy. After over a month of dealing with this business I'm so glad to be done with them, don't put yourself in this position and go somewhere else !
