Since the purchase, we have experienced numerous problems and have had the couch exchanged five separate times. At this point, we are seeking appropriate compensation for the continued inconvenience. Each time we contact customer service, we are told there is no one higher up available to speak with. As someone who works in sales, I find that very difficult to believe--there is always a next level of escalation. Being offered a $200 credit on a $3,500 purchase, after everything we've dealt with, feels extremely inadequate and frankly quite insulting. In addition to the repeated issues with the product itself, we have had to miss work multiple times to accommodate delivery windows, all while working around your company's schedule. The overall customer service experience has been very disappointing, and we have not been provided with any meaningful resolution or a way to connect with someone who has the authority to help. Please advise on how I can escalate this matter to corporate or to a manager with the authority to properly address and resolve this situation. I would appreciate a prompt response.

Amazingly, no branches numbers available but only corporate office number. I beg you, don't go there unless you'd like to be heart broken and disappointed. They love to bounce you around till you give up and your issue will never be solved. i bought a floor lamp from them which they didn't want to deliver so i went to their warehouse in Missouri city to pick that up. Upon bringing that item home, once i opened the package it was broken and cracked on the bottom, plus it's supposed to dimmable lights but they're not and stays on the lowest mode period. Now, i've been try to solve this issue with them but these people are the worst people with no understanding, no sympathy towards customer and no regards whatsoever. these are hard to catch people, once you got lucky and someone on the phone with you, they'll put you on hold and after 20 to 30min, phone hung-up. At that point, you can imagine the level of frustration. They do have a good quality furniture but unfortunately, bad nature of people with zero customer service skills. Fyi, it's been a week now and my issue is still unsolved. i'm never gonna give up if that's what these people are thinking. My next step is to report this business to the "Better Business Bureau" aka "BBB". I work hard for my money and they should have respect for every customer who have purchased the item from them. Don't be fool, BE SMART and avoid this business at any cost!!!! Thanks

I believe for 10,000 dollars or any amount of money Your purchase should be new and Free of defects. There are no more couches in stock so one is going to have to be made . They refuse to refund my money. Customer service was a nightmare. I highly recommend if you need furniture to consider gallery furniture. I have always used gallery and been 100% satisfied. If I only would have known the showroom couch Was not the same as the warehouse couch. One star is too good for my experience at star furniture. Don't bother calling the president as recommended on the brochure you just get circled back to customer service who have scripted responses. If I only read yelp reviews about star furniture Clear lake and saw 90% were only 1star I wouldn't be writing this review.

    UPDATE: After posting my earlier review (below), I was contacted by Star Furniture. Star's…read morerepresentatives informed me that the reason for how long it takes for the repair parts to arrive is that they need to come from overseas and are shipped via boat. I was also informed that while the parts showed as delivered, they could not be found and obtaining replacement parts again would take much more time. To resolve the issue, Star offered to replace the sofa and did so in late February. The customer service representative who contacted me was extremely professional and courteous, as were the delivery personnel who delivered the replacement. I am extremely pleased that Star Furniture was able to resolve the issue and offered to replace the damaged sofa. It is still unfortunate that it took my original review below rather than the phone calls to resolve the issue. However, given that I was always very happy with Star Furniture before this one issue and that Star was able to resolve it, I will consider purchasing from Star again in the future. I am updating my rating based on Star resolving this issue. ORIGINAL: In September 2024, I purchased a Dexter 2-seat leather love seat with console in middle for drink covers. Sliding console didn't quite work right from day 1 (noticed by delivery personnel), and then wouldn't open after about 3 weeks. Called in service order. Technician that came out broke cover and put large tear in the leather. Was told they'd order parts and come out and repair everything under warranty, with it taking 3 weeks to 90 days. It is now longer than that and still no parts. Every time I call, I'm told parts are either on order - today, I was told parts have yet to be ordered -- and it now takes at least 120 days to get repairs. I'm being told it will likely be another 30 days minimum. So, I have new item that was damaged, technician damaged it further, and can't get resolution. Guess its time to look at legal options for resolving these issues since Star Furniture not helpful at all. Never had problems with them in the past, but will not buy from Star in the future.
