It became our Friday night out thing as family - some wine and cheese for mommy and daddy and gourmet cheese and snacks for the baby! Who knew wine tasting would be baby friendly? They even bring more snacks and cheese for our daughter who loves cheese and all kinds of gourmet food (salmon with dill& onion dips, goat cheese and beets, Hamachi kama and avocado...). Unlike some other wine and cheese places I've visited, the employees are very knowledgeable of wine and cheese. And if they are not sure, they will direct you to the expert rather than pretending to know Having said that, we wonder whether we should continue to go to this wonderful free wine tasting on Fridays because we end up liking so many things we taste and buying whole lot of wine and cheese every time we go there. :)

This is one of the first places I ever even legally purchased alcohol, back in the good ol' days when the drinking age was 18 (and this was in the 1980's), and I was 18 and I would roll up in this place (Probably jamming to Whitesnake on audio-cassette) and buy a daiquiri and I felt like such a big boy, such a grown up. And the daiquiris were good then too...still are, I just don't get 'em as much anymore, obviously, because I'm in my 40's...and a man... It's funny though, in all that time (almost 25 years now-gosh!) how many countless businesses and ventures have come and gone here locally in that time? And yet this sucker is still standing? Wow. What is it that they say about liquor and longevity?...Actually, I don't know who "they" is, and if there really is such a saying, but there should be one, and it should apply to this place...I was buying drinks here when I was in high school...HIGH SCHOOL!!!! All legally of course, may I remind you again the legal drinking age was 18?....In the immortal words of one David Coverdale and his once great collective, Whitesnake,-"In the still of the night I hear the wolf howl, honey! Sniffing around your door!..." .... Yeah, you know I was awesome!!!!
