I was devastated of course. What's worst is the way the situation was handled by Douglas. Although he was not rude, he did nearly nothing to help us. I feel in that type of situation, you would go out of your way to help find another studio. Instead, he sent the photographer a list of 10 studios. (Mind you, I can pull up a list on Yelp just as easily.) My poor husband and brother dealt with my panic but luckily another studio (not on Douglas' list) came through. To top it all off, I was told via text that our deposit would be returned by end of business day on 9/9. It is 10/1 and we are just now receiving our deposit back. While the studio looks nice and the booking process was simple, I guess be cautious if Houston is going to be having any type of rain or inclement weather. Have a backup plan with this studio especially if you have a special event/time you are trying to capture. The customer service was subpar.

He brought his sweet wife along to assist. Our photographs came out great! We had talked to several other photographers before booking Morteza; these other photographers either had prices out of our budget, had pompous and diva-like personalities, or had sub-par portfolios. We are very glad we decided to hire him.

Sang was professional and knowledgeable in selecting areas of our location for us to pose in, offering many options/shots for a reasonable price. However, the only reasons I would rate 4/5 stars is that the original promised deadline to complete the photos in editing was not met (about a day extra before receipt) and some of the poses may have worked for other body types, but were not a clear fit for us. Some of the otherwise lovely photos of us as a couple look like one of us is a serial killer harvesting a victim. This is not true of all of the shots and we definitely have enough to work with, but in retrospect, it is something noteworthy that I would want to be more aware of in the moment. Overall, I would hire Sang again in another need that did not require a hard deadline, and maybe would request to review some of the poses that may not have felt as physically natural to us as a couple since 9 times out of 10 those were the ones that didn't present as well in print.

I attended their soft opening and got a glimpse of the layout and end endless possibilities that could be done with the venue rental. So instead of opting for a pricy hotel conference room and forced inside catering, I got a quote form TWS and booked my full-day rental with ease. I'm not certain what kind of events they're able to host, but the venue served as a great space for a speaking engagement. They have a set up projector and while walls used as screen, some tables for use, sound, lights ... the only thing I brought in were chairs from Aztec Rental. And since they're located down the street, delivery and pickup was flawless. Looking forward to see what else this venue can transform into. I'll def use them again in the future.

First! Anyhoo,…read moreCalvin was beyond belief. I booked on Peerspace (my first time learning about it), and out of my top three choices to film my client's pilot for YouTube, Vybe Studio was the clear choice. I had seen it a few times driving past--it's within a strip mall and business park on 1960 towards Willowbrook. But now I've gotten the opportunity to film there, and it's got all the bells and whistles: commercial ceilings, blackout curtains, a hedge wall, furniture with real plants, as well as photo lighting and monitors. There are a few other amenities as well, and while Vybe Studio isn't soundproof, it's back away from 1960 that the occasional motorbike isn't a huge audio issue. Calvin was very welcoming and accommodating; we moved all the furniture out the way to clear the blackout curtains for my background, and moved them back. At $55/hr, the price was right--generous, even--for everything that's there, so Calvin and Vybe Studio would be my preference when I need a place to film.

Finally they make sure the lighting fits the mod for the given room and they can even make it adjust for the time of day. We highly recommend that you use them for your lighting needs.
