Concrete By Jason

(1 review)

Jason originally gave us a price of $6500 for a 32 x 30 concrete slab on August 17, 2023. We staked…read moreout the area where we wanted the concrete slab. When Jason came out on September 11, 2023 he told us it needed to be moved over 12 foot or more because of the slope. (The entire area is sloped) I wasn't pleased as the carport needed to be closer to the house, not the street (we've had several accidents and deaths coming down.) he managed to get my husband to agree where he marked it off was the best and started building the forms. Jason knew I was not pleased. Shortly he told us the dirt work would be $500 and his price was now $6700. They left for the day and we left to run errands. When we got back the dirt had been delivered (we were not aware that was going to be dirt delivered that day) we were advised at that point the cost was $900 and he had to charge a delivery fee is he does not service our area (what a shock) Jason and his crew started working on 913 2023 moving dirt around digging up ground (same thing could have been done where we wanted the carport to go and closer to the house not the street) Concrete work was done on September 19 At that time he told us the cost was 9000 because of the apron he added (which has a large hump all the way across) I kept telling Jason that my car sits to low to the ground and would bottom out ,but he pointed out that he's done this for over 25 years. Guess what my car bottoms out and I cannot use the carport. We have tried to move the boat to its spot as well And the trailer hits the bottom. He left the entire area expose so when it rains it will wash out so we had to have three more loads of dirt and gravel brought in to build up the area. Hopefully my husband will be able to park his truck. We will not use Concrete by Jason again, nor refer his company. All in all He did not make the concrete slab flow for the lay of the land.
