If there was only one store I could shop for the rest of my life, it would probably be Target…read more However, I am not sure if it would be this Target in particular. This location has had some very much deserved TLC over the last few years, and it is probably one of the most "modern" looking Targets in San Antonio. This location has everything and anything you can imagine and more! From plants, to home decoration, groceries, clothing, school supplies, you name it! However, the main reason why I am not giving them a full five stars is because of the way this location has their product placement. They have items from the same category spread in two separate locations. Why? My guess it that they want customers to walk all over the store to find products. Here is one example, I was looking for Jurassic World toys for my kid and they had them spread in two locations of the store (toy section and a random path in other section of the store). Another example would be their school supplies sections which again was spread between two different locations, making us go back and forth to get what we actually needed. I would prefer if they had everything in one place and just let customers shop a little more efficiently instead of making us guess where the second part of what we are looking for is actually located.

There was a man standing there in front of the door and he tells me the restroom is closed and I can use the one by the pharmacy while pointing off in the distance. I ask him if someone is in there and he says yes, but if he let's me in then he has to let everyone else in and again he directs me to the pharmacy. I'm irritated now and really need to use the bathroom so I tell him that and he finally moves. After this I left and did not even buy anything I was so disgusted. I don't plan on going back to this or any Target.

What a unique concept to help keep single-use plastic out of landfills! And San Antonio is great to…read moreincorporate a zero waste shopping experience as this is a not so environmentally conscious city. I was needing a handful of household cleaners and have had this place bookmarked for awhile now. I cleaned out the containers I wanted to use w the sustainable products in store. For oxygen powder I used a finished supplement bottle. For castile soap as a all-purpose cleaner, I used a jam jar. For dish soap I reused a finished dish soap bottle. And finally, 3 laundry pods. Firstly, tare each container on the table against the right wall in order to not pay for the weight of your container. Then grab a small, circular tag, scan it, and that will go with said container. And so on and so forth. There are stickers and permanent markers in order to label product number and name. There are small vials of the product such as body lotion, laundry detergent, and shampoo where you can sample the scent. Some had a couple scents to choose from and others only had one. Vetiver, sandalwood, lavender, and citrus were some of the scents I remember. The 3 bottled products I got were 40 cents/oz and the laundry pods were 60 cents each. Along the window of the store, they have packaged products from other companies such as beeswax food wrapping, dish brushes, bamboo dish rack, ect. There is also toothpaste tabs, dishwasher pods, window cleaner, sunscreen, aloe vera, and more. What I found really cool is if you're in the area and need to stop by but no containers on hand, there is a free community jar section!

You can buy reusable containers or bring your own to fill up on dish soaps, body care, and home cleaners. I had been wanting to try toothpaste tablets so I can more easily brush my teeth at work. Revolution has bulk toothpaste tablets, and an underarm detox. I'm going to jump on the trend and try the organic deodorant cream. I bought some dishwasher pods and toilet bombs and everything smells so good. Overall this is a really cool space and it allows you to reduce your carbon footprint, but still use high quality nontoxic products.
