My son has been so busy with their free freshman events that he cannot even talk to us about important stuff... yes more important than Casino Night! LOL I had experience in the UT system on a personal basis (UTD), but alumni of one of their schools or not, this tops everything we had. UTD was a JR/SR University in my day, and so we were expected to have all this fun-thirst out of our systems. We still did not have half the fun or events he's having.

The registration process was an absolute failure from start to finish. I needed to enroll in summer…read moreclasses, but the office repeatedly added new holds and requirements without clearly explaining what was needed or helping me resolve them. By the time everything was addressed, the summer term was effectively over and I had lost the opportunity to register. I also asked whether unnecessary transcript requests could be waived or reconsidered, but received no meaningful assistance. Instead of helping a student find a solution, the staff created additional roadblocks and offered little accountability. This was one of the most frustrating and unhelpful administrative experiences I have ever dealt with. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this institution and taking your time, money, and education elsewhere.

Tried to get a tutor, they scheduled me with a girl who was tutoring for her first time. She couldn't answer anything on my homework right, this rendering me with no help to pass this class. So I drop the class to avoid taking an academic hit...decided to seek God and come back the next semester stronger. I even sent the school proof of my stepmoms passing. They confirmed. So when I returned to retake the class for the new semester, would you believe they are charging me double what the class is worth. In 2018 I reported fearing for my life because I was in a domestic violence situation. I told my psych teacher, he wanted nothing to do with it. He tried to send me to an office on the other side of the school and this man was circling the parking lots looking for me. When I took English here, I was able to prove their system wasn't receiving the assignment I sent, and they failed me out of that class because this issue occurred specifically on the final paper. That teacher ignored my emails and I lost my FAFSA support for the year. This school is by far the biggest let down I've ever heard of. May God have mercy on all your souls, and I hope you're never punished for mourning. I hope no one ever treats you all like you're treating me. And to the rest of you, go to school literally anywhere else.

Also plenty of restroom facilities and water fountains throughout, as well as snack machines. I think some snack machines even took credit/debit cards, so they are updated to the 21st century. I even danced professionally in New York. Carolyn Hanna refused to even meet with me in person after moving back to Tyler. I applied for a job as an adjunct professor, and as alumni was completely snubbed. Carolyn Hanna is incredibly rude, not only did she refuse to meet with me, but she also forbade me from applying to TJC in the future. I was incredibly polite, and there were no justifications for her actions. I have never met this women and do not intend to. Do not send your kids here! This program is a complete waste of money. They are rude and refuse to speak with former students. They provide no services in career development, nor do they care about their students!
