Visited everyday for 60 days Extremely poor membership experience this establishment cheats They try to scam you into buying time twice They will on purpose leave your time running so you have to buy it more often Even when you buy time at the front door they will immediately harass you about buying time again when you sit down to play poker They will let you play 2 or 3 hands then they will exclude you from the next couple hands until you buy time a second time or spend your time and energy trying to figure out why they won't give you the time you paid for when you first entered the building Then the dealers will yell and scream at you because the whole establishment is poorly trained and disorganized The girls who work at her front door will steal from you when you ask to buy time they will pocket some of your money it's extremely shady the way this establishment operates and cheats so much fraud going on and now I'm banned because I didn't feel like buying my time after I already paid for time once.. for some reason I need to buy time twice once at the front door and again at the poker table because the front door girls love to steal from members and the management helps people cheat by excluding you from certain hands for no reason when most nights they are super cool and will let my time run down to negative one hour with out harassing me Please get better management please train staff better Please hire better door girls clerks counter peoples who don't steal and can actually do their job properly Please hire better dealers who don't stand up and yell floor like a giant toddler having a tantrum because my clock says I'm negative 1 minutes after I just paid for 60 minutes and you refuse to update my time Clock This happens all The time the poor mismanagement at the Dallas location of TCH I hope they hire a competent manager who can hire staff who actually cares about doing their job and not stealing from members read more

Fun place to play poker, decently nice people and staff. Would totally come back and play poker!

Stopped in on a random Wednesday night. The place was hopping. Very tight and crowded but most games you would be looking for. I sat at a roller coaster of a table with one player having 3900$ In front of him. He bullied the making it 20 to go with each hand he played. Dealers did a great job and there were many cameras watching the action. I left a 45 dollar winner and feel like I missed being chewed up and spat out. :). Great players having fun. Decent snacks and clean restrooms. Would play here again. read more

I play at TCH Dallas whenever I'm in the Dallas area. It's a good room. Tables are well spaced, dealers and staff are generally good, same for the games (I've played 1/2 & 2/5) and restroom is clean. The time charge and membership fees are on the high side, but not as much as the home game I play at. Not sure how it compares to the Las Vegas game rakes. The room is in an industrial area so I'm not sure about safety at night. I always only play during the day. All in all, if you want to play poker in the Dallas area this is a good option. read more

Present cost for cash games is a bargain at $13/hr + $30/mo membership dues given they don't (& legally can't) take a rake. I've watched ALOT of streams on TCH live and poker vloggers and wanted to stop by and play, there's 2 fees which is your chair and something of an entrance fee which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Other than that i had a great experience there, i was playing 1 2 NL and still got tons of action. Lost my first buy-in for 200 to a guy that was running really hot but was still having an enjoyable time . Bought back in for 200 and ran my stack up to 300 when i get a king high flush draw with top pair in a 3 way pot when first to act bets 25$ with 300$ effective and gets raised to 75$. I push all in for my 300$ and both players call me and i end up hitting a full house and take the pot!!!!!! When i come back to Dallas will definitely come back again and you should also check it out. read more

This place, like all other card rooms in U.S. started off good. There used to be alot of action with players that made mistakes. Now, OVER HALF the players are regular grinders who play for a living. SUPER BORING to play with. Cards are all worn out, and they won't give a fresh setup, even if you ask. Some dealers cant calculate pot size bets in PLO games. Also, so players "Go North" and add-on chips to their stack when they are in a big hand and have the nuts. So players hit and run to a new table, and rathole chips. I have been there in a lot of off season, 1 am to 9 am sessions and there is almost always multiple games running with small and medium sized HOLD'EM and plo around the clock. One time a guy came in and bought in for $30,000 on a 2/5 table and he jammed all in into me 4 times and could never beat a pair. Really crazy games. read more

Beth the dealer that is in her mid 40's with glasses. She said to me during a hand "I'm sorry you misheard me" this type of horrible customer service and confrontational behavior is what can send the best poker players into tilt when they are in a big hand. This happened to me and in turn lost myself a lot of money in the process. I expect a higher level of professionalism to be held to the dealers that deal big stakes games. I would never play at Beth's table at Texas Card House Dallas and it's crazy how dealers like her can't be held accountable for their influence on the game and the action. Would not recommend to play with her. I was playing at a table of all locals and she definitely treated me differently, but more so poorly by comparison. For the rest of her time at the table she knew I was tilted by what she said because I brought it up during the hand and no apology or back track. When I brought it up to her after her period at the table she tried to bribe me with money. This begs the question of how this business will hold her accountable for her action and the effect she has on the games outcome. read more

Absolutely stinko! Most inept dealers (two misdeals in an hour) I have ever seen. NL Holdem has an Omaha "bomb" hand each dealer change (takes 5 minutes of paid time when you sit out). All cards marked with strategic creases - and there are no shuffle machines! Complained to floor & manager - they could give a chit. If you don't have a partner in this joint, you are at a clear disadvantage. I played in Gardenia CA in the 1960s where there was more "stuff" going on than you could imagine. This joint is much worse! Has more moves than a belly dancer! DANGER, Will Robinson - Run, Run. Not just a disgruntled loser bellyaching - Played only a few hands in my prepaid hour and walked out with most of my buy-in (minus $10 for day membership and $7 for time). I got no time for this place. This joint ain't the Ritz - it's the absolute Chitz! A zero out of 10 IMO. read more

Woman at the front desk "Saffron" was very unpleasant. Made faces and shook her head in a "No" or an unapproving manner when ingave her my players card and again when I gave her my $10 for daily membership. I had also called up there earlier to see if I could pre-register for the tournament in the morning. First time I called I was placed on hold with noone answering to tell me I would be placed on hold and then I was hung up on. Second time I called she answered and I asked her if I could pre-register and she didn't know the answer so she just told me no and I asked to speak to a manager and he told me yes I could come register. This was not hospitality or customer service or even cordial. Everything besides the unpleasant experience from her on the phone and then in person was fine. read more

Excellent staff, huge variety of games ranging from 1/2 NL to 10/25/50 NL to NL PLO 8 or better. Now open 24 hrs. Remember, it's a social club, so games are NOT raked...you pay a membership fee and an hourly seat rental, which is less expensive than the rake at casino games. Water/coffee/sodas are free (just tip the nice servers), snacks $1each. Nice bar/lounge area if you want food delivered. It is BYOB. If there is one thing they need to improve on, it is that they NEED to lease the storefronts that are vacant to double or triple the space. God knows they can fill it...play the bounty tourney on Tuesday evening, and you'll get it. Otherwise, a perfect room. read more

My experience at Texas Card House has been positive. It's a clean, well lit area. Staff and floor managers are well dressed and polite. They have complimentary soft drinks and snacks for $1. The $1-$2 games play much wilder than I find in a casino. You'll routinely find stacks of $800-$1200. The max buy-in for this game is $300 so there is a lot of gambling to get stacks of these sizes. There is some room for improvement. I don't know what the policy is for players being on a mobile phone while in a hand. Typically it's not allowed, but I don't know TCH'a specific policy. One player was constantly texting when she had cards. I doubt seriously she was doing anything shady, it's just when it came to her turn to act, every time we had to wait for a minute before the dealer reminder her it was her turn to act. It was very annoying. I wish the dealer had told her after about the third time she couldn't be on the phone when she's in a hand or her cards are dead. In another hand I was not involved in I witnessed a big pot ($600+) which went to the river. The same cell phone lady who was first to act simply surrendered her cards after the river card was dealt (while on her phone) in such a way that they didn't touch the pot or the muck. The victor of the hand, before mucking, asked the dealer to make her hand was dead by touching them to the muck so she couldn't just grab them and turn them over. Cards are typically live until they touch the pot or the muck. The dealer ignored the request three time. It's a reasonable request by a player who I'm sure has been burned before. At one point I noticed the Ad had been marked by a crease. I notified the dealer who responded, "they're all like that" and attempted to show me the backs of the rest of the cards. They weren't marked that I could see but maybe I would notice it if I could look closer like when they're face down right in front me. I didn't argue and to the dealer's credit he did notify floor who replaced the deck. Lastly, the restrooms were a little nasty, which was a shame since they took the trouble to design them with beautiful finishes. Overall it was a positive experience. I hope if management reads this they will take it as both praise and constructive criticism. I will be back. read more
