He worked with our insurance company, was here early before the installers arrived, and stayed, ensuring that everything was done well. Never mind that it was 100° out, he is always smiling, pleasant, and willing to serve. He stayed after the roofers left and picked up every nail around the house, and any other debris left behind. They covered our pool to ensure that no material fell in it. Last week was the second time I worked with David Cazares of D&E Remodel, Inc. In 2016 he replaced…read moreour kitchen and bathroom countertops with custom granite. He did a beautiful job of cutting, polishing and installing the granite. The cut-outs for the sinks and cook top were precise. The countertop was level. The backsplash of subway tile was also installed perfectly, even around some difficult windows in the kitchen. Since that original installation we have had no problems with the countertop, backsplash or any of the caulking. Last week I had him come in to remove a portion of the countertop and cabinets to make room for a slide-in range. I gave him the specs for the size of the range, and he carefully measured everything out. He made two cuts in the granite countertop all the way back to the tiled backsplash. The cuts were straight and parallel. There was no damage to the backsplash. He polished the edges and made them smooth. He replaced the caulk between the entire counter and backsplash and resealed all of the seams in the countertop. He re-worked the cabinetry to create a perfect spot for the range, which included adding tile to a bare portion of slab so the range would have a level and smooth surface. The next day the electrician came in to install a new 240V outlet and commented on the excellent job David had done on the counter (he had seen the counter before the re-model). When the installer from Lowe's put the range in place his comment was "this guy did a great job on the counter, it's a perfect fit". I highly recommend David Cazares and D&E Remodel. His price was very reasonable, and he cleaned up afterwards including cleaning the floor.

Centennial Roofing had installed a new roof for us in 2010, so, we contacted them to do the repairs. They exceeded our expectations and even repaired areas that were outside the scope of the estimate at no extra charge. They worked on it about a week later and they got it all done that afternoon in about 5 hours or so. They replaced damaged and rotting gables which was where some rain would sometimes get into when it would storm badly, they replace those with beautiful white gables that sealed up those areas and caulked other things and it's stormed since the roof was fixed and there have been no more leaks. Plus they sent me a Thank you card and a bucket of cookies! If you're going to get your roof fixed don't hesitate to call these folks and have it done right.
