This included walls, ceilings, baseboards, doors and even refinishing the kitchen cabinets. They were so easy to work with-- from the quote to scheduling the work and following up for touch ups. It couldn't have been easier which was surprising given the size of the project. They are bonded and insured and have a supervisor who manages the whole project end to end. The painting of everything turned out really well. The best part though by far was the kitchen cabinets. They were a very light oak color; nice cabinets but a bit outdated in terms of color. The team removed the doors, took them offsite to sand them down and spray them. They turned out perfect-- I get compliments on them all the time. They also refinished a stair banister and fireplace mantel. Both were painted black so these were no small jobs. We had these painted white as well and they turned out beautifully. Their prices were fair, their work was great and the overall project management couldn't have been better. I highly recommend Next Door.

They have an awesome design center and team (special shoutout to Luisa!) where you can make many great selections, but they also took my vision for custom flooring and cabinetry and made them possible as well! The quality of the team's work is amazing! They meticulously laid out our tiling and carefully installed all of our fixtures and everything looks and works great! We had gotten a quote from a corporate remodeling company before reaching out to Tico and it was astronomically higher and they offered no real customizations so we would have gotten a cookie cutter bathroom for double what I got my dream bathroom for. We enjoyed our experience with Tico Home Remodeling so much that we used them soon after the bathroom for another smaller project in our kitchen to replace old lighting as well. We highly recommend Tico and will continue to be return customers! Here are our before and after photos:

We talked later on the phone and he refused to redo the project and refused to give us our money back. He called me and my husband ignorant and "fuckers". DO NOT USE THIS GUY. In my reply, I gave them my cell number and requested they text before calling, as I don't answer strange numbers, and that I would not be available on certain specific days of the week -- and what do you know, they called without texting (strike one) and asked to schedule for a day I said I was not available (strike two). We did agree on a day/time that worked for me and they were a no-show, without any notice that they weren't planning to come by (strike three). Later that day, they asked to come out and I would have been okay, but I work from home on the days I am at the house and I explained that I could not walk around the outside of the house with them (due to the timing and my schedule) but could spend a few minutes orienting them (we have no dogs in the yard or anything hazardous) and they could email me the estimate. Instead, they tried to reschedule (strike four?). At which point I figured I had one estimate in-hand, another company had looked at my house and I was expecting an estimate at any time, and I had yet another company that hadn't been out yet. I explained this politely and then got three, one-line comments through the Yelp portal to the effect that they regret missing the appointment. I regret it, also, but I expected to be treated more professionally by someone who wants my business.
