Cockroach in the kitchen

I wish there was an option for zero star. This is a horrible place to stay from the staff cleanliness and price. I had a reservation for a studio however, I got and text the night before, and they have offered me a two bedroom suite . The first night I was tired, and did not notice anything until the second day, which I saw several cockroaches on the kitchen crawling on my food . I called the front desk immediately and notified them when I was explaining on the phone the receptionist hung up on me . She was so rude and angry. Apparently they knew the problem that there was an infestation of cockroaches, and that particular room that can explain the reason for offering and upgrading my room. The front desk told me there is no manager on the site and you have to wait until Monday. Then she called me back and told me if I want I can have another room. I knew that there might be the same situation on the other room and I did an inspection which confirmed what I predicted and it was even more filthy. Than the first room. I refuse to move and again asked to talk to a manager she resisted, and then she noticed I am taking the number written on the wall for their corporate office and she was very upset. When I wanted to take the pen she screamed at me. I am emphasizing that she screamed at me, not yelling . At that point, I did not know what to do because it was late night so I asked if at least they can send someone to clean the room or give me bug spray but still she ignored me not even answered The next day, when I saw the cleaning people, they told me this room is infested, and they are very well aware of that. Also, they said one of the maintenance people just resigned and quit it because of the dirtyNess, and this problem. I contacted the health department as well as the corporate office . I sent them the video and picture of the cockroaches, which I saw them again the next day. But no one did anything for me however, the second time that I took a picture of the cockroach on the kitchen and show them. They change my room, and I did not want it to even look around because I did not want to see anything to make me disgusted, I spend the night And left. However, this is my worst experience ever staying at a hotel and even the way they treated me affected me more. For example, when I ask for some help to get the Willer for moving my stuff, the same lady refused and said go and find it through your self. That's not my job. Today I contacted the third-party and where I made the reservation with. Luckily they were able to refund me. I found out that health department sent an inspector. They just have the specific room out of order. However, the entire hotel must be infested since cockroaches were coming through the sink. Please do not go to this hotel.

Absolutely horrible! The office staff is fantastic at blowing smoke in your ass but never gives a solution to your problem. Maintenance lies and says you're not home when they come to fix something (I work from home daily). The maintenance guy trolls around the place even when it's outside of office hours with a cigarette hanging from his mouth and is often times seen washing his motorcycle instead of fixing the many problems residents have. My new lease was due a month ago but I haven't seen anything. This place is complete shit! Do NOT get yourself tied up in their complete bullshit!!

IF I could give it 0 stars I would do not move here you will hate life. They do not fix anything and they try and charge ridiculous amounts for water bill. Amenities are always broken don't get fixed, the pool is very questionable! Property is always full of trash, needles, glass, etc. They never empty the dumpsters and are assholes to boot. Everything someone good works in the office they quit within a month, You fill out maintenance requests and it takes months to get anything done the, so many water leaks throughout building. Mold everywhere. GOTTA LOVE ALL THE FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS AND HOW THEY MENTION THE PROBLEMS LOL !!!! WHAT A JOKE THE CLUBHOUSE IS NICE DON'T LET THE PICTURES FOOL YOU! Horrible service. Mold in my apartment after a water leak. Poorly managed. Still not fixed after over a month. Promised new carpet nothing ever done. We have been getting sick can't sleep always coughing Lost the whole use of a bedroom and a bathroom They won't fix it. Lost the content of over $40,000 in sport memorabilia. They advertise all these great things. You will get nothing. They feel it it is better service to paint the building and seal coat the parking lot instead of fixing the issues so they can further deceive possible new tenant. If you put lipstick on a pig it is still a pig Please view these lovely pictures. As of right now over a month ago this was reported to them. Still not fixed all they did is dry up the water didn't fix anything. It created a bigger leak. Still just dried it up again. Black mold everywhere. Carpet still not replaced after 4 appointment to stay home from work and no one showed up. Everyone that lives here should be suing them. Housing court is right in Lawrence pro bono lawyers will get you everything you need.

This apartment community is the best I've ever lived in…read more Not only are the buildings beautiful, modern, and clean. Not only are the grounds kept wonderfully, the pond is beautiful, and the landscape looks like a Christmas card. Not only are the amenities fantastic and beautiful. Not only are the neighbors nice and friendly. Not only is the rent affordable. Not only is the location easy from both 93 and 495... ...but the Lodge at Ames Pond has the best staff I've ever encountered. First make sure to book yourself a showing with Farida (or Greg, I'm sure he's nice too). She is up-front, clear, and a fantastic individual to work with. It's not a sales pitch with Farida, but rather an exploration of what would work best for you and your family. She knows the property inside and out, and loves it just as much as we do. You'll leave with a signed lease, and a smile on your face. Everything is easy, UDR makes renting from a REIT a breeze with their online systems and quick turn around. The maintenance crew keeps the property wonderful, responds to tickets immediately, and keeps all this snow out of the way. There are other places out there, but seriously, stop looking. Come be our newest neighbor!

RUN…read more - Packages stolen (they blame the couriers yet the door is unlocked 24/7 since 09/25 - after being told for months they're "working on it" I was told today there is no plan to secure the door in the future, I was essentially lied to for over 6 months) - A week or more without an appliance is the norm - twice in two years - as is being unable for 72 hours to use your shower due to it having to be reglazed - twice in two years with no alternative arrangements offered - all with no rental credit. - Two full time front office staff, one full time and one part-time maintenance staff (these guys are really good and deserve massive kudos for their work!) for a 13 building complex with approximately 15-20 apartments each - it's a skeleton crew. - Have an after hours emergency? No staff on site after hours. I called the emergency number for a flooded bathroom due to a sink supply line leak - no one responded until days later. - Literally the only non-threatening email we get from management is the once yearly cookout - paid for by Xfinity and not UDR. - They constantly remind you of your liability while accepting no responsibility themselves. And everything is an additional fee... - "Secure" (unsecure) package room? Fee. - Parking? Fee. - Security cameras mentioned in the lease - never show any useful footage of thefts/crimes - Wanna have a cigar outside on your balcony? Can't - total non-smoking property, even outdoors. - Pet rent - people are shocked when they hear how much I pay, they tell me what they pay and it's always an order of magnitude less. - Any utilities included? Are you kidding me, even though, without housing assistance, the cheapest 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment is currently going for $2,525 a month. Look elsewhere. They put on a good show but the veil drops pretty quickly after you move in.

My wife and I lived there for 8 months and I will tell the Incident exactly as happened. I emailed…read morethe front office requesting a garage parking spot due to the fact that there is not enough Parking spots per zoning, not even close. Their response was that we should consider leaving the community immediately before we incur penalties and fees, court Costs and lease violation costs associated with my wife and I not vacating the property with 21 days. I challenged so they wrote us a lease. Violation letter Stating that we violated our lease by breaking three of their rules, 1. My friend and I Playing frisbee at 12:00pm midnight, thus interrupting business operations, not allowing them to. Conduct it in the manner in which they were accustomed.(TRUE: about playing frisbee underneath a beautiful night sky, yup we did that.) 2. Littering in the common areas. (FALSE) 3. Having a vehicle that is unregistered and uninsured on the property. (FALSE) OUR WHITE JETTA WAS REGISTERED AND INSURED FOR THE REMAINDER OF OUR LEASE ! We Have ample documentation to show that the vehicle was registered and insured during our entire tenancy at Balsalm Place. That's it folks, they threatened us, coerced us, then wrote A lease violation letter,telling us we had to be removed in 21 days Then after we agreed to vacate, solely based on the fact we didn't have the moneys to fight such a tedious and expensive legal battle, we received a bill from Lincoln Property Management stating that we must pay $11,720 for penalties,fees, a one month lease Concession, three months rent for the time in which it was vacant and not leased out, court costs, moving costs (laughable, we moved all out belongings the night before the final day) and several other Miscellaneous penalties. Wow, seven years of bad credit, not Able to rent or lease due to the moneys owed to Lincoln prop management and eviction on our credit. Needless to say, we NEVER GAVE THOSE CROOKS AN ADDITIONAL DIME AFTER WE RECIEVED THE LETTER THREATENING US! BE CAREFUL AND BE SURE TO COVER YOUR INTERESTS AND REMAIN VIGILANT, THEY ARE NOT AS NICE AS THEY MAY SEEM.
