It was also a surprisingly manageable portion, which makes a nice change from a lot of the fast food around. The sign outside says "Best Chicken in Hamburg since 1966" and they might not be too far wrong. I really want to try the half-chicken and chips, as it's supposed to be one of the best in Hamburg, however when I went the other week they'd already sold out! Anyway I had schnitzel with hausgemacht pfeffer sauce and it was damn nice. I'll be back to try the chicken one of these days!

Big portion of Chicken swarma (instead of falafel) and rice(instead of fries), salad, hummus, drink for the same price. We paid an extra euro for another scoop of hummus. Left full and happy. I like that they cook the meat/cheese/falafel to order so everything is fresh. Yes it takes longer than shaving it off a spit but if you have 4 mins to spare this is awesome. Lots of flavor, and lots of toppings on the plates and in the roll-ups. Lettuce, cabbage, hummus, carrots, tabbouleh, lentils, potatoes, sauces, tomatoes, etc. First meal I had was the shwarma teller and second was the halloumi teller to which I added 2 merguez sausages. The only disappointing thing was the halloumi cheese was really thinly sliced and became dry and brittle in the deep frier. For the portions and variety the price is maybe a little too low - 4 euro for the small plates. The people working here are also really nice. I think we'll be back frequently since we live in the neighborhood!
