Where do I begin? I was referred to TestCrackers when I landed on Georgetown's waitlist for their full time MBA program. I had taken the GRE 3 times already and had been unable to raise my score. I was a last minute client with really tough timing constraints to work in, but Yuri was kind enough to take me in for his private tutoring sessions. If you are preparing to take either of these exams, you need to spend the money to take this class. The instructors love their jobs and they make the intense 3 hr classes bearable. They provide the materials you need as well as the ability to watch instruction videos as a recap. They also will read your practice analytical writing essays so you know how you can improve in order to reach the 4-6 scores. I recently took the GRE and there is no way i would've gotten the scores I did on my own. This class gave me the strategies to study and score high. After taking the Manhattan Prep complete course for GMAT, I felt like I had learned all the material but my score was not improving. Frustrated and overwhelmed, I began searching for a private tutor and discovered Testcrackers through a friend. After a few 1-1 sessions with Seth, I was finally starting to see results. Seth is super patient, kind, and supportive. I was already scoring quite high on the Verbal section, but with Seth's guidance I was able to boost my score even higher, routinely scoring 99th percentile on practice exams. He showed me how to apply an almost formulaic approach that ensured I wouldn't fall back on what "sounds right," and instead was able to eliminate wrong answers until I was confident I had the correct one. Quant was the real challenge for me, but Seth was able to distill topics in a way that just made sense. I recently completed the Verbal GMAT review course at TestCrackers. Honestly, I was not really looking forward to doing this all. Back in early 2020, I told myself I didn't need to take or pay for a class and I promised myself that I would learn how to study for the GMAT on my own. After months of procrastinating (and never studying), I realized that I would not be motivated to study without some form of external help. Now that I have completed the course, not only am I motivated to study more, I also know HOW to make my study time effective. The truth is, I couldn't have learned what I did without taking this course. It also must be noted that my instructor Seth (somehow) made the content of this course... interesting? If, prior to the course, you told me that I would be laughing and smiling while taking this class, I would roll my eyes. I was pleasantly surprised when I started enjoying it. Seth was excellent. So, if you are on the fence about taking a course with TestCrackers, I recommend that you do it. I will start the TestCrackers Quant course soon and will leave a review on that as well. BTW New Yorkers- my vote is to choose TestCrackers over Manhattan Prep or any of the other gigantic test prep companies. The content is more interesting, the classes are smaller, and you get more hours with experts. It's a no-brainer. TestCrackers has students all over the world. No time zone issues for me! read more

If you are considering signing up for a GMAT test prep course, this is the one! Even if you think you can study on you own, I highly recommend taking a TestCrackers course. I am pretty self-motivated so I tried to self-study but after a month, I was still scoring in the 500s. I initially signed up for TestCrackers because they have a Quant only course but after several phone calls with Yuri, I decided the marginal extra cost for Verbal could be worth it. TestCrackers teaches amazing techniques that you cannot get from even the best GMAT books. The instructors are incredible! They make learning Quant fun - I cannot tell you how many times I laughed in Isaac's classes and I was honestly sad when the course was over. Most importantly, they turned problems that I hated into problems that I could quickly knock out of the park. They also go out of their way to help their students, and included in the class fee are office hours. I had a moment where I was about to give up on the GMAT, and Seth encouraged me to keep at it with some new timing techniques and skip strategies. I took the Quant and Verbal classes concurrently and did all of the assigned homework and jumped from the 500s to the 700s. I took my official GMAT a month after I started with TestCrackers and scored a 730 :) I really could not have done it without the TestCrackers team! read more

I took the verbal GRE course at TestCrackers which covers the verbal section of the GRE and the essay. I really enjoyed the reading comprehension strategies taught as well as the essay outlines given.
