Testa and Pagnanelli is the best firm law firm I have ever come across. I searched long and hard and conducted a number of interviews/meetings with lawyers and I could not find any that exhibited the combination of patience, care, passion, and knowledge that I found at the law firm of Testa & Pagnanelli. While both Testa and Pagnanelli are equally wonderful, I had the pleasure of Mr. Pagnanelli represent me in my divorce case - and I have to tell you, it was the best decision ever! Mr. Pagnanelli is a rare find.....he possesses such a humble, friendly, and caring attitude with his clients...and I must add, extremely knowledgeable about family law!!!! He took the time to answer every question, email, and phone call in such detail that a five year old could understand which made the difference in my understanding of all the laws associated with my divorce. Throughout the entire divorce process, I felt a sense of calm and peace because I knew he had my best interest and would handle everything that had to be done. I am such a control freak because I don't believe people can get done what I can get done and to the degree that I would personally handle things. But, I have to say, I felt good about relinquishing control to Mr. Pagnanelli because he was on top of everything - every required filings related to the divorce, to the property settlements, everything...what a pleasant relief to know that I did not have to stress about anything because he is so efficient! Further, if Mr. Pagnanelli was not available for some reason (maybe in court), his partner was always there to jump in and communicate with me in his absence. The entire firm is supportive and responsive beyond measure! If you want lawyers that really care about what you are going through and hold your hand and lead the way to victory, then you want the lawyers of Testa & Pagnanelli.......more than what you could ever ask for!!! They care and they win! read more

Maria is refreshingly fierce in court - she zealously, steadfastly and most importantly, SUCCESSFULLY protected my interests in a very nasty divorce. She came well-recommended by my general counsel when I was faced with a divorce - and that recommendation was well justified. Her communication is excellent, often I got a reply within minutes of emailing her. She was always willing to answer questions, offer constructive advice on dealing with any issue that arose. She made it her business to be well-informed about every aspect of my case. Maria excels at research and brings an encyclopedic knowledge of the law to the table. At every turn of my divorce and custody case, she developed solid and well-considered strategies for dealing with the other side and she and her team handled every situation with finesse, professionalism and acumen. She is a suberb legal writer and a tiger in the courtroom - a consumate professional. Additionally, while Maria is always a professional jurist, she also gets to know and care about her clients and the peculiarities of each childrens' case. This is a quality that not many attorney's have and I really came to appreciate it in Maria. Lastly but far from least, Maria's fees are extraordinarily reasonable - especially when you consider the level of service and skill she provides. I have paid other attorneys far more for far less results. Her retainers are both affordable and flexible, which is very helpful while fighting a divorce. All in all, she is a five star attorney you can hire at a three star price and I recommend her and her team without any reservation whatsoever. If you need a lawyer to help you in a divorce or custody dispute, Maria is definitely the one to call. read more

I was at my wits end, near penniless after a year long custody battle only to be dragged into court again for unfounded, untrue and baseless claims in thinly veiled attempts to diminish my custody time. I contemplated defending myself in court but realized quickly that I was in over my head and that while it may be expensive, hiring a true litigator was my only hope. I prayed feverishly about it and started searching for lawyers in the area. Thank God I found Maria Testa and Testa & Pagnanelli. I can't possibly say enough good things about Maria. When I say from the moment she took my case I went from a nervous, downtrodden, near beaten former shell of a man to a confident and self-assured client in the matter of a few minutes; you would almost have to see it to believe it. Her command of the courtroom is truly awe-inspiring. I think she actually intimidated opposing counsel to the degree where any objection or attempt at offense was nullified before she got out of the gate (literally, I saw them stutter and stare at their shoes at one point). I felt at ease and even when I felt like the odds were severely stacked against a divorced Dad seeking equal custody; she never let me feel or see that I had less than a fighting chance. I was confident going in and out of the courtroom BECAUSE my attorney was Maria Testa. As kind to her clients as she is knowledgeable about family law, she became like family. So much so that if I have a daughter I'd feel guilty if I didn't at least consider the name Maria. In all honesty, I have never seen a more capable and relentless lawyer take on the pursuit of true justice the way she did. And I will forever be grateful for the hard work she put in. read more

I came to Enrico almost a year ago after wasting thousands of dollars on another attorney. I regret not seeing him from the beginning. I was completely on my own with three small children and absolutely no legal experience. From the first time we met, I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge base. But over the last year, I have also come to respect him for his kindness and his understanding. Mine was a relatively hostile case and he handled it with confidence. He made himself available and accessible to me whenever I needed him. And believe me, for awhile, that was often. He always returns calls and emails very quickly. Unfortunately, my custody case ended up at litigation in front of a judge. I was scared to death and have a public speaking phobia. Enrico made sure that I was well prepared and somehow, he actually made me look great on the stand. Anyone that has the same phobia knows that's a daunting task. During the trial, he was calm and confident and he expertly questioned everyone that testified. He worked tirelessly on my case, knew the facts even better than I did, and had a perfect strategy in place. Thanks to his skill, the outcome for me and my children was even better than I had hoped. I would recommend Enrico to anyone that needs legal help. On a side note, his legal fees were less than my first lawyer. All lawyers are expensive, but Enrico is worth far more than he charges. Thank you is just not a big enough word for everything that he has done for my family. :) read more

I hired Maria after many failings of my previous attorney. Maria was very easy to talk to and was available to consult with me and my family even before I hired her! She had a good understanding of my custody case and was very sincere in her approach to my case. She explained everything to me in plain English, not legal terms. She made sure I understood everything every step of the way. Maria was and is always approachable, on time and very organized. I was able to communicate with her via email, cell phone, text message or at her office at any time of the day, night and even on weekends! She is always very accessible and dilligent in her work, even though she has three young children of her own. Maria took the time to review my case thoroughly and knew exactly what plan of attack was required. She is an excellent brief writer and is fired up in the courtroom, but still very professional. She is an excellent trial attorney who will get you what you want. She also is very emotionally connected and can feel your pain as well as your children's. This is a quality that not many attorney's have, but Maria certainly does. Maria was very reasonable with fees as well. She understands that not everyone can pay "an arm and a leg" for excellent representation. She was very flexible with the retainer I paid her and does not have a problem discussing her bills. She is very reasonably priced for a top notch attorney! Maria is like family, an excellent attorney with a wealth of knowledge and I recommend her! read more

A little over two years ago I desperately reached out to Maria, I had only lived in the area a couple of weeks and found myself facing a very serious custody battle. It was all extremely unexpected and I initially spent most of my savings hiring a lawyer that didn't have my best interest. Thankfully, I was referred to Maria. She instantly helped me to feel more secure and from that moment forward I have always trusted her and I'm truly thankful that I found her. In the two years that she has represented me, she has listened to me cry, scream, laugh.... You name it. She was always available and remained diligent, helping me to understand that eventually I would see the light at the end of the tunnel (aka the worst battle of my life). In the end, I can finally relocate, I have sole custody (I did everything possible to have shared custody with the father) and I couldn't have done it with out Maria. She truly cares and I know that with her compassion and determination she will continue to be more and more successful! read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Testa and Pagenelli Attorneys. From start to finish, their professionalism, preparation, and knowledge were truly exceptional. They take the time to understand the details, focus on what matters most, and approach every situation with a clear and strategic mindset. What stood out most was their ability to remain focused on the important issues while providing thoughtful, knowledgeable guidance. They were responsive, attentive, and consistently made me feel that my concerns were being heard and taken seriously. Having an attorney you can trust, especially during challenging circumstances, makes all the difference. Testa and Pagenelli demonstrated the experience, dedication, and professionalism I was looking for. Especially after poor representation that I have had in the past from others. Night and day difference. I highly recommend their firm to anyone seeking knowledgeable, prepared, and client-focused legal representation. read more

To a parent in need of a good attorney, I highly recommend Testa & Pagnanelli. They truly have the best interest of children in mind and at the same time a high regard for equal parenting rights. From the day I met the team, they listened to my story, and they immediately helped to frame it as it pertains to law. Specifically, Enrico Pagnanelli, paid close attention to detail and made me feel like I was in good hands throughout the entire process. He didn't always tell me exactly what I wanted to hear, but it was clear he always had my family's best interest at heart. Enrico's depth of knowledge and experience regarding family law helped us to make fair and firm decisions during a tumultuous time in my life. They were well prepared, aggressive and really fantastic at trial! Because of Testa & Pagnanelli I am enjoying much more time with my son, and he is thriving under our new arrangement, and I am forever grateful. read more

Enrico Pagnanelli represented me in an ugly custody and relocation battle to save my triplet sons. He was amazing through the whole process. He is a no-nonsense type of lawyer who is very knowledgeable about family law. He is completely amazing!! I searched through many family lawyers in Philadelphia, and Enrico called me back immediately himself! He did not sugar coat anything, and he was completely prepared for every manipulation thrown at us. He ruled the courtroom, and he saved my babies. I brought them home that very day! Thank you so much Enrico!! I definitely recommend this amazing attorney! If you are fearful, heartbroken, or fighting a tough battle, this is the man for the job. He knows his stuff, and he truly cares. He is not a push over, and I am forever grateful for the joy he has brought my entire family! Please give him a call. You won't regret it! read more

I worked with Maria Testa of Testa and Pagnanelli from October 2015 to March 2017 for my custody proceedings in Philadelphia. From my initial consultation, I was convinced that I had made the right choice. Maria was knowledgeable, calm, and very sympathetic. Being a mother, herself, she really understood how to combine the human side of these proceedings with the legal side. In addition, Maria's communication and organization is unparalleled. She would reply to every email I sent (and there were many!) within hours if not minutes. No question was too small. She truly understood my side of these proceedings, and, moreover, knew how to turn my hopes into actionable motions that gave results. I would recommend Maria Testa and Testa and Pagnanelli to anyone and want to thank Maria for her dedication to me and my daughter. read more

I hired Mr. Pagnanelli to handle my divorce. He had been referred to me by a friend who is also an attorney, but who practices in a different area of law. Mr. Pagnanelli did a fantastic job in handling a complex divorce, a very contentious custody trial and our various support proceedings. He was fair and upfront with what to expect in the divorce and with what tactics to use in achieving results. Mr. Pagnanelli told me from day one that his goal was to settle the case and not run up the bill. He was true to his word. Unlike most attorneys, who in my experience try to file motion after motion when a simple negotiation can resolve the case, Mr. Pagnanelli actively sought to negotiate a settlement from day one and I really appreciate his work. Great attorney. read more

After going threw months with out seeing my daughter because her mother didn't want me to see her and have no part in her life. I turned to the Testa & Pagnanelli office. Enrico was great with me & my wife he listen to all our concerns and gave us great advice. I have to say that Maria really kick ass for me in court. I got custody of my daughter and was able to be the father that I've always been but now with legal standing. Maria & Enrico worked very hard and put in a lot of hours and dedication into my case. In my hardest days with the battle of custody for my daughter I honestly can say they were extremely professional and supportive to me & my family. Maria Testa has been my attorney since 2014 when she handled my divorce. I knew from our initial consultation that she doggedly determined, highly intelligent, irreproachably honest, and most importantly, she knew the law. These were the qualities I wanted in an attorney. Maria was wonderful,in the courtroom and out. She was empathetic, kind and always responsive to queries and concerns, days, nights or weekends. I have referred Maria to several friends, the highest form of praise, with equally stellar results. To this day, I consider her my friend. I had a wonderful experience with Testa & Pagnanelli. My first attorney was not responsive which made me question his ability to represent me at trial. A friend that had used Rebecca Kolsky in the past recommended that I called her. I did not think she would be able to help me as it was very close to my trial date, but to my surprise, she jumped into action and took control of that courtroom! She spent as much time as I needed to prepare and in only 3 days, I felt more comfortable going into the trial with her by my side than I had for years with my prior attorney. I highly recommend Rebecca and this firm. read more

Excellent attorneys. I highly recommend Mr. Pagnanelli. He is ethical, reasonable and extremely competent. I hired Mr. Pagnanelli to clean-up the mess created by my previous divorce attorney. After wasting years getting no where in negotiations with my prior attorney (and thousands of dollars), it took Mr. Pagnanelli just a few weeks to quickly and efficiently end my divorce on good terms. I was very happy with the result and with his effectiveness in negotiation. read more

Maria - I recently went through a very difficult divorce. I have 3 children and I needed as much help as possible with them since my ability to earn money is limited. Ms. Testa was an amazing advocate. She made the right moves at the right times and although I am sad to be a divorced Mom, my kids and I are financially secure and we have Ms. Testa to thank for that. I highly recommend her. read more

My ex-wife tried to keep our two girls away from me despite a generous amount of child support that I paid to her. I am a professional and I do work long hours but I believe that I am still entitled to have time with my daughters. Ms. Testa took over my case and within 2 months, I had joint custody. I am very happy with the outcome of her negotiations. read more
