I love having my hair done by Libby! Not only is she so welcoming and so fun to talk with, she's also an actual hair wizard. Libby lifted my "box-black" hair up to a beautiful ashy blonde color, and without damaging it at all, which I've learned is semi-unheard of in the hair world. She takes the integrity and health of hair really seriously, so she's mega trustworthy, and give loads of great advice and hair tips. Terry O at Tess - has transformed my hair from frizz to fabulous. I will never use box color EVER any again. The whole salon uses the latest color from framesi system - this line saved my hair from unnecessary harshness and breakage. From cut to color to Brazilian Blowout - this salon has it all. Terry has worked magic on my long hair - I leave this Salon feeling and looking great. Tess has rescued me from my hair on numerous occassions in the almost two decades that I have been going to her. My locks have a mind of their own, and I have some creative ideas for myself, which Tess gets and manages to make them make sense and look sensational. I was interested in a Halo Couture fall, and very few salons in Maine are distributors for this wonderful product. My own stylist at another salon was unable to get a fall for me, so I called Tess. Even though I wasn't a regular customer, Tess was gracious and helpful. She met with me, determined the proper color and fit, and ordered the fall for me. When it came in, she fitted the fall but, more importantly, she showed me how to fit it myself and how to style and care for it. I've been going to Tess for 20 years ( sorry Tess, it's really been that long) and I'd never go to another salon again. Before Tess I would try out salon after salon and never stick with one. Libby at Tess is the only person that I let touch my hair. She's been doing my hair since she graduated beauty school and ever since she started at Tess her skills have gotten better and better with each appointment.
