I lived here for 5 years. I saw my fair share of changes over the years and they were never for the better. When I moved in, each unit had an assigned parking covered spot, as nearly all apartments do. After they built the tower building, they got rid of assigned parking, so it became a total free-for-all. They don't even have the option to purchase a reserved spot. It was nearly impossible at times to find a parking spot if you got home after 6 PM. Many neighbors own multiple cars, including ones that are not driven regularly (project cars and antiques), so they just sit in covered spaces 24/7. I reported this to management multiple times and nothing was ever done about it. Not only does the parking lot look like a junkyard, but it's unsafe late at night to have to park so far away and walk home. As a single woman with only one car, this was immensely frustrating. There are also plenty of residents that do not park their cars in their garages. Nothing is done to enforce this, so yet another parking space is taken away from those without garages. Very little is done for residents once they've moved in. Outdoor windows are never cleaned, carpets are never cleaned, and amenities are taken away with no notice or discount. The pool was closed for most of the summer last year. After complaining to management, another couple and I were able to get access to another Ovation community's pool closeby, but they were not happy to have us there and we could only go during business hours as they had to let us in, usually waiting more than 30 minutes for them to finish "cleaning the pool" at any hour of the day. Because you have to go through the pool to get to the gym and package lockers, these were also closed after hours with packages trapped inside. I can't even tell you how many times I explained to them that I worked during their business hours and wouldn't be able to workout or retrieve my packages. No solution was ever given for the packages, but I was able to get access to the gym in the high-rise building that they keep inaccessible from the other community residents. These gyms are so much nicer than the clubhouse gym. In the rest of the community, appliances and finishes are old, and you get the typical patchy, stark white paint job of many apartments from this era. The people they've employed in the office over the years have really been a mixed bag, and management has changed several times. The others that have worked in the front desk have never been knowledgeable. For a while, they had one that hardly spoke English and could not answer a question directly to save her life, an older lady with exclusively incorrect information, etc. I won't name them, of course, but I'm sure management is aware of just how incompetent these people are. I would also note that over the time I lived here, I came home multiple times to the entire complex taped off by the police and management never acknowledged it once, even after residents had to read about something awful happening in the news. I didn't often feel unsafe living here, but I didn't love knowing that if something did happen, management would likely ignore it. The actual layout of the apartment is great and cozy. I was in a one bedroom all upstairs unit that had amazing natural light thanks to a sort-of steeple over the dining room. It was very spacious for a one bedroom, but had absolutely no storage other than the closet that the washer/dryer is in and the bedroom closet. I know that all downstairs units have a closet where the stairs would be, but upstairs units don't have any equivalent. That was really my only complaint about my apartment layout. The bedroom closet is large, but you have to lose some of it to store household things. Maintenance requests were always dealt with quickly and efficiently, and the maintenance guys were always friendly. I never felt unsafe having them in my apartment whether I was home or not. I always found pricing to be relatively fair and on-trend with similar complexes in the area. Rent went up every year that I lived here, but I never felt I was being robbed. The move in and move out process were both smooth, other than a scammy "redecorating" fee they slap you with. Overall, I would have recommended living here five years ago. When I first moved in, it was the perfect apartment, but now, it's clear that, to Ovation, you're just an income source and they don't care about your experience, convenience, or schedule at all. I don't say any of this to be negative, but I hope they are open to feedback. read more

From day one, the staff has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome, supported, and confident in my decision to call this place home. Every single question big or small was answered with patience, kindness, and a genuine willingness to help. That level of care and understanding made such a huge difference for me, especially during a time that could have been really stressful. We've lived here now for 2-1/2 years and are very happy with our decision to move in. The apartment we're in is spacious and very comfortable. Whenever there's a maintenance problem, the 3 gentlemen who are on site (Norly, Rondell and Tristyn) are fantastic and respond to any service issue very quickly. The management team and office staff (Jill, Greg and Marisol) are very helpful and responsive no matter what the question or concern. They provide great customer service and offer complimentary dinners each month for the residents. They're doing a good job keeping this property in such great condition. read more

I would recommend this complex to all my friends. The move in process was smooth. Greg is super friendly and answered all my questions. All the office staff seems to be on the same page. And they really seem to care about their tenants. I lived in the tower. Beautiful brand new building with all modern decor. My apartment was set up like a smart home, with voice controls for the lights, thermostat, and even the locks. Felt like living in a fancy hotel, because of the internal hallways, elevator access, and gyms/lounges. All apartments also come with a built in WiFi router and modem. They clean the interior hallways and gyms, daily! Outdoor sidewalks and grass areas are clean. They are also quick with repairs. Rent is consistent, and good value. Rent also includes water and gas at a fixed rate. Only utilities the tenants are responsible for is electricity and WiFi. My only recommendation is to provide trash valet for the tower, and to also have a moving cart or grocery cart rental option. Since it's a pretty long distance to walk from the parking lot up to your apartment. No complaints. Living here was a great experience and I'll miss it! read more

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE! READ!!!!! They are so shady!! First they mislead me and made me think that I was applying for a 15 month lease only to find out after that the link they sent me via email by the leasing rep at the front desk was for a 13 month lease! He 100% admitted that he messsed up! Most importantly I was really frustrated at the way the manager Daisy handled it after. I tried to explain the situation to her but no matter what she would not honor what was already promised to me even though I had proof of it. I signed a 13 month lease, reluctantly. The whole thing did not sit right with me afterwards. After that, I could never reach anyone on the phone at the leasing office, and they wouldn't let me see the unit before I moved in. I just couldn't see myself moving in there if they were already treating me like that. So, I told them I would not be moving in. To make matters worse they kept $400 of my money! $50 was towards the application fee and the other $350 was for a re-decorating fee?!? A freaking re-decorating fee when I have not even been inside the unit!!? SUCH A SCAM! I disputed it with my bank and they fought back! They kept $400 of my money! They are disgusting! And this entire property should be ashamed of themselves for taking money from people! They got the money they needed from the person who already moved into the unit so why do they need to take money from me too? They probably do this to so many people! GO TO AN Elysian property! Nice place just out grew it needed more storage . Unit is super quiet we had neighbors but I never heard them saw them occasionally. We had a few times that we smelled weed in the hall so we told the front desk and it was taken care of quickly never smelled it again . The complex does need more EV chargers but all of the neighbors have been good about sharing . The move out process was made easy thanks to Gerson in the office he's super friendly and really helpful. This is one of the cleanest properties I've lived at Maintenance is constantly cleaning and maintaining & facilities are clean and sanitary if something needs fixed and pretty much gets fixed within that day .Landscaping comes often So there is no over growth like at some complexes . We would have stayed if there where a few extra closets but over all not a bad place ! read more

These apartments are amazing they are extremely nice and a very good area of Las Vegas weren't too expensive but I'm sure that market price is going up by now the only complaint I have is they switch parking to open parking for all and being that I live here and pay rent here and for all amenities included I can't ever find a parking spot there are people who make parking spots where there is not to be parking there are people park in areas that are marked handicap there's absolutely no parking for the people that live here and it's extremely frustrating especially getting home at late hours and not having anywhere to park and then having to park all the way in the very back towards the leasing office towards a whole different building and having to walk all the way home from there after a long day of work I don't think that is very fair for those who live here read more

The Manger of this property is quick to blame you for wear and tear items such as locks. Telling me just use your clicker! I didn't know I had a clicker for my front door. Turns out I don't, what she meant was instead of bothering her I should just go through the garage. Call me crazy but I like to just use the front door. Her next statement was she was going to charge me a fee for the lock that quit working. This lady has a attitude issue to go along with her hateful demeanor. I really love the community and the area it's very peaceful but the appliances are out dated I call at least 2 times a month and I've only been here for 4 . My refrigerator and dishwasher always flood my kitchen and it is so annoying because the moment the cheap wood flooring gets wet it looks like white paste smudges across the floor . Their maintenance is very responsive but I feel like if I keep have the two same issues with the same two appliances maybe it's time to put in a new one . ESPECIALLY since I pay so much and I'm never late I want a new fridge and dish washer because it will be fixed than a week later it starts to leak again. Very unhappy the people in the office are very nice and helpful so I know it's not their fault but management needs to step it up read more

If you aren't luckily enough to get a unit with a tiny little balcony you will be stuck with Cox cable because they won't let you mount a satellite anywhere. They are way over priced for the tiny amount of space you get. Overall this place just sucks & I highly recommend you don't sign a lease here. read more

Due to Covid and living in California, I was unable to come visit the property in person. As I had lived here in 2007-2008, after looking at the online pictures, decided to sign as the Property Management company did an outstanding job maintaining the property. The office managers were also the most responsive and professional regarding communicating and signing the paperwork. I love being back here. The trees have matured and birds are singing in the morning. (Not annoying singing FYI) it feels likes little village and I rarely see anyone so it all feels quite private too. I like that it's is tucked back from Ft Apache too. read more

I'm writing this as a future resident so I can't say much about living here yet. However, I really wanted to leave a positive review for Greg and everyone with Ovation that's I've come in contact with so far. I moved to Vegas from California and the transition did not go as planned. I was stuck in a loop of applying for apartments and getting rejected for either bad credit or poor renter history. While I understand the importance of those things, especially for a community that does not want to risk their standards with a potential bad tenant, it started feeling ridiculous. Most other apartments I looked at either had rude staff, less than desirable conditions, or just didn't feel like a place to make home. While other complexes made me feel less than desirable, Tesoro and Ovation as a whole instantly made me feel welcome. I was shown around the property and two unties that were above my expectations. I mentioned how nice the properties were and I was told Ovation strives to bring quality and luxury to apartments unlike some other companies that are looking to just offer generic layouts and base amenities. When it came down to business it never felt like a sales pitch. All my questions were answered upfront and I was given information about Ovations other properties including prices, sizes, and general location information. The conversation about credit issues or bad renter history felt comfortable and I was offered multiple ways to navigate around such issues within reason. Not wanting to jump on the first good offer I found but happy with my experience at Tesora, I checked out a few other locations Ovations had to offer. I'm happy to say I was met with the same kindness and welcoming environment, along with the same quality that Tesora had shown me. I ultimately decided to stick with Tesora as I preferred their layout over some others. I was accepted the day after my application was submitted and the whole process was extremely smooth. I'm excited to start my stay at Tesora and will post an update sometime in the future to discuss actually living here. read more

I moved into my boyfriends apartment at Tesora and loved the experience. The grounds were maintained very well and the apartment itself was very spacious. We had a single bedroom apartment with a 2 car attached garage, which is pretty unheard of. The pool area was so beautiful and private/secured (people driving by could not see you). They also throw awesome community events, this last one had a DJ by the pool, games, and a taco man! What I loved about this apartment (compared to previous apartments) was the staff. Jill, Zenia (sp?) and Daisy were extremely nice and helpful. They always had coffee, tea, and treats available if you wanted to stop by and say hi or pick up a mail package. All maintenance requests will fulfill in a timely matter, as well as any issues we had were addressed promptly (which was very few). read more

I am currently a student (medical) from LA and when I moved to Vegas a couple years ago--boy was it impossible to find an average apartment (average: noise, interior of apartment, appliance, the people who live in the community). Encountered from car theft at my first apartment, to thirsty thursday parties at another, adult activity "noises" every other day at my last apartment..I felt a little hopeless when it came to apartments in vegas. Currently it is my 2nd year living in tesora and you should know by now how I feel about this apartment. If you love working out, there is (one of the nicest gym ive seen apartment wise) gym in the 4th storied structure, a nice swimming pool as well as jacuzzi, and another small gym located in the leasing office, a business area with computers (if you have ADD/personal reasons & cant work at home), as well as Amazon lockers where your packages can be safely delivered which is critical for me because I do alot of online shopping and there were cases where my package got stolen from previous apartments. Words cant explain how kind, generous, and hardworking the staff as well as both Jill (assistant manager) and Daisy (manager) at tesora apartment are. I usually do not complain and brush off most situations but there were times where certain events effected me in a negative way and both managers were patient, thorough, and helped resolve my situation-S, in a timely manner with positive outcomes. To summarize: until I have saved up to buy a house or if I happen to stay in vegas upon graduating, I am 100% sure I will still be renting @ tesora & definitely recommend you rent here as well upon vacancy :) read more

I just recently moved into the Tesora Apartment homes and so far I am in love! It is such a beautiful complex, and the layout of the apartment is perfect. Cristina Castillo and Jill Peterson were so helpful. Compared to my last apartment experience they FAR exceeded my expectations as far as customer service and professionalism. When I moved in the maintenance team had the apartment all ready to go. A bag of popcorn and some cookies on my stove was the nicest touch. This place has put me in a difficult situation as I was supposed to move into these apartments in September as what was agreed upon. had a hold on the apartment but management had to push my move in date back till October because they were having difficulties with the tenant moving out. I tried to work with them and move into another apartment but only if they would price match because the original apartment was well below my budget and was perfect but daisy (manager) wouldn't budge on the price even tho I had a set move in date in September which they agreed upon and I was supposed to be out of my old house by then. The whole complex is kept nice and clean and the location is very convenient, The layout of my one bedroom apartment is also great. Honestly. The garages opening up a million times a day at odd hours is a terrible design. Why would you put an apartment right above a garage? It's nice not to have down stairs neighbors but I couldn't take it anymore. Also the summer time the AC was running 24 hours a day. It would not cool down. Appliances are old. The carpet is old. I can't tell you how many people have lived there. I kept getting 6+ different peoples mail a day. On weekends you have someone bumping their music loud at 11pm at night. Fort Apache is terrible to live off of. Only good part about this place was the staff. read more

We just got our place a week ago & absolutely love it here! The community is in such a great location, close to stores & restaurants. Our home is a great floor plan and gives such a cozy feel. This is our first time renting & not to mention that this is our first place for our little family & it has honestly been such a great experience so far. We just signed our lease, this review will most likely get updated later in the future but a few things turned me off right away, nothing against the staff they are super nice however I wish they told us beforehand some of the " rules" as in no more then 2 people in the pool area...seems weird because I had plans of going there with my mom and cousin and husband, I understand about keeping quite and clean but really? Also the 1 car garage is super tiny, they claimed there is room for storage, nope my husbands small Toyota barely fits in there, the bathroom shower is so dark you cant see anything in there, the model apartment is bigger then ours which was " the same " but a little different. It's soooo loud here!!!! Every single day!!!! 6am 6am, 6am, 6am, 6am construction. Trucks and drills hammer and nail guns all at 6am. Imagine putting a dryer, in a dryer, that kinda sound...at 6am. It's feels like it a test sight for construction equipment. Imagine beeping golf carts, helicopters going to the hospital, police sirens, loud cars Revving engines in the morning. This is the loudest place I've ever lived. Plus it stays dusty because of the construction. 2 stars because I like the gate, the staff is amazing. And, the maintenance crew are always ready to help. It's just loud sooooo loud. Every single day. And empathy doesn't change that. read more

Upon moving out, we had a deal with Kim the manager. She stated that if we moved out in 5 days, she would waive the penalty. She called the corporate office and they agreed, we were sooo happy ! So we rushed found a new place and moved within the 5 days (crazy I know) . About 2 weeks later we got a bill for $2,000!!! I was sooo mad because when I looked at the bill, it had said that the blinds in all the rooms needed to be replaced, carpet and cleaning fee!!! I'm pretty sure I paid a deposit for the cleaning fee upon moving in and when we were touring the manager stated all the carpet is replaced with each new tenant and the blinds were fine when we moved out ! I did not want to deal with Kim the manager so I called the finance department at corporate immediately. I spoke with Garrett who worked with me on payment but stated there was no way to not pay any of the fees. so basically we moved out in 5 days and STILL paid the penalty!! This place is horrible and unless u have a lot of money that your willing to throw at them, avoid ovation. Oh yeah and once I finished paying their money back I got an email stating that if I wanted to live at another ovation property that could be possible. I definitely told him that I would never over my dead body live at another ovation property on my life ! read more

Still an excellent place to rent in the southwest. Super convenient to restaurants, shopping, schools, and pretty much anything else you'd want to be close to. Never met a member of the staff that I didn't like, and have never had a bad experience with any of them.
