BEWARE: READ BEFORE MOVING INTO LEKSA…read more I am nearing 14 months of residency at Leksa and feel compelled to share a factual account of my experience living in what is marketed as a premium-priced, luxury community. The conditions I have endured are far from the standard expected of a building that charges nearly $3,000 per month for a one-bedroom unit. 1. Unresolved Construction Defects * Loud internal plumbing noises constantly echo inside my unit, day and night. * Management confirmed the issue was due to faulty interior plumbing work, yet claimed it was "unfixable." 2. Months Without Mail Service * During my first four months, I was forced to retrieve all mail from a local post office due to an internal addressing error made by the building. * Packages, bills, and personal items were repeatedly delayed or misdelivered. 3. Ongoing Centipede/Worm Infestation - A Serious Health and Safety Hazard For the past two months, I have faced a recurring infestation of centipedes (worms) inside my home. This began after landscaping extermination outside the building and has now migrated into my unit. Documented Issues: * I encounter and kill 2-4 live worms inside my home every day. (I've shared countless photos & videos with them) * My balcony remains unusable. Even after washing it clean, 15 or more worms return within 24 hours. * I have found worms on my floors, furniture, and near my dogs' space, posing a risk of bacterial infection. Veterinary professionals advised that ingestion can cause illness. 4. Lack of Professional Response From Management * Despite multiple emails, in-person visits, and attempts to manage the hazard myself, management has never sent licensed pest control to treat my unit or the surrounding area. * No remediation plan has been offered, no investigation conducted, and no urgency has been shown regarding tenant safety. 5. Zero Accommodation or Resolution Attempts I formally requested a lease release on the grounds of unsafe living conditions. Instead of acknowledging the issue or offering any solution, management only reminded me that I would be penalized for early termination, as though I requested these hazardous conditions. To be clear: no tenant should be penalized for attempting to escape an infestation and hazardous conditions they did not cause. Failure to provide sanitary living conditions places the building in breach of contract, and my legal team is now involved accordingly. Final Recommendation Leksa presents itself as luxury living but refuses to address serious health and safety concerns, provide service from licensed pest control, or offer any reasonable accommodation to affected tenants. For the price point, one can secure a residence in the same area without paying premium rent for unsanitary conditions and negligence. Luxury pricing should come with a livable standard -- not worms, unresolved construction defects, and ignored safety concerns.

I would not recommend living here. Throughout my tenancy, the common areas were often unclean, and…read morepet waste was frequently left around the property without being addressed in a timely manner. My biggest concern, however, was the move-out process. After moving out, I provided video and photographic evidence showing that my apartment was left in excellent condition. Despite this, I was charged for items that I believe were either normal wear and tear or pre-existing issues. Some of the photos used to justify the charges did not accurately reflect the condition in which I left the unit. Residents should be aware that even after living in the apartment for an extended period, they may be charged for minor cosmetic issues, including grout discoloration from normal use. I was also charged for damage that I documented as existing before I moved in. In addition, package theft was a recurring issue in the mailroom, which was frustrating and concerning as a resident. Overall, my experience with management and the handling of move-out charges was disappointing. I would encourage prospective tenants to thoroughly document the condition of their unit at move-in and move-out and carefully review any charges assessed against their security deposit.

We came on a Friday for dinner and ate from Chick N' Jones and BFF Burgers. Both delicious and very filling meals. The music was a but loud but they also had a live band playing so that makes sense. The lights are dimmed to create the mood. Lots if seatong options from high tops, normal tables, and sofas. Parking is $10 valet or you can pay to park in the garage. First off, the gratuity / tip is very hidden when you order on the site. They purposely suggest a tip beginning at 18% during check out and BEFORE you can see that they already have a fixed gratuity. So most of us double tipped. I'd be less annoyed if the service wasn't horrendous. The waitresses (food runners) all seemed to have an attitude. They won't make eye contact or speak unless you address them specifically. They didn't even hand the food over; they make you grab it off their trays. Asking for anything like napkins, extra plates, sauces, silverware is a nuisance to them, yet you've just DOUBLE TIPPED for this terrible service. Then you look at the booths and all the people behind them are texting. Maybe more attention to cooking and less on their phones would help. The food was basically all bad, which is really sad. I've had some really great experiences here in the past when it was SHOMA, but I definitely won't be back.
