At lunch sign but a tech came out to let us know that the service advisors got let go.

I made an appointment to bring my 2021 MYP for a faulty battery under warranty and it took a month for the next available appointment. When I bring my Tesla in I'm told then they it will take a month to order the battery coming from California ( they knew it needed a battery from the moment I made the appointment). A month later when my car is ready for pick up according to my Tesla app, I called to confirm and I'm told then that the service advisor appointed to my case got let go and it will take another 2 to 3 weeks. And all this time no loaner because there was 30 something people on the loaner waiting list. I finally came today to pick and service is closed due to all service department fired apparently.

"The way car buying should be."…read more I know that's an old marketing slogan for a different car dealership but I feel it aptly applies to Cobb County Toyota. I've had my 2024 Toyota 4Runner XSeries Off Road Premium in Solar Octane for nearly two weeks now and I am absolutely over the moon with it. I was looking to buy a 5th generation Toyota 4Runner and Cobb County Toyota had the perfect one in stock. The truck was well represented in photos and the price was a great deal compared to similar cars on the market. When it came time to make a deal, they didn't add any extra fees or try to add "mandatory" maintenance plans. The price the car was listed for was the price I paid, plus a nominal tag fee and taxes. My salesperson, Gabriel, was incredibly nice, patient, and not overly pushy. He worked with the finance manager to get me a fair offer for my trade-in. They do try to sell warranty/maintenance plans once you make it back to a finance guy, but he wasn't overly pushy when I declined them which was much appreciated. In the next year, I'll be in the market for an A91 Supra and Cobb County Toyota will definitely be the first place I consider looking.

In October 2017 when I bought my brand new Passat, that perception was shattered and I am still beyond impressed and satisfied with the experience I've had with Jim Ellis VW Kennesaw's sales, financing, and ESPECIALLY service department. When I bought my car, my salesperson was quick, knowledgeable, and didn't push me towards anything I didn't want. The gentleman who helped me set up my financing was truly one of the nicest people I've ever met. He knew exactly what he was doing, walked me through every step of the process by explaining everything, and wasn't annoyed while answering the millions of questions I asked along the way. At the time I was a young single woman with a short credit history and this man not only made sure I got the best possible financing deal but also explained how the credit system works and how I can take advantage of it and improve - not just in regards to financing my car but with personal finances in general. I am now a homeowner part in thanks to the advice he gave me. The real shining star of this business is the service department. I got an extended warranty (which I would highly recommend by the way) and have had to visit the service department several times over the years for routine maintenance and an absurd amount of tire replacements caused by Atlanta potholes and screws/nails lodged in my tires. Every time I come in I work with the same service representative, Arianna, who always remembers me by name and sees to it that my needs are taken care of as quickly and cost-friendly as possible. (Seriously though... if anyone at who works at Jim Ellis VW Kennesaw is reading this, please give Arianna a raise because she's the absolute best kind of person.) Having to put your day on hold for car maintenance is not a fun thing, but because of the kindness, professionalism, and efficiency of the quality work this team does makes the process 100x more tolerable. As far as full-service, one stop car dealership and service centers go, you will not find a better one than Jim Ellis VW of Kennesaw. I will never not recommend them!

I was in and out within one hour! Jose Vasquez - one of the finance managers came over to sign more paperwork. He then brought over copies of a few pages I signed in an envelope. Then I had to sign more papers and asked for copies of EVERYTHING I signed. He made a smart comment "well essentially this is what I gave you but if you insist I guess." I do insist! He went and got the other copies and brought them back and while I had my hand out to retrieve them, this man tossed them on the desk right in front of me and kept walking. I immediately said "that's rude." So...essentially because of Jose and his unprofessionalism I would never do business with Jim Ellis and will tell all my friends and colleagues the same! Proceed with caution. I thought finance managers were more friendly. Plus side: I was in/out within 1 hour; Jim was amazing. Downside: Jose Vasquez - Finance Manager...BEWARE!!! And if management want to contact me or say I didn't make a purchase - due to the name...I purchased a 2019 Honda Accord EXL 2.0 on 7/21/25. Look it up!!!

Our salesman was a great guy & seemed knowledgeable about my particular vehicle. It didn't take me long to decide to buy the car on the spot. Baltimore in the financing department fought very hard to get me the best rate/deal available. They even gave me far more for my trade in that I was anticipating. Everyone throughout the (seemingly painless) process was great to work with. We felt very valued. My only "complaint" is the sticker shock I had when I saw all the "dealer fees" on the bill of sale. Many things (window tint, fabric protector, etc) were all things that you only typically see when buying a brand new car and not when buying a used car. And, with any used car purchase, I made sure to get the extended warranty. That's just smart no matter which dealership you buy from. However, I am concerned a bit to read very mixed reviews of the EasyCare warranty company, as it seems they only approve HALF of the claims submitted. Fingers crossed.

We started communicating through text to get the process started and once we got there the vehicle was parked up front awaiting a test drive. Wayne Able was very helpful, informed and personable. We truly appreciated the experience he provided. The whole process was like everything came together literally just with ease. The vehicle was advertising for one price on their website and another on two different websites and the gave us the discounted price. Wayne truly loves his job and goes above and beyond for the call of duty for one of a kind customer service.

However, the young lady was no help on questions about the vehicle and instead of giving me the information on the car that i needed to know. She asked me "What information I won't to know???" On top of that, the cars she was scrolling through on the computer even the print off I had, were $36-$40,000, which I had a copy of the price online if I recall $28,000 which I gave to the female which claim she knew nothing about. She took it to the manager and we waited about 20 minutes before she came back, Then she said the car would be going to auction unless I purchase it today!? Also she tacked on a docking fee $999.99 which is not law in GA. Next she had to go and drive to the store and get gas while we waited about another 20 minutes. So I drove the car and notice the shaking on the front of the vehicle which it had been wrecked. The back tires have Michelin and the front have some other brand. She never would give me the Warranty information and said its on the Carfax. I could see purchasing this vehicle was going to be a problem. My wife notice it had 1 cupholder in the front, which she won't 2. So we have decided to look for a 2023. Other than that this company has terrible reviews and I refuse to go down that road.
