I needed regular maintenance done on my 2020 X Model, plus I needed the wing doors looked at for some operation issues. First, this location is a true dealership with service on site. I was able to drive into the garage that was clearly marked for service, out of the heat and any potential rain. While I did have to wait for a few minutes at the check-in counter, someone actually acknowledged me and the service person who checked me in apologized for the short wait. This already is service far above what I've received at another service center in So. FL. I was told my service would take all day (up to 8.5 hours!) and would NOT get a loaner, so I came prepared to get some work done and maybe grab a bite at the many walkable eateries nearby. Even with a diagnostic being done for my wing door, I was out of there in under 2 hours! I really appreciate Jesse sitting down and explaining to me what they had to do about my door, and essentially saving me thousands of dollars. They have a clean waiting area with comfy sofas, tables to work at, and a self-serve coffee station. I'm relieved to have found a good service place for our X. While my service advisor, Jeremy, was friendly, professional, and clearly just relaying information from the technicians, the actual quality of work and the lack of accountability from the rest of the team are unacceptable. ​The Repairs & Technical Negligence: -​-Suspension Concerns: We brought the car in for a sudden creaking noise. Both the upper and lower arms had to be replaced. This is baffling for a 6-year-old car that has never been treated roughly; it either points to poor part quality or a lack of diagnostic clarity. --​Safety History: This location has a history of dismissive service. About a year ago, when I asked about a recurring safety sensor message, a blonde female staff member rudely told me that if I didn't pay to fix it and got into an accident, Tesla would not be liable. --​Incompetent Workmanship: The car was returned with a non-functional glove box because the technicians switched the wires between the speaker and the glove compartment. I had to wait two hours for them to fix their own mistake. It now "opens," but the dampener is broken and it violently pops open. --​Tire Blowout: Despite the work order stating they checked tire condition and pressure--and being told the tires were fine after a balance and alignment--I suffered a blowout just days later. ​ The "Key Saga": ​The most egregious part of this visit involved my missing keys. Staff repeatedly and dismissively assured me they did not have them. However, because my brother had placed a Samsung Tag on the ring, we tracked them directly to the Kennesaw dealership. My husband had to drive back and use an app to "find" the keys for the staff because they insisted they weren't on the premises. ​Conclusion: ​Between the wiring errors, the safety concerns being dismissed by staff, and the blatant lack of respect for our property, this has been a massive waste of time and a safety risk. We are two Tesla cars family. Frankly I was impressed with the car---until I tried to get service. The vehicle was worse when it came out of service than before it went in. Moreover the service people damaged the car in such a way as to make it dangerous to drive. When the problem became known the technician on the 800 number for trip interruption events advised me to not even think about driving it until it was repaired. After letters and emails with photographs and at least a dozen calls I got no response. Unless you can find a service center other than Kennesaw don't even consider a Tesla. read more

I paid them over 500 dollars for a new tire and new windshield wipers only to find out a few days later that there was nothing new about the tire or windshield wipers.. As many have said they have the worst customer service. I picked up a band new Model Y. The pick up process was rather lackluster. They are rude, dismissive, and non chalant about many things. I have an ongoing issue that is their fault and its still not resolved weeks later. Let's not even talk about the service department which kept me on hold for an hour just to tell me to come in sometime as they can't do anything for me remotely . Honestly very disappointed in the customer service. It was awful, just like a lot of the reviews mention. We scheduled a 30 min appointment ahead of time to test drive the model Y. We showed up on time and checked in. When getting into the car we were asked if we had test driven one before and we said yes, the weekend prior at another location. This seemed to have bothered the sales associate and we were told that since we just test drove one we could only test drive the car for 8 mins an that they had other appointments to get to which was confusing since we were one of the appointments???? He said we should have booked in advanced which we did?? Honestly just go to the Decatur location much kinder and more knowledgeable. HORRIBLE & UNPROFESSIONAL! The salesperson who helped me was unprofessional, lacked knowledge of how the process works as it pertains to the Financing, Pricing and vehicle design! He was sloppy and lazy and told me that I couldn't test drive the various models I was interested in and I would have to make an appointment for each individual test drive! He also gave me WRONG information and said I could roll over any negative equity into the new loan, which was INCORRECT. When I called to speak to a manager, the same salesperson (JULIAN) informed me they don't have managers there. I don't know how or where Tesla recruits their employees but you NEED to do much, much better! The service I received is unacceptable and does not support your Brand. My salesperson, Julian, despite being on site during my delivery never spoke to me. I made an appointment to bring my 2021 MYP for a faulty battery under warranty and it took a month for the next available appointment. When I bring my Tesla in I'm told then they it will take a month to order the battery coming from California ( they knew it needed a battery from the moment I made the appointment). A month later when my car is ready for pick up according to my Tesla app, I called to confirm and I'm told then that the service advisor appointed to my case got let go and it will take another 2 to 3 weeks. And all this time no loaner because there was 30 something people on the loaner waiting list. I finally came today to pick and service is closed due to all service department fired apparently. read more

I love the car but what good is $120,000 vehicle when they can't service it. I've been trying to get my vehicle in with serious liability issues since November and they tell me now the earliest they can get me in is March, we had a January appointment, which they canceled the day before. You can't speak to a manager. The employees, while kind, are absolutely clueless. They just don't have enough parts or employees so you're buying an investment that they can't even support. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Went to pick up a used car and it was an absolute disaster. The car had multiple issues right from the start. I ended up having to argue with the manager, Hunter Moss, just to get it fixed. He was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional--acting like it was somehow our fault that the car wasn't "to spec." Are you kidding me? I know it's a used car, but the scratches, the leaky headlights and taillights? That's not "within spec" by any standard. Hunter, you tried to offer fixing the lights like you were doing us some kind of favor, even though you insisted they were "within spec." No, they were completely trashed. And let me tell you, your attitude was absolutely out of line. You need to learn how to keep it together while representing Tesla. Isn't part of your job convincing customers they made the right choice? Instead, you made this entire experience a nightmare. Many of my friends and fam know I purchased my Tesla back in 2021 due to narcolepsy and apparently undiagnosed sleep apnea. Caffeine no longer helps me stay alert, and I was falling asleep too frequently at the wheel. Recently my Model 3 Long Range aka Charlie has been in and out of Tesla Kennesaw. I've taken my car for service in April and May. In April, I spent $2700 on the AC compressor which DID NOT fix my issues with the security system and automatic braking. In May, my complaint was a rattling noise while driving over 40mph and AGAIN issues with automatic braking and the security system. That was another $400 to fix the right front camera. They had the audacity to say that the noise in my vehicle was from trash on the rear floorboard!! Yall... look under my car!!! They gon quit playing with me!! Just scheduled another damn service appointment for Charlie!! Did they even fucking look?!! Horrible customer service for the money I spent, and this shit built worse than a damn LEGO model!!!! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE !!!! Worst experience ever. Bought my car here to get a battery replacement came to pick the car up. They forgot to put they forgot to reconnect my coolant. Then when I came to pick it up again, they didn't have any refrigerant in the car. Came to pick the car up again. My roof glass was cracked. I informed them that my glass did not look like this when I bought the car to you, they made me bring the car back up there to be looked at by a manager. They told me it was a rock chip that spread and that they would not be covering it they pulled up some picture from my car, sitting in the parking lot and zoomed in on the roof. The picture literally was mirroring the sky no actual proof of a rock chip just clouds and trees in the picture on my roof. I asked to speak to a manager than the supervisor Gabrielle was very rude and nasty and came over there and said she's the supervisor and she says they're not covering it when I explained that one thing was facts and true I brought my car there and it didn't look like this and I'm picking my car up looking a completely different way and that's not fair treatment to make an excuse of what y'all think happened to my roof. This have to be the worse place ever. I placed an order for a vehicle I received a congratulations email for my purchase. I followed all the procedures for getting the vehicle i placed a deposit on the vehicle. On July 1st I received a call saying could I pick vehicle up on the 3rd because the date I requested July 4th they were going to be closed. On July 2nd I emailed Brandon asking for him to call me. I asked where would I be picking the vehicle up from I was told the vehicle was in Florida I could fly there and pick up the vehicle and drive it back which would be cheaper than the 500 they wanted for destination Charges I was couldn't do that because the vehicle needed to be registered in Georgia. I then told they would forwarded documents for registration. On July 5 I was I received an email saying I could pick up my vehicle in Georgia I gave my banking information, I added vehicle to my insurance and I started my Uber ride to Tesla. During my ride I received a call from Tesla saying they see in their system that I was supposed to pick up my vehicle but it wasn't there and it won't arrive until July 10th. I explained to them we have a problem because I'm already on my way there by Uber I've already added vehicle my insurance and I've given them my banking information to pay for vehicle. These people have no accountability they put me in a position of paying for Uber giving them a deposit calling my insurance and giving them my banking info to pay for this vehicle. I got here at 2pm it's now 4:41pm with no resolution to the problem they created. The sales person said he reached out to his manager and gave him my number but I feel this is total bullshit. I just paid for a 60 dollar Uber ride I asked if there was another vehicle they could let me use or sell me another vehicle at the same price to make up for there mistake. I got nothing if it wasn't for the fact that the car I would have been out of here. Also I should mention there are 3 other customers with similar issues they also left without any resolution. read more

One of the worst service centers I have encountered. It took them 10 days to diagnose a problem with the navigation. Calls to check on the status were met with the same canned answer that "it's still in diagnostics." When I got the car back, the software version was just rolled back to a version from last year, and miles down the road I get a message on my screen that the low-voltage battery needed to be replaced. As a bonus, hours after I picked up my car, the customer service rep leaves me a voicemail that she has an update on my car. You're kidding me, right? Not wanting to deal with the service center anymore, I was able to get the mobile service to replace the battery, which resolved all the issues. They had no loaner vehicles available, and had to use the $100 of Uber credits per they offered, which were woefully inadequate to cover my daily rounds. Had I know a simple computer problem would taken more than 2 days to work with no loaner car, I wouldn't have sent it in for service. Amateur work and amateur customer service, though on second thought, this doesn't apply because amateurs actually try to do a good job. This was the worst combination of laziness and ineptitude in the both the work and customer service. Strong recommendation to avoid this service center. read more

This review is just for the service center in Kennesaw. I own a 2023 Model 3, while I think the car is great, Tesla still suffers from huge quality problems when building cars. I had a problem with my driver side window since the day I bought my car. Whenever I am going highway speeds or just 40+ and you roll down the window and auto roll it back up until it stops, you could hear a lot of wind noise, give it a tap down and it seals right up. Problem is giving it a tap down is not secure and the window rattles and I could not always get it in the right position. This can get very annoying especially since I do roadtrips Nashville to Atlanta 3-4 times a month. This was visit number 6 and the 4th different Tesla service center I have taken my car to. Finally, a center that actually let me ride with them and let me detail my problems. They had a tech drive the car and the advisor in the back seat. Had my car for ~4 days and finally my car is fixed within specs. The employees here were great, I will say I could tell folks were rolling their eyes in their head when I was saying wind noise and it being abnormal, but I give them credit for at least being the only center to take a trip on the highway with me in the car as well. I will definitely be back to this center, I currently live in Nashville, TN but moving to Atlanta and the Kennesaw area. But I will make the roadtrip just to go to this service center as the one in Nashville did not come close to helping to address this problem. Thanks Kennesaw team! read more

My speaker volume is low. I scheduled an appointment, waited 1-2 weeks, the service center rep checked me in, said it would be a 2 hour wait, then said no we need to keep it until Saturday (3 days) so here's a loaner. I couldn't get Bluetooth to connect so I went back to her and she didn't want to help me, I insisted so she got a tech to come and help, the tech was very helpful, rep was not. They had me pick it up the next day said they did a hard reset and let us know if it fixed it, it did NOT fix it. Why didn't they message me and tell me how to try the resetting remotely???? A waste of my time and your time and resources. Whoever responds to app messages said "set a NEW service appointment " this is unacceptable? Wait 1-2 more weeks to go through this again???? Horrible customer service Manager before recommends call the local service center- NO ONE EVER ASNWERS THE PHONE. So I drove over now I am sitting waiting, wasting more time for the manager to come speak to me about it. I've been sitting here for about an hour. You can't be a high end car with this service!!! I can't always just make an appointment through an app. I have a life - I have variables in my life that I have questions to ask about how the service would go. Would I have to get a loaner? I have used this place for service twice now. Both times I made a 7am appointment. They don't open until 8 at the earliest, so don't make an early appointment expecting to wait in your car. The service staff is extremely unresponsive. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday night for a 7am Wednesday appointment. It's now Thursday and the car hasn't even been pulled into the supe shop for the technicians to look at it. The service is an absolute turn off for this brand! Good thing the car doesn't need routine maintenance similar to gas powered cars. It is worth noting that brands which have repeat customers tend to be brands that provide good service. Once the superchargers are universal, I will be looking elsewhere for a car and service. read more

I received amazing customer service from Oliver during my visit. I stopped by the facility to ask a few general questions about the brand and various models - and let's just say I ended up purchasing a brand new Model 3 that same day particularly because of Oliver's advice and information provided. Oliver (and Donnie) was extremely thorough in detail, was a good listener/addressed every question I had and provided me with much needed information prior to making such a large life purchase. However, Oliver is the ONLY rep I would recommend you work with at the location. If it weren't for Oliver, this review would have 1 star instead of 3. To be completely transparent about this store as a whole - the rest of the staff that I encountered was probably some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I walked into the showroom and at least 3 different staff members made eye contact with me and proceeded to just stand around or go back looking onto their computers, no greeting or asking if I needed assistance. I finally spoke to a rep named Karina, in which she was extremely condescending, rude and plain unhelpful. On numerous times as I was speaking to and asking her questions, she would be on her phone texting or scrolling on her computer and give rude responses back. I do not know any of the other rude staff's names - because no one cared to check on me or introduce theirselves, but just be warned that when coming to this Tesla facility, you are walking into a 50/50 service experience - it could either be phenomenal with the help of Oliver or it could leave you never wanting to spend your hard earned money given the terrible customer service from Karina and the rest of the staff. read more

This review is about the Service Center at Tesla in Kennesaw, not about the dealership co-located there or my car experience. I will say I received my Tesla 3 AWD Performance in November 2018 and I love the car, easily the best car and most fun to drive I've ever owned. On to the review for the Service Center - I had to reboot the car and received an error stating my low voltage battery (similar to any other car) was low and I needed service and could not get upgrades until then. I pulled up the Tesla app on my phone and found a 11a next business day so I booked it. 5 stars for ability to set up an appointment easily. Because my appointment was so quick, I didn't get an estimate until I was basically pulling in - the battery was under warranty but since I'd had the car since November 2018 and NEVER brought in for maintenance I wanted to get maintenance done and that was $310. Check some fluids, rotate tires (which I should've skipped), new cabin filter, etc... This is one reason I love Tesla cars, maintenance needs to be done every couple to four years instead of every 6 months or so! Next, dropping off the car was fairly straight forward, you pull into a massive garage and someone comes and greets you and verifies what you are getting done. There was a slight wait of about 5 minutes as the staff was already checking in others. I was amazed at how busy they were. When talking to my service consultant I was offered Uber credits but he said it should only be a couple hours even though it said my car wouldn't be completed until 6:45p that evening. I decided to stay until about 1p when I found out the car hadn't even been touched yet so I grabbed the Uber credits and headed home. What could've been done better, have the service consultant stick to the estimated time and just send me home with Uber credits. Later that day I got notice the car was going to be ready around 6:45p (and they close at 7p). I decided to pick up the next morning and the Tesla app lets you pay and see the invoice - super convenient. The next morning my wife drops me off on the way to meet up with friends and I walk in and am taken care of immediately. Since I had already paid the "check out" was super quick, basically the service consultant had to hand me my key card I had left. She then asked if I saw my car yet and I hadn't so she checked and told me where to find my car on the lot. Found the car quick (1 honk from the Tesla app) and I was on my way. The second issue I ran across was the air pressure on the tires. All but one had received air and were at the correct level so I had to put air in the remaining tire. Not sure how they overlooked that, but it was fairly minor. All in all the Tesla service was great, super nice and friends service consultants, nice app on the phone to communicate, pay, check out the invoice and set up an appointment, the service center has relatively comfy chairs, coffee, TV and wifi and the service was completed as listed in the invoice with the minor tire pressure issue. So close to 5 stars, but due to the two minor hiccups I had to go with 4 stars. read more

3 minutes ago NEW Tesla has the worst service I have ever experienced. There is some kind of issue every single time. Either they cancel your appointment without even a phone call when you book weeks in advance, taking time off work or they have no appointments for warranty repairs and tell you it will be a month. They say they will call but they don't. That month turns in to 3 but you still can't make an appointment. Elon needs to focus less on destroying Twitter and more on improving the service for a vehicle that is considered "high end." I certainly would not categorize MY at this point "high end." read more

After a full year of owning a Tesla, I'd rather pay for expensive gas rather than dealing with this very disappointing vehicle and company. The navigation system is awful (give us Apple CarPlay!), the build quality is easily the industry worst (get ready for panel gaps and other continuous issues), the full self driving system is a complete rip-off, and the sales and service is the absolute worst. It's luxury car pricing, but with North Korean customer service. Tesla does NOTHING to make the customer feel appreciated or valued. read more

Tesla is by far the worst at customer service! You have to text everything in and hope someone answers. My car has been into service 5 times for the headliner. At first the speakers were making crazy noise the ordered two headliners after not being able to fix it. The first headliner was in dropped off car 3 days later they let me know the one they had ordered was damaged the headliner was ordered a month before driving it in they didn't check it when it came in? Then they ordered another. I brought it back and they put it in. I picked it up and noticed how crappy the fit was and told the service manager he said they would order a new one. I brought it back again this time I informed them the was a couple other issues from the last time I notice like a rattle in the pillar and the camera on pillar isn't working correctly. I get notified that the car is done but they couldn't get the speakers to make the noise? That is not what I brought it in for and they didn't have time to look at the other issues. They have had the car for 4 days. Now they don't want to give me an Uber credit to come pick it up. I live a long way from the dealership. This place is horrible. I'm sorry, but Tesla has dropped the ball. Let alone for the price point. I paid $120k+ for a BRAND new, dirty, Model X to be given to me with a rushed, explanation on my vehicle's functionality. You can't reach anyone on the phone. I paid $75k for a new Porsche Cayenne, and could literally TEXT my advisor with anything. Appointments, etc. All you have with Tesla is an app, and you have to hope they aren't too busy to respond. I think I had better service at Nissan!!!! And that truck was $50k! To give you your new car dirty, and ripped interior, yet delayed delivery stating "making perfect" was all cap. My husband thought of getting the Truck when it comes out, but has changed his mind on his own merit due to what he's witnessed. I drove 45 min to Kennesaw, on my apptmnt date, just to be told to go home, empty handed. They didn't have the part. This happened TWICE!!! I'm one more apptmnt away from just giving the truck back! Horrible. My mind is blown that they think this is how to handle a person that spent $122 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Lack of appreciation for sure! And don't bother asking for a loaner! read more
