I usually fly from here to West Palm Beach, and I really appreciate how convenient it is for getting to and from NYC. I'm so glad to see all the improvements they've made over the years! From the updated terminals and the connections between them to the restaurants, check-in areas, and overall experience, it's a big difference. Traveling can be stressful enough, so having a cleaner, more modern, and better-organized airport makes a real difference. LaGuardia has come a long way, and I appreciate the investment in making the airport experience better for travelers. Looking forward to my next flight! Although I use car service arriving & departing NYC, as an avid commuter, the travel experience is dragged down by ground logistics. Rather than a commuter or rail line, the current mass transit setup relies solely on the Q70-SBS 'LaGuardia Link' bus to connect you to the subway & the Long Island Rail Road at Jackson Heights & Woodside. If you skip the bus & opt for a private car service or rideshare instead, the vehicle pickup zones (found at the arrivals inner lane/outer curb doors) are heavily congested. + the frustrating, long walk & if you have heavy luggage, it doubles the frustration. In comparison to JFK, LGA is a great choice for domestic travel due to its proximity to Manhattan & again, the modernized terminals, though it lacks a direct train link. In contrast, JFK is much farther & currently bogged down by heavy construction, yet it remains the essential hub for international routes & reliable public rail connections. LGA's recent renovation has the inside gleaming, yet the surrounding layout & lack of rail lines remain chaotic.
