Formerly a One Stop. There's a post box just outside handy for letters. This used to be a post office but has been relocated to inside Roys. It's great if you live in the area as it's open early til late There are a couple of self service tells as well as regular checkouts. The staff are generally quite young which can sometimes add time to the transaction as they have to check with other members of their team when alcohol is being sold. Lotto is available at all tills. This small tesco metro store is ideally located for getting that extra pint of milk or loaf of bread. Parking is limited but is available on the roads nearby and there is a free cash machine outside. The store itself is well laid out, making the most of the floor space available with stock constantly being put on the shelves so there is usually a good chance of picking up what you need. Choice is obviously limited when compared with larger stores, and there is not so much of a range of cheaper own brand items, but this is not designed to be where you do your main weekly shop so should not be too much of a problem. There is a good selection of newspapers and magazines as well, with sweets and treats to accompany! Staff are efficient and good at managing queues, and are helpful if you are looking for something specific. read more

im lucky to have this have this tesco express on my door step. open early to late. they stock most thing you would want of a convience store but not as larger range as its larger counterparts and not so many of its value and discount lines. newspapers, household, cleaning, alcohol, fruit and veg frozen food are all stocked. this is more of a store for stocking up on a few things than a familys weekly food shop. prices are fair but have noticed items a few pence than the same item sold in the larger tesco extra up the road. theres usually enough staff manning tills and filling shelfs. also has 2 self scan checkouts which can be fun and quicker. store is always clean and tidy well laid out outside is a free cashpoint and post box read more
