The only issue is that people do tend to mill about during very busy times, and it can be frustrating if you just want to whiz in and out again. The self-service check-outs are useful in theory, but sometimes they crash or refuse to let you pay, etc- and often it can be a while before a member of staff comes to help you.

I think that the goods are usually good value for money, and the bonus over tesco further down the road is the pharmacy. There's lots of space to move around, and staff are usually pretty helpful.

It's extremely well located (near the center of town) and the coffee, food and ambiance is always consistently good. Admittedly, there are other decent coffee places nearby- it can be difficult to choose at times! But we always seem to visit this particular Starbucks to get things we know and really like (e.g. one of those delicious sandwiches that they feature in their showcase). The chairs are comfortable, the music is often great and the wi-fi is really appreciated - it's a good place to visit if you're in town! If the weather is good, the outside seating is also appreciated.

I often come here from work to get some lunch and the sandwich selection is a little disappointing, if you get there too late there is very little left. The veggie food on offer in this supermarket is the best for miles around, they do lots of chilled and frozen veggie stuff, it also stocks a good range of baby foods which you wont find in any other Bridgwater supermarket.

It may be because it is dark, and not as airy. I like their pastries which are better than gregs and you get money for your money. They have cakes for celebrations and they personalize them. They have freshly made bread in the shop which is tasty. Their sweet pastries, cakes and buns are very nice. I prefer gregs because of their sandwiches, but for pastries I prefer the taste of Warrens.

If you've not been to Lidl before, it's worth a visit! They stock a huge range of food - both…read morebranded and unbranded - at pretty good prices. You can get all your store cupboard stuff, like beans, pasta etc for great prices. They also choose a theme each week or so, and offer products based on that - it might be fishing, car equipment, cooking, clothing etc and it's always well discounted. If you're willing to try some different bits, then you can get some alternatives to your usual branded products at a fraction of the price. For example, they do a version of laughing cow cheese much cheaper. Couple of downsides in the Exeter store - they rush you through at the tills and don't help you to pack. There is hardly any space for your shopping when it has been scanned so you have to be quick to get it into bags! Take your own bags as otherwise you either have to find a box to put everything in, or buy bags there. Also, the staff are friendly, but customer service isn't great and they always chat over the top of you and have in-jokes all the time. There is a nice big FREE car park there though, and definitely worth a visit. Don't forget a £1 for the trolley!
